Hello guys,

I need 0.025 BTC to pay for a VPN subscription.

I will pay back 0.028 BTC in max. 72 hours (buying coins through Bitstamp).

I would be happy if someone would help me out with this.

Kind regards  Smiley

What do you mean by hitting close twice? Did you get your money back in the end?

hitting the close button for an open position... it´s a known bug that several users have experienced in the
past pages in this thread  Wink

Bitstamps volume is heavily skewed this month due to the fact that they are running a 0 % trading fee promotion for
a big part of their customers  Wink

Is verification necessary for cashout when using BTC?

Thank you in advance.

What do you mean by verification?  If you mean ID verification then no that is not necessary to cashout, but email confirmation is necessary.

I was talking about ID verification and/or utility bill.

Is it really not necessary (then I would sign up for your service)?

In another thread the rep of ACR (the same network as Betcoin Poker) told me that ID was necessary for cashout.

So are you sure Betcoin doesn´t require you to upload/send them your current ID?

They're offering to give me back 2344.5 of 6537.61  USD lost from a good faith effort to close a position. I am guilty of hitting close more than once, but I refreshed before doing so and the info displayed in the browser obviously did not indicate that previous market orders had gone through (otherwise their engine would have bounced the new orders because they're not supposed to stack). I got caught in a loop of confusion where i was a short then a long etc, but since their web server was feeding me wrong info during the crash I feel wronged by bfx. I do not know how to respond to the offer.

Sorry to hear that, I know of many other people who had problems with hitting buttons multiple times  Lips sealed
However I would take their offer. It obviously sucks but that is the most you will get from them as a
gesture of goodwill.

@OP fishiness doesn't stop at just the crap going on today. BFX has had a history of fishiness.

All the non-bitcoinica stuff was developed by a user named "myself"? those features alone are what made BFX as big as it is today, otherwise ppl would never have flocked there. Guess what? the guy got the boot after BFX felt there was no need for him. Had they been smart and kept him on, you wouldn't see the lag you see on their site today.

Don't panic about BFX. Run.

well if your exchange does not have technical problems then you cant have technical glitches that forces you to stop trading during margin calls cascades and stop withdrawals. that is why bitfinex is working real hard on their technical problems.

its proven that bitfinex owners/employees trade on their own platform.

why is it so hard to fathom that bitfinex is crashing the market to fulfill their own buy orders?
someone in bitfinex needs money, and now they got your cheap coins. the technical side just plays into the scam.

i dont trade on bitfinex.. i'm just saying that if you dont have technical problems then you wont have technical glitches.. bitfinex is working very hard on their technical glitches that is causing them to stop trading and halt withdrawals. that is all i really know about the situation over there. everything i read makes me think they might collapse. i dont really know though.

CTO said yesterday they have still no clue how to fix the problem. Therefor it will not get better anytime soon.

Good luck staying there and praying to not lose money in the next volatile phase..

source of the CTO statement?

Do I have to complete your player verification process if I only deposit and withdraw using BTC?
(I know this is obviously necessary if I deposit using one of the other methods, but was wondering
about BTC)

i am from india and i am not using any proxy or like that , i use 3g dongle , other sports betting websites are opening without any problem, only your site is giving this type of problem.

i mostly use trading for cricket , soccer and tennis sports matches.

Please message us with your IP address.

would you be interested in selling the script of BetBTC?

I think your site has not enough liquidity currently (not even 0.050 BTC in most markets and too big spreads) and I would be interested in buying it from you  Wink

The software is not for sale. Contrary to what you wrote, betbtc is growing each day and we are verifying more liquidity every month Smiley

Let´s look at an example match, champions league qualifier between Tel Aviv and Basel  Wink
Quote
3,25 Back / 3,75 Lay
2,14 Back / 2,42 Lay
3,40 Back / 3,85 Lay

Market "depth" at the odds posted above:
13 mBTC Back / 26 mBTC Lay
531 mBTC Back / 335 mBTC Lay
2 mBTC Back / 1 mBTC Lay

Conclusion:
-market depth / available volume is a joke, the only selection, which is remotely acceptable is the volume for Back or Lay Basel... and even these numbers are way too low
-spreads are way too big (and I have not even included your commission in my calculations)

This of course only was one example market, but by looking at other available matches the situation is very similar at all markets.

Don´t get me wrong, I like your site and I would be very happy if it would grow but at the current liquidity I simply cannot use it. And with these big spreads
BetBTC is no competition for most of the other sportsbooks/exchanges  Sad

So what will happen ?
Are you still planning on financing the bankroll by yourself ?

Yeah that will happen. I'll keep divesting at 10% until then though so investors have more time.
I'll be working on a new version in the mean time.

It's worth mentioning that I am working on another project that will allow you to invest but it won't be ready for a few months so I won't give too much detail here yet.

Please tell us more about this new project...
I´m just looking for a general idea what we can expect (betting exchange, poker site or whatever you have planned  Smiley ) ?

You can buy Bitcoins using Neteller at coinimal.com  Wink
Besides, it is possible to exchange Neteller funds to Bitcoin by using Linden $ (the
currency used in SecondLife) as an intermediate.
