This is why they are decentralised application, you don't need to expose your private keys in any third party website, some wallets like trust wallet supports decentralised apps in the sense that you can login and connect your wallet to the decentralised application without having to input your private keys, in decentralized applications in the EOS network, almost all EOS wallets supports this features as well, very secure way to use any decentralised application.

Maybe you must have done something wrong and got disqualified but I know for certain that the airdrop is real and distribution is still ongoing right now and you can even follow the process from the stellar explorer, that is what I call transparency. Check it out here- https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/account/GDV4KECLSZLKRVH4ZTWVAS4I3W2LPAPV66ADFFUZKGIVOTK6GMKGJT53

Re: How to start trading with 2 BTC? What is the first step?
by
Bravext
on 13/11/2019, 10:03:44 UTC
The first step is definitely not to come to Bitcointalk and ask a bunch of strangers how to trade, this is the first step to rekt. But I understand how it could be  for a newbie and we all have different ways of learning, if you want to begin, you have to know that there would be absolutely no way to avoid losses at the beginning but you are going to learn what works and what doesn't work by trial and error, you could start with much smaller funds to learn though.

Considering the fact that the Chinese Government are now pro-bitcoin and pro-cryptocurrencies, other countries are seriously jumping on the bandwagon and if this isn't progress, then I seriously don't know what it, Bitcoin is rapidly heading towards worldwide adoption and we should all embrace ourselves for the impact because it is coming sooner rather than later.

Another money maker in the Cryptocurrency sphere apart from Bounties and Airdrops are actually working for Cryptocurrency projects although most of the jobs requires you to have an impressive resume or be knowledgeable about Blockchain developement, developers are hot cakes right now, but another job that pays well is social media managers or community managers but the jobs are very hard to find for the simple fact that a community needs just about 2 or 3 community managers to manage it.

Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin
by
Bravext
on 13/11/2019, 09:48:18 UTC
I remember when Binance chain newly launched and it was a huge thing because of the Binance Decentralised Exchange, some pretty dead coins that had not seen a combined volume of $100 in months suddenly jumped back to life and started mooning like crazy and also started having huge volumes of $10,000+ daily and it was all because they announced that they would be migrating to the Binance chain, a miracle like that could still happen to the coins you are holding even though the chance is quite slim but one lesson you should learn from the Binance chain fiasco is that the coins that picked up didn't maintain their volume or activity for long, so if your coins ever ressurect, don't be greedy, just dump and move on.

Re: Japenese bank to incorporate Ripple Moneytap
by

on 13/11/2019, 09:42:40 UTC
What I wanna know is... What came out of the previous partnerships that Ripple had with Banks and online payment services in the past? Or a partnership agreement is where it all starts and ends? They should have realised by now that news like this does not move prices anymore, the Cryptocurrency sphere has matured past the stage where every news would have a huge impact on price because of FOMO, Stellar recently burned 50% of the whole coin supply and it barely added $0.02 to the price of XLM, if that had happened in 2017 or early 2018, it would have increased the price of Stellar +1000% just like the news of bank partnerships did with Ripple price in the past.

Re: Free ATH for everyone who has ETH!

The days when forked coins used to be a huge deal are over, back in the day it used to be a very huge event and would have people scrambling to get the tokens so that they can benefit from the fork and get some free coins that would be worth a lot of money later, these days it's not the same because while you would get some free tokens, the tokens would be almost useless because the hype surrounding it that would boost the price is just missing

Re: [NEWS] A Mysterious Airdrop Called EIDOS Is Clogging EOS to Make a Point
by
Bravext
on 13/11/2019, 09:27:00 UTC
This wouldn't be the first and likely wouldn't be the last, it has been proven before by another person who stressed the network for days and even claimed that it didn't cost him much EOS to do it so I hardly think it's something that was done by EOS competition just to make a point, yes the airdrop might just be to make a point about scalability but lately even EOS developers has not been bragging about the scalability if the network because it has been proven in the recent past that it's false.

If there was a foolproof way to eliminate scans, it would have been much better, while the SEC are doing their best in the security tokens sector, there are no governing bodies that would ensure that Cryptocurrency projects stay in line, what most of them do is just to pretend that they are hard at work until investors lose interest and then they gradually fade away from the public eye, even old and established project are joining this trend lately and the latest is HPB.

Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token

This is just another joke by a chronic joker and if anybody still takes this guy serious after a stunt like this, then they really need to have their heads examined.

Let me see.. he wants to create a useless token, in other words create money out of thin air, then list it in his exchange and hope that people should buy it, so if Epstein didn't kill himself, then people are definitely gonna kill their money if they invest in this idea.

Re: New token project and support make new app
by

During the ICO boom, many projects were able to raise a lot of capital with just a fancy whitepaper but time has chnged and investors tend to search for results first before investing in any project and one of the ways to show seriousness is to launch your product before trying to rais funds, this is why Manny projects tend to have apps before launching their fundraising, although it increases their chances of success, it doesn't guarantee it.

Cryptocurrencies aims to be the future of payments and when reversible coins and transactions are implemented, it will lose it's integrity, for example, imagine getting paid for a service and after completing the service, your payment is reversed and you end up having nothing, this totally defeats the fundamentals of blockchain technology.

Instead of sending your funds to a pool like this that is centrally held, there are other less risky ways to circumvent the KYC issues especially for those that don't want to risk their identities falling into the hands of crooks, one of those ways is to pay people to do the procedure for you, there are services that does this, this way you can control your own funds.

Forkdelta is a decentralised exchange and anybody can set any price they feel comfortable with, if it's a great if token, you will see very good prices for large quantities but if it's a shitcoin without liquidity, you are likely to see the kind of discrepancy that you mentioned.

Re: Have you ever invested in an ICO?
by
Bravext
on 09/09/2019, 21:39:07 UTC
I have only ever invested in an ICO in my life and although it ended well (15x), it took almost a year for the token to get listed in an exchange, which means that my ICO funds got tied down for a year, after that experience, IEOs has already become the rage if the moment.
