Update v1357
- Fixed OC and fanspeed for NVIDIA - especially on older drivers

SimpleMining images update

- SM-i071h-6.1.57-3-a22.40.6-rf23.20.2-6.2.10-nv535.129.03-u20 (New Beta image with new kernel, newest NV drivers, newest AMD drivers and newer AMD libraries)

Finally the Wi-Fi is working properly!!!
I guess because of the new kernel. Until now, at every rig restart the wi-fi USB stick was not recognizable any more, had to stop the rig for a few minutes and the start it again to work on WiFi.

lol. If you are unable to run a cold wallet that always works. then for you 90% of projects are scams. Grin Turn on your head and up your own node. The cold wallet works and has always worked! its not a  scam.

Says the one who accuses florachain being a scam Smiley) Well, I guess we'll see if it's a scam or not...

Their webwallet https://wallet.dynexcoin.org/ was synchronizing for the last 3 days, now they are moving to another datacenter and still can't be accessed. This is very suspicious. Seems like a scam.

Hello

Using the new TRM 0.10, I have quite frequently this error:

Code:

/root/xminer.sh: line 195: 11009 Aborted                 ${minerSudo} /root/miner/${MINER_PKG_NAME}/${MINER_FILE} ${MINER_OPTIONS_GO}

I don't know what can be, because it's not only on one rig....

When we can expect to have the VRAM temperatures for NVidia cards displayed on SMOS? Thanks!
Hard to say. Its under Nvidia NDA unless someone will release it for public usage.

Saw a video from Red Fox Crypto saying that MMPOS has implemented it.

I assume all 6900XTs have got the same power masurement.

MVDDCI only 650? Will give it a try tomorrow.
I cant go lower at the core voltage or they become unstable.

Core I use 620mV but into Simplemining console it shows 650mV so I don't know ...

I am running a few Asrock OCF 6900XTs on simplemining.
While the hashrate is good (around 63 MHs ETH), the power consumption shown in SM is 130-135 Watt.
I have seen some users of Hive taking only 110 Watt for a 6900XT.

This take me to the questions if anybody here runs

simplemining with 6900XTs, getting 63 MHs and lower than 130 Watt.
Would be nice to get the settings for a try....

My settings:

GMiner - 1270 - 1060 - 650, 1280, 850

0: Asrock RX 6900 XT 16GB 113-EXT800220-L02 1270/1059 700 mV 62.23 MH/s 1280 mV/850 mV 132 W 44℃ / 29%
1: Asrock RX 6900 XT 16GB 113-EXT800220-L02 1270/1059 700 mV 62.85 MH/s 1280 mV/850 mV 131 W 50℃ / 29%
2: Asrock RX 6900 XT 16GB 113-EXT800220-L02 1270/1059 700 mV 62.85 MH/s 1280 mV/850 mV 132 W 45℃ / 29%
3: Asrock RX 6900 XT 16GB 113-EXT800220-L02 1270/1059 700 mV 62.85 MH/s 1280 mV/850 mV 135 W 45℃ / 29%
250.79 MH/s   610 W

thx

I'm running 2 x 6900XT Nitro SE:
TRM - 1250 - 1066 - 620, 1280, 650

GPU 5 [55C, fan 20%]       ethash: 62.40Mh/s, avg 62.36Mh/s, pool 62.49Mh/s a:3816 r:0 hw:0
GPU 6 [44C, fan 20%]       ethash: 62.42Mh/s, avg 62.38Mh/s, pool 62.53Mh/s a:3818 r:0 hw:0

Power in TRM says 123W, but I'm quite sure at wall are around 150W. Also we all know TRM has a little lower hashrate, and power consumption also.

Okay guys a really really weird issue over here
I'm running different models/memories RX 5700 XT's and they kept crashing. I changed everything from cables, risers, mobo, cpu, ram, tried one by one etc.. and the SDMA error kept hammering, the wattage on a random GPU would drop from like 100wish to 50wish.
So a guy suggested me I try phoenix miner version 5.4c and now the rig is working all good
I'm wondering what could be causing this?? Like i said i tried everything without a solution.. except this perfect miner i hope u guys dont remove it because its the only one working

Had a similar situation with TeamRedMiner, don't remember the version... All of my rigs runs ok with TRM but at some point one of them started crashing without changing anything. Switched to Phoenix Miner and no issue at all. After some updates of TRM switched back from PM to TRM for that rig and no crashing ever since. I don't know what was de reason.

So... I finally got my win in a shuffle after trying 30+ times and it seems like this new RTX 3080 Xtreme is a LHR edition. NOTE there was no advisement from newegg about it being LHR. Nothing in the shuffle or on the box or sticker says anything about LHR. Its starts mining around 87mhs and drops to 47 very quickly. I'm super bummed. Do you guys know of any mining software that gets around the issue? Feel free to PM if its private.

Use nbminer-nebutech v39.2 (think this is the latest one), you should get around 65-70 Mhs depending on the card.

Have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBxSSKdurKQ maybe it's possible on smos also.
We are looking into it.

We have tested this ability to crash 3060.
Well it needs some adjustment in OS thats a one.
Then it needs manual few steps made by hand in order to properly crash GPU,
Then gpu is hashing with more than 22% rejected shares.
Then if GPU will crash and it will at some point it wont recover automatically at all.
So i am not sure if this makes any sense as gpu will be unstable, generate much rejects and wont reboot properly.
Meaning in my opinion it is not worth to use as average hash will be lover than in case you do nothing + you need to sit 24/7 and look into rig.
For now best solution is to use lolminer.

Ok, many thanks for checking.

I should be running this on 2x 3060's in about 20 minutes
Nice.
There is a bug in current lolminer in which next epoch causes lower hashrate but soon it will be fix most probably Smiley

as a heads up we dropped back to 25mh from 36-37mh. with the new epoch

To be clear a simple reboot bounces you back up to 36-37

bla bla bla
EXACTLY!

This is the problem right? People defending this PnD that just happen in front of their eyes can't concieve that devs are certainly more tech savy and more scam savy than them.

Exit scams are no blatant, otherwise they wouldn't work. Just look into the past, coins like NXT (which gave birth to NEM btw), pyramid schemes like Bitconnect. They all had exit scams not so obvious and delusional people, who hope they will regain their 80% loss in this coin, help them to do the exit scam unknownly because they protect them by default.

Exit scam? Pyramid schemes? Bitconnect? Dude, what are you smoking? NEM has more than 6 years history, so stop with this non-sense FUD.

Does anyone know how Fan control work for RTX 3070?
Are there any command? Sliders does not work.
Okay, case solved. If someone run into the same problem. Mixed rigs are not supported, mixed rigs does not mean amd and nvidia in the same rig, it means different GPU's are not supported: 3070 with 2060 etc.
I had 3070 and 2060 super in same rig, fan control does not work, if i removed 2060 super, fan control works as a charm.
I have the same issue with 3070 mixed with 1080ti...
All nvidia fanspeed issues are fixed right ? (except the one that one fan is not spinning in 3xxx series in some models) ?

Are fixed now, thanks!

It says you can still mine in full (~28 Mhs) with a 4Gb card Ethereum (ETH) if you insert it into the x16 slot on the Mobo. I guess only on the first slot.... DAG is loaded into the RAM? What do you guys think?

Hi guys! I need help with this

I have a 5600 xt sapphire, I was using the last drivers of amd, 2021 version (not sure which), and phoenix miner 5.5c and:
After I flashed the bios of the youtber: Red Panda Mining, the video is called "BIOS MOD for the RX 5600 XT For Ethereum Mining" I follow the things I have to change in the bios, video: ULTIMATE 5600xt Ethereum Mining Guide, by: Son of a tech

So, the bios worked, I started phoenix miner and instead of use 78-79W, now with this new Bios Im using 120 W (reported both by Radeon Software and Phoenix miner), and I undervolted to 690 with More Power tool, rebot and,Randeon software shows 690-690-690, and still at 120W power usage reported by radeon software and phoenix miner. I just flashed the previous Bios for my sapphire 5600 xt, and undervolted to 680, Radeo SW reports 679-679-679 in options, and while Im farming it show in the single display 681mv. So now the Power consumption reported by both programs again, is 73W. Not sure what I did wrong, but for 3.9 more Mhash, at the cost of like 30W more, dont worth for me.

EDIT: okay, Im trying it again: 43.8 Mhash, at the cost of 120W and temp 44°-45°, but the temp is the same like when I was using the stock Bios (just modified with More Power Tool, results was like 40.3 Mhash at 77-78W and temp 45°). This is a visual bug? I will try to add screenshots.
EDIT 2: screenshots

Now Im using the drivers: 20.12.1

Don't take into consideration what the SW (driver) says about power consumption. Use a kill-a-watt and measure it a the wall. You should get the same power at wall for both non-modded and modded bios, just the Mhs is higher in case of the modded bios. I did the same for my 5600 XT sapphire Nitro cards and all are hashing at around 41.3 Mhs (43.8 was not stable long term) @ 95W at wall.

Hello everyone.

So I have a rig with 1080Ti and I downloaded Ethenlargmentpillr2 and of course it worked but it was a TROJAN virus and I downloaded it from a legit link on this site from GitHub. After a week I saw someone on the screen moving the mouse going through my browser passwords trying to log into Binance. Anyway. He couldn't and I removed all passwords. It worked fine but 2 days later the rig crashed and everyone was deleted all my software and desktop icons. Windows want even working right.

Anyway, long story short I heard that Pheonix now has -straps option that would do the same thing. Of course it needs admin so if the rig reboots I have to start it manually. But that's ok. The pill was the same.

So on my 1080Ti
I normally get only 32Mh over locked to 2000 for core and 5500 for memory.

I tried - straps 1 it crashed
I tried - straps 2 it increased to 39, not quite as 47 like I had with Ethenlargmentpillr2
I tried - straps 3 and it crashed and artifacted almost instantly

So I was hoping I can raise attention to the virus (took me 12 hours to reinstall windows and drivers and set up everything over)

And I was hoping someone can help me get back to 47 My/s on my 1080Ti by just using Pheonix. Everyone says switch tovTRex but I'm used to Pheonix.

Thanks everyone!

I have 5x 1080Ti running at 46.5Mhs at 210w, i use +150/+650 88% POWER OC settings and -staps 2

If anyone knows a better OC setting please share.

If you want to get ~49-50 MHs you have to increase the PL to 230W, it's because of the DAG file. In the past you could get 50MHs with 190W but now.... Let's hope NVidia will fix the drivers and we will get again 50 @190W  Smiley
