The price per Bitswift token will be over $100 per token by the end of 2018.  We are allowed to speculate also, right ?

An update about the progress would be nice Smiley

Update:  We are waiting for the swiftstream core developer to get back to us with some info.   Hopefully that comes soon, else we will be forced to reassign the project to one of our internal devs working on the EHR project.

Although it may take us a little longer to get there, we have to much invested on the business side of things to give up on this project so we can assure you that we will get there.

That is all for now.

The coins are only staking with an running wallet right?
how about having them at the exchange ?

Yes coins will only stake in the desktop wallet.  The interest rate is 3% for those staking.  If you stake you are also helping secure the network, so please do it Smiley

Apologies for delayed response,

-bitswift

I looked at this project when the announcement was made back in may, seemed interesting, how far along is development of Swift Stream?

Thinking of chucking a BTC or two at it.

Development is coming along nicely.  We are estimating another month of finalizing development and testing before it is party time Smiley

The trading volume is really low right now.
Will SWIFt soon be on bigger exchanges?

You can request Bitswift be added to polo :  https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

One would assume the more requests they get the better the chances Bitswift will get listed.

Thanks in advance to anyone who fills out the request form!

Nice project. But is a protocol or a new coin?

Neither, it is a platform built on top of the bitswift blockchain.

Very nice concept and it looks like it will become very popular. I like that there are rewards for viewers too.  Also the graphic design used here and on the website looks great.

Infographic and web design are done by our good friend Zinodaur - check him out here : http://zinodaur.com/

SWIFT trades mostly on Bittrex for those that are interested:

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-SWIFT

-bitswift

So with SWIFT I can back up streamers directly later?
Do I generate SWIFT by Holding long term ?

No, streamers will be paid autonomously in Bitswift for certain actions that are triggered while they are streaming.

Yes, you can generate Bitswift yourself just by holding it and staking it in the wallet.  The staking rate is 3%.  You can download the desktop wallet on our website bitswift.io.

This is a great idea. Following this one.
Marketing will be very important.

You are very correct, marketing is top on our list.  We have been working behind the scenes on connecting with people in the pro scene to help bring this to market.  We mentioned hints of this in the bitswift thread and on the slack shared network thread

What is Swiftstream ?

Swiftstream is a stream promotion and monetization platform built on top of the bitswift blockchain specifically for live streamers (broadcasters).  The objectives of the swiftstream platform are to provide streamers revenue and monetization options, enhance audience participation, and introduce the crypto-layer of the internet to new communities. Swiftstream allows live streamers to snap into a suite of tools to start monetizing and promoting their stream.

Rewards and Incentive:

The bitswift network generates Bitswift from swiftstakers.  These Bitswift will be distributed to broadcasters for streaming and, as a result, down to their audience for participating. We believe this will create synergy for a stronger community and interactivity between streamers and audiences.

Bitswift that has been accumulated by the users of swiftstream may be used within the platform for various purposes which include:

Broadcasters:

Allow your viewers to donate a portion to charity  (% to charity / slider bar)
-Similar to gamingforgood.net
Promote your stream
Enable Recurring donations
Donate your earnings to your viewers (Make it Rain)
Spend your earnings on Emojis, Music, Games, Fun!
Cash out directly to your bank account (Avoid fees)
Investing options
Tools
Analytics

Audiences:

Be part of both niche and large communities
Engage broadcasters
Interact & participate
Bets
Tips
Adds Social
Emojis
Music
Sub Currencies

No ads
Get rewards for participation
Audio / Video options

Future:

We firmly believe live streaming will have a strong presence in our technology destined future, especially when considering the possibilities of virtual reality and user created virtual environments.

Bitswift Decentralized Applications has established close relationships with professional gamers and pro poker players which we believe will help propel swiftstream to the general public.

We hope to see you all participating on swiftstream. We believe you will love it!

Serious question as I am trying to make sense of all this.

Who controls the private keys to the users addresses which exist within the bitstake platform?   Where are the private keys stored?

Please shoot me a pm so we can learn more about your platform.

Thank You,

-bitswift

I would like the answer to this as well.

Please show us how your users control the private keys to their addresses holding their coins.

-Features Highlight -
-In-built system cryptocurrency called BitstakeCoin
-Multi-Stake Staking Mechanism
-Control the funds in your account by exporting and importing Private Keys.
-Send and Receive coins via SMS.
-Advanced Transaction Management with automated withdrawal and alerts.
-Bank-level encryption, Cold storage control and 2 factor authentication.
-Cross-Platform: Phone & tablet apps to manage your funds on the go.
-Automated Referral System.

Could you please clarify how exporting private keys in the end users control, and importing them into your system under your control ensures that the funds are still under the users control ?

We are trying to learn more about bitstake but without technical information it is hard to vouch for the platform.  We can not endorse or promote your platform without being educated or knowing / understanding how it actually works.

Feel free to PM us.

I have same question too about https://webwallet.bitswift.io

Can i stake online like bitstake wallet ?

Who controls the private keys to the users addresses which exist within the bitswift webwallet ?

Where are the private keys stored?

X-swiftness bag holder

Sure I can answer all these questions, glad you asked.

No you can not stake your coins in the bitswift web wallet.  The web wallet is to be used for convenience similar to how your real world wallet holds a few dollars to get you through the day.  We absolutely advise that you do NOT use it as a bank account or a "primary wallet".  It is public after all and as such more opt to be a target for hackers.

The private keys are only in control of the user who has created the account.  The users password encrypts the priv keys which is why we recommend using a strong password.  The salt is on the server, the password is needed to use the salt because it hashes the password and then combines that to the salt.

If someone were to hack the web wallet they would get a bunch of encrypted private keys - without your password they would not be able to decrypt it.

No need to start name calling, why not just ask nicely how things work like I did?

Hello,

Is there a reason why SWIFT was chosen?  What is the criteria to get on bitstake?

Also, you are using the old SWIFT logo, here is the new one:

http://bitswift.io/wp-content/uploads/icon_big.png

thanks,

-bitswift devs

You didn't know that you guys were chosen?

No, and we have no affiliation with bitstake or its developers and know nothing about bitstake platform or its services.

It appears that when you make a deposit into bitstake platform, you give up your control of your coins.  We are still researching the service and trying to make sense of it.  It would be nice if someone from the bitstake team would contact us so we can be better educated on the bitstake platform and its goals.
