Anyone thinking about a 3rd coin that will take the first place than BTC or ETH? I think It's NEO.

There are many reasons to like NEO. They have a devoted community, A layer-2 scaling solution (Trinity) is being built, many upcoming ICOs will add to the already robust ecosystem, and NEO is cozy with the Chinese government.

NEO is unapologetically staying centralized (and censorable) for the near future until the ecosystem is mature enough to release into the wild. While I (and many others) disagree with NEOs stance, it is the China way, and its undeniable that centralization is more efficient in some instances.

We could see geopolitical tensions between the US and China heat up which may incent China to go all in on crypto. What does a state-sponsored crypto future look like in China? No one really knows, but the NEO ecosystem is prepared to be the major public infrastructure. Sure, we might see a CrypoYuan being created, but I that will only add value to NEO.

As it stands today, dogecoin likely won't see a technological death.

The current core devs are adamant about keeping the network running for the community as long as there are people that want to learn about cryptocurrency via experimentation

Ethereum is the main platform of todays blockchain world. Ethereum is the operating system. Ethereum is the canvas, the paper, or that bar bathroom wall that you cant help but read. It is the protocol people build upon. Ethereum is a generalized blockchain; its not specialized for any one purpose (unlike Bitcoins). It is generalized so that anyone can program it for their specific needs. Almost all ICOs hosted in ETH platform, we won't see that many altcoins in the market if there's no ETH

The death of Ethereum has been announced prematurely many times in the past.

It will certainly eventually be replaced by a more worthy technical alternative.

But I think still a couple of years out until that happens.

I have never been hacked or had crypto stolen, and that is because I take security very seriously. Here are my best options for securely storing my crypto:
- The paper wallet/ Cold storage
- The Hardware Wallet

Crypto market is one of the world unpredictable markets, it can change direction any time any day. No matter the prospect of yesterday, it can go down today and no matter the cons of yesterday, it can go up today as well.
So sure it's hard to make permanent money in the crypto market Sad

Im setting my alert of bitcoins price at 3k. If we get there, I will be buying like a crazy. If we dont get there, Im happy with my portfolio. No matter what happens this or next year, Im looking at my investment no closer than over the next 5 years. With that said, any bear market is a great opportunity for us.
