Napoli is really too much. I wonder how far they will go to make Osimhen suffer, as they don't want to sell Osimhen at a low price, but they didn't even pay his salary while he was on loan. So it does seem that there are indications that Napoli is really waiting for offers Saudi Pro League. It's like a tug of war. If Napoli loses their momentum, then they risks losing Osimhen for free. But what is no less interesting is whether Osimhen still has enough patience to wait until his contract ends.

If they keep holding Victor Osimhen and he becomes a free agent, the club will lose lots of money. I am suspecting that Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to lose money because he wants a bigger offer or wants to teach Victor some lessons. We have seen clubs blocking players from leaving because they had issues with them. Napoli should know that the Nigerian is not willing to move to the Saudi Professional League. It is not easy for a player to stay inactive for a whole season because it might affect their performance. But it seems it might be the case or Osimhen might have to go on loan for another season.
If they send Osimhen out on loan for another season, he'll become a free agent at the end of the year. Napoli won't earn any transfer fees in that case. Therefore, they need to reach an agreement with the player and move forward accordingly. As far as I know, Osimhen has a contract with Napoli until 2026. I don't think they let him go this summer. Otherwise, they'll have to watch him go to any team he chooses for free without earning the money they want.

Honestly, for them, it is not really a huge achievement at all. We should be considering how this can't be that much of a big deal since they are not really hoping to do great at UCL at all. Most likely outcome would be staying out of top 24, because that is what they think it would be looking like.

What we are seeing at the moment is a team that is not doing great at all, and that is exactly what we are going to see yet again too. If we can do that, then we are going to make sure that they finish better at premier league, that is all that matters for them. If they can do that, then the yare going to make a lot of money without a doubt. Surely it is not going to be that tough, but it would not be impossible to handle neither, it can be done.

The Premier League is as important as the Champions League. If you don't do well in the Premier League, you can't do well in the Champions League.
Unfortunately, to access the cup you have to play well and be among the top of the table, there are no other loopholes
I actually disagree with this view, because Liverpool won the Premier League title but were eliminated early in the Champions League. It's not true to say that a team that succeeds in the Premier League will definitely succeed in the Champions League. Similarly, remember that Chelsea didn't finish well in the Premier League the year they won the Champions League. Therefore, while the Premier League is very important, it wouldn't be right to judge it directly based on their performance in the Champions League. The two competitions are completely different. In fact, I think the Premier League is more difficult, but the atmosphere in the Champions League is much different, and the teams play there differently.

So it does seem that there are indications that Napoli is really waiting for offers Saudi Pro League. It's like a tug of war. If Napoli loses their momentum, then they risks losing Osimhen for free. But what is no less interesting is whether Osimhen still has enough patience to wait until his contract ends.
And indirectly Napoli do not want to see Osimhen in Europe, I think it is clear that what Napoli did was outrageous. They forgot Osimhen services when he was still an important part of the club, and it is possible that in the future players who now contribute many goals will end up with the same fate, Napoli's actions reflect that they can career a player who has contributed greatly.
None of us know what's going on behind the scenes. Osimhen was a very important player for Napoli until a few years ago. However, now, whatever happened, Napoli doesn't want him on the team at all. Furthermore, this has nothing to do with his quality, as he's a truly exceptional player. If he plays for Napoli this year, I'm sure he'll score over 25 goals again. However, Napoli absolutely don't want him on the team. They'll undoubtedly sell him and use the money to sign new players. Furthermore, they have the power to decide whether to accept transfer offers. Therefore, if they accept a transfer offer from a team the player doesn't want, it creates the impression that they must be trying to leave Osimhen helpless. This behavior is completely unbecoming of a professional football team; they're completely unethical.

it?ll take something special to stop them in their tracks.

I believe red cards could stop them, thus, their players will need to be extra cautious to avoid any unnecessary fouls, and at the same time be assertive themselves on Chelsia half. That being said, I do agree that PSG have the better chance of winning, especially if they score first. However, if Chelsea gets the opening goal, PSG's defense might struggle against Chelsea's pressure, which could lead to an unexpected result. Probably I will bet on btts along with total over 2.5.

Paris Saint-Germain will do everything to win the match in the first half, it's easy for them to do it, it's simple for them to do it.
Every time they do it or try to do it they succeed, so I would say that it's now their tactic, trying to score as many goals as possible in the shortest time possible, so over 2.5 is a good bet.
If Paris Saint-Germain, who scored four goals against Real Madrid, plays as flawlessly as they did against Real Madrid, they'll score a similar number against Chelsea. However, I'm sure over 2.5 goals wouldn't be enough. If Chelsea wants to win the final, they need to take the match to extra time, so in my opinion, Chelsea should play defensively. If they create open chances without playing defensively, they'll fall apart like Real Madrid. We're in a time when Paris Saint-Germain is a ruthless machine. They can tear any team apart.

even PSG has been very ready to fight Real Madrid, with their spirit burning even more because they will fight Mbappe, as their ex-player who is indeed very often associated. What is clear is that PSG will play without Pacho, one of PSG's mainstay defenders, and Hernandz too. They are professional players, on the other hand, Hakimi and Mbappe are also old friends at PSG.

And this is Hakimi's confession when asked about how his meeting with Mbappe will be:

Source: Achraf Hakimi before facing Real Madrid
Not having this main stay players and mostly the defender Hernandz will be challenging for PSG because they will be facing a squad that is family with their tactics and formation because they have a key ex player from their team, Mbappe and hakimi will still be friends even after this game, they understand this is their profession and they have to do that which they are been paid to do, which is them defending their various team and this has nothing to do with their friendship. But I will love to see this two play against each other and the brilliance PSG has currently, is one which Madrid should not undermine if not they may get a shocker.

This match will be truly exciting to watch. It will be an emotional one for Mbappé, as he will be playing against his former club, where he played for so long. As is well known, he joined Real Madrid last year, where he scored a lot of goals but failed to win a trophy. PSG, on the other hand, won the Champions League after Mbappé left the club. If they make it through this round, they will eliminate Mbappé's team, advance to the final, and perhaps even win the trophy. Therefore, Mbappé needs to stop his former team. It will be an emotional and challenging match for him.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25

I wouldn't support the move of Rodrigo to SPL, because he is still very your and needs to create records for himself and win European trophies. If he goes to SPL, he wouldn't be popular anymore, because he is still coming up and not yet famous compared to the old footballers in SPL that went from Europe clubs. Rodrygo loves Real Madrid and assuming he is meeting up with the competition at hand, he would have not think of moving to somewhere else.
A young player like Rodrigo still deserves to be at Real Madrid, and now that Real Madrid is coached by Alonso, who also really appreciates young talent, next season is a great opportunity for Rodrigo to continue his career at Real Madrid. La Liga is a very competitive league, so it can be quite good for the career path of any young player, including players like Rodrigo, who have already shown their form in several matches in previous seasons. I also still like him choosing to stay at Real Madrid with his other teammates, because next season Real Madrid must be better than last season.
Of course, I also support him to stay in Real Madrid provided that the coach can rotate players in order for Rodrigo to have time playing on the field, because if he just sits on the bench, it will affect his performance. Maybe, that's why his manager wanted him to go to another club, but Rodrigo believes in Madrid more than any other club.
If Rodrygo stays, I think he'll find opportunities and capitalize on them. The Brazilian is truly a top-tier player, and every team wants to have him. If Real Madrid sells such a player, they'll need to consider who they can replace him with. Of course, there might be a transfer fee, but the key is whether they'll find a player of the same caliber. There are players of Brazilian quality out there. I think he needs to be patient and earn his place back. He needs to know how to fight for it. Because the team he'll be playing for is Real Madrid, one of the biggest teams in the world. Real Madrid doesn't guarantee a player a place in the league.

The new format is going to be underway in 10 days. Now teams are going to play 2 more matches than before in this stage. Once again the half of them are away and the other half are home matches. But this time every team are going to play against a different team in every match. What do you think about this format? Do you like it or have problems with adapting to it? The only difference is in this league stage. The rest of the tournament is the same format as before.
I don't understand what you mean by "the new format is going to be underway in 10 days" is the Champions League going to start in the next 10 days? Of course not or are you talking about the qualifiers that has already started? I'm just confused as to what you meant by the format starting in the nest ten days. Could you please clarify me on this?
The first legs of the Champions League qualifying round are currently being played. Some matches have already concluded. Teams hoping to advance to the final stage of the Champions League are playing with a dream in mind. However, I'm certain that all the teams currently playing are actually vying for either the Conference League or Europa League spots, as they will face very strong teams in the upcoming rounds. Qualifying for the Champions League's first round is virtually impossible, at least for the teams playing today. Nevertheless, the excitement of the Champions League qualifying round has begun.

I see Rodrygo as a Premier League player, i mean he is fast and have very good finishing from a long time the Premier League is focus on this type of strikers and not into the clasic number 9, only Chelsea with Delap in this recent market own a clasic 9 in the top teams.

Rodrygo can be something like Gabriel Jesus i believe, maybe a little bit worst.
Delap was a significant signing for Chelsea, but I don't think he's a player comparable to Rodrygo. Delap has adapted to the Premier League and, in my opinion, has become a quality player. Rodrygo, if he's transferred, will have to adapt to the Premier League. If he adapts quickly, he could be successful, but if he doesn't, he could be as ineffective as Richarlison.

Benjamin Šeško scored a total of 13 goals and provided 5 assists for RB Leipzig while Viktor Gyokeres has scored 39 goals with 7 assist (correct me if I'm wrong) and their names has been on almost every transfer news we see or hear on the news. Arsenal are desperately looking for a way to get them both even if they find it hard to be serious about getting any of them. Viktor Gyökeres did much last season with the number of goals scored while Benjamin Šeško didn't get close, it seems both strikers have so much to offer and I ask, who'd do more better for Arsenal next season, is it Benjamin Šeško or Benjamin Šeško?
In my opinion, Gyökeres would be more successful at Arsenal than Sesko. The Swedish striker is also physically strong. He seems to have found his groove recently and knows how to play very well. He's also had some successful performances for the national team, so I'm in favor of him. However, the real question is whether the transfer fee he's asking is truly something Arsenal can afford. I don't know if Arsenal can afford such a high transfer fee. If they can acquire him, I think the team will move up. Of course, he scored 39 goals in the Portuguese league, and even 20 in the Premier League would be enough for Arsenal.

The second half just began few minutes ago, and judging by the outcome of the first half, I have no doubt about Chelsea not winning this match against Fluminense, because it is 69 minutes already, and Joao Pedro just scored another goal at 56 minutes, making it the second goal of the game, while still dominating the entire game, and having the most ball possession and shots on target. Because at this point right now, I'm pretty sure is only likely to play a defensive game, since they have already scored 2 goals. But however, let's watch out what the outcome of the match will be, as I think Chelsea is likely to score more goals.

They didn't score more goals but that victory was enough for them. Joao Pedro showed that he is very high quality with the 2 goals he scored, I see him as a successful transfer for Chelsea. He is a player who can provide a lot of value to Chelsea this year. I think Chelsea made one of the right choices by transferring him. They are now in the CWC final and will wait to see who their opponents will be tomorrow.

Since Osimhen has waited so long, he will say yes to Galatasaray and wants to sign for as much money as possible.
There are news on social media that Galatasaray and Osimhem have agreed, but I don't know how true it is.
He is definitely a very good football player and would contribute greatly to Galatasaray.
The biggest question in my mind is how Galatasaray (if they agree with Osimhen) will be able to handle this cost.
We will wait and see if Osimhen will come to Galatasaray!
I don't think this would be a big problem. Because if they organized a fundraiser for this transfer, I'm sure the fans would collect enough money to cover his transfer fee. Also, sponsors and jersey sales would be enough to arrange the Nigerian striker's salary and transfer budget. He came to Galatasaray and stayed on loan for a year. He performed very well and is now about to come to Galatasaray completely. If this transfer happens, Galatasaray will have made one of the best transfers in the club's history. I'm sure they thought about the financial aspect.

PSG is indeed a team to beat. They have long been in this sports and they are doing it professionally. They are not here just for fun, but to beat teams around the world. They are serious in getting that coveted trophy, hence, they work hard for it. I believe, this sports is like a serious business for them, not only for the athletes but all the involved stakeholders in this team. We can't blame them as they are shelling good amount of money on this sports, thus, they also want good results out of it.

No player or team is not out there playing or managing the team without their main interest and focus to be money. They play in order to win trophies, add more records to their names, to their teams and more money to their pockets. I am very sure at every trophy win for a team, players also get bonuses or special gifts from the club, so they have to try their best to be the best and win trophies because it’s all win win for them and the team. PSG have been so prudent recently, so any team they’re facing will or should be scared that they will eventually be eliminated if they don’t perform well up to the quality nature of PSG in this competition as whole.
If we talk about next year's Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain's rivals have also made very good transfers for themselves. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain are currently seen as the favorites for next year's championship. Also, Liverpool is another one of these favorites. It is not easy for Paris Saint-Germain to stand out among these teams. However, there is a difference in the technical director. Paris Saint-Germain's technical director is a very intelligent man. Luis Enrique is a man who analyzes the opponent very well and prepares his team very well according to the opponent. Considering this difference, of course there is a possibility for them to be champions again in the Champions League.

If Xabi Alonso gives him decent playing time, Gonzalo Garcia could develop to be close to Raul Gonzalez level. He's still very young, and his talent will be honed over time. In my opinion, Xabi Alonso should be able to accommodate playing time for all the young players in his squad, because Ancelotti previously didn't put much faith in them, it is understandable that it was due to the demands of the situation.

Garcia has been with Madrid for the last two seasons. But ancelotti has not given  any chance to this young talent.  After Xabi Alonso became the new manager, we are getting to know how talented Garcia is.

Garcia has  the ability to make it to Madrid's starting XI. Xabi has  given Garcia enough time and opportunities in the fifa club world cup matches. Garcia has not disappointed the fans. He has proven his ability. We have seen better performances than Garcia in every match. Garcia was very confident  even against big teams like Dortmund and juventus . If Xabi Aaonso keeps his eye on garcia, then this youngster will become one of the most important players in the Madrid squad in the next few seasons...
I am sure there are many more diamonds like him in Real Madrid's infrastructure. In fact, Real Madrid will be in a much better place with young and talented players like Arda Güler, Gonzalo Garcia, Endrick, Brahim Diaz. I also heard that Nico Paz is one of the players that Xabi wants to keep on the team. I don't know his latest transfer status, but I can say that he performed well last year on loan. I think Xabi will bring success to Real Madrid with his young players. His belief like this brought the championship to Leverkusen. Who knows what he can do with Real Madrid.
