Any chance I could get a copy of the src?  Im a C# developer by trade and could possibly help out or at the very least educate myself further about the intricacies of mining with this...

I like the idea but my only concern is keeping the room private.  I think in free (as far as they know) games outsiders may be able to sit at the table and disrupt the games.  how do we keep them private and secure from non-paying outsiders?

Also, you'll likely find you get better results with Phoenix with the phatk kernel on that card.

I also suggest using the Phoenix Rising front-end, to enable reconnect when idle, and also failover when primary pool is down.

Agreed..  Phoenix is faster than poclbm on 5xxx and 6xxx cards. try these flags to start -   BFI_INT VECTORS -k phatk AGGRESSION=12

another possible cause would be if u have 2 cards in the system with one not having a monitor... in my case the extra card was disabled until a monitor or dummy plug was inserted.   it would show in device manager properly but not be useable in guiminer. with some good tacos.

Look : if I am mining with pool xyz and there is a technical issue I want to raise to the pool operator, or if I found a bug in the bitcoin client and I want to report it, or if I am wanting to do business in the market forum, how am I going to do that now?
Unless you prove to us that you know the basics, you'd just be wasting those people's time. Don't worry, we can help you here.

Ah, its possible to prove knowing the basics!

So what you want to hear?

I am totaly fine with Slush scoring-system cause it prevent me setting up a poolswitching tool - i cant let anyone cheat on me.

I localised my wallet and made my first backup.
I tried phoenix and must say, phatk bring me 219 MHash/s on my 5770 but 4K more temp, using poclbm i get 211. Each @1000 MHZ.

What want you hear? Smiley

Good enough for me. I'll pass it along in my next whitelist update.

Damn If i had known it was that easy i wouldve stopped talking about tacos a long time ago!!

My rigs include an older box with 2 4850's running poclbm - tried phoenix but even with phatk and VECTORS i got slightly less than poclbm.. getting a total of about 150MHS

other rig (the one im typing on) has a 5830 running phoenix w/ these flags - BFI_INT VECTORS -k phatk AGGRESSION=12  pushing a nice 294MHS on 985core/800mem

I agree, if btc continues to grow the way it is now, we will see a "noob friendly" system in that time.  BTC is going to be known as a historical game changer for online retailers in the future.

Amazon will never accept bitcoin. See paypal declared bitcoin as illegal already. (OK paypal is expected to be deeply routed to the government, but most of the global players are)

U cant use paypal as an argument to apply to amazon because amazon doesnt accept, nor is affiliated with paypal.  go eat some tacos and ponder the meaning of BTC.

You wont be able to send bitcoins untill you have generated 50 shares in a bitcoin pool.

 Smiley

You wont be able to eat tacos until your sister has eaten 50 tacos in a taco pool?

I should not be so scared! And any suggestion, please, should I just buy back? feel like a huge loss for me!

I think the recent correction turned into a irrational broader panic, im not suggesting you should borrow against your mortgage to buy. But you may miss a big opportunity if you don't get back on before tuesday.

yes we seem to be back on a decent rally atm.  I just spent my taco money on another coin.

I suppose its more of a systemic yoyo effect than what seemed like a bigger outage at first.   I shouldve eaten more tacos.

panic selling never did anyone any good, except recouping a small portion of their losses.

Best to eat a taco to ponder your commitment to your investment before panic selling.   and diversify. always diversify.  buy some silver.  and tacos.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE VALUE OF A GOOD TACO!!

Sooo.... BTC prices going waay down, and restrictions to forums? Now thats 2 things that ruined my morning... Sad

Even though i agree with the topic of this post, I will state that BTC prices are now on the rebound and almost $17 again.   nothing wrong with that!

maybe blocking out the 1 post doomsayers wasnt such a bad idea afterall..    there may still yet be a better way of achieving that goal though.

Yes i did just contradict myself but thats just how i think.  the price rebound is good evidence that the new policy isnt all bad.

now I must go eat a taco and ponder the meaning of BTC

My best advice would be to step away and eat a taco.  When you come back all should be well.

+1  Grin

it can take up to 3 hours...

That'd be one hell of a taco!!!  sign me up!   om nom nom

There is a slight delay involved.  Im not familiar with mybitcoin.com but transfers to mtgox.com take only a few minutes to be completed/confirmed
