I see Intersango has an account at Chase. I guess client could use Chase's quickpay service to deposit money to Intersango. But currently neither Mt Gox nor TradeHill allow deposits or withdrawals via ACH, do they?

Despite what Chase may advertise or claim about their Quickpay product, the payments are definitely reversible just like Paypal.  Not good for bitcoin trades imo.

I have to say, it's looking like BTC is plummeting and I've no idea how it'll recover.

it will recover when there are more buyers than sellers.  Supply and demand, my friend.   Unfortunately at this time, supply is outpacing demand.   I'm glad I didn't invest in mining equipment back in June around $30/BTC.

Do people really believe the government/controllers/bankers would give up their money monopoly without a fight?
Do people realize how important control of the money system is?

I can't vouch for this app though, so try at your own risk

seems like a pretty good idea, maybe put a note on there telling people not to throw it away if they aren't interested because there is "real money" attached - instead give it to another protester who is interested.

I hear it started because some kid choked and died. Who eats the egg whole, I mean seriously?

I've never heard of any kid actually dying like that. I've heard of watchgroups THEORIZING that a kid could die, but I haven't actually seen any stories that I remember.

I agree it is a stupid law that violates personal freedom, but wiki cites 7 deaths worldwide from kinder egg choking :

Quote
Since 1991, at least 7 children worldwide have died of choking after swallowing the toy inside the Kinder egg.[7]

don't know about how pests like or dislike tobacco plants but extracted nicotine can be used as an insecticide on other plants

Motherfucker, is that a 128k upgrade I see on the side?  You rich bitch!

(PC Jr: me too)

stole the pic from wikipedia, mine actually was way more frankenstein - it was a triple(!) stacker, the middle part was a 3.5" floppy drive, the uppermost third was a 40 megabyte hard drive.   The floppy had a switch in the back soldered in so you could only either use the 5.25" or the 3.5" depending on where it was switched to.   On the sidecarts I had a couple memory expansions, a joystick card, and a hard drive controller sidecar with a big ribbon cable connecting it the hard drive on top.

all this stuff was added over several years, and I got the computer when I was like 10 from an uncle and it was already an antique by the time I got it, I think 486dx's were the top of the line at the time.  I wonder how fast a PCjr could mine bitcoins... 1 hash per day? lol

How do I give attribution?  Does anything need to be on the sticker?   Or are these licenses really not designed for anything outside of the web and do not make sense in world of physical printing?

maybe you can print a little attribution note with your inkjet and stick it in the package with the stickers

Hi Bit-vape, I am interested in purchasing for my uncle, who has never tried e-cigs before, and since he's been smoking 20+ yrs I'd like for him to make a transition to the healthier vaping alternative. What would you recommend for the complete novice?

by the way, I'd be interested in a barter trade for your 1 oz silver BTC rounds for my vaping gear.

I agree with what others in this thread have said, there will always be bad apples in every market.  There are  many bogus companies whose penny stocks are traded for USD, even large corporations listed on the major stock exchanges are later revealed to be total frauds.

I wouldn't be interested in listing my company on the GLBSE, but that's because I have no need to sell shares, but other companies should have every right to be able to.  Crypto-anarchy FTW

Re: I am selling some bitcoins on eBay and accepting PayPal...

So after eBay takes its cut, I am not much ahead.

It will pale in comparison to the losses you are going to experience once the charge backs by the scammers start to happen..

If the seller is able to prove he shipped a physical item via a USPS tracking number, will paypal not side with the seller on a dispute?   However on a digital-only transfer of bitcoins, I would expect paypal to side with the buyer

From my recent experience with PP they will side with the scammer almost every time out of the ten or so that did me one was rejected. What is guaranteed to happen is as soon as claim is filed the money comes out of your PP account till they decide if the scammers claim is valid with the most common claim being my account was hacked and I did not purchase the item this one gets approved by PP every time, again in my experience with it others may have a happier one than I had but I doubt it.

were you shipping a physical item and providing ebay/paypal with the tracking number?  or were you sending bitcoins digitally?

FWIW my android phone w/ barcode scanner reads them all.  It helps to hold it back a couple feet from the monitor so the QR code doesn't take up much of the barcode scanner screen, you want the details to sort of blur together
