Re: Why is the US election vote going so slowly?
by

Never in my life have I seen the vote counting suddenly stopped in the middle of it, then all of sudden, all of the Trump leads in the remaining states started diminishing at a rapid pace. That seems very fishy to me.

Re: What are they hiding from us?

I'm not very knowledgeable with this, but is it possible for the price of things to go back to the way they were in the past?

For example, in the 90s a quarter was very convenient. You could buy potato chips, play a game in the arcade. Just take one coin out and that was awesome. Now potato chips requires two quarter (and bring less) and that's just not as convenient. It's something that I'm always thinking about when I do buy a bag of potato chips. That convenience of one quarter versus two.

I think that an ever growing strain is being put on natural resource. Including meat, crops, etc. I remember back in 1999 that the world population was 5 billion, and that felt like so much. Now it's twice as much. That's a major problem.

Re: Average savings across the globe

I'm around $5,000 in debt, started using credit cards to keep my money in Crypto. Didn't have a job, so that should lower the average a bit. But I'm getting there and hopefully in a few months I could start saving again. As far as the coins I have, they're pretty much worthless. Not even enough volume for anything.
This is really sad to know that you are in debt of such a big amount. If you have a collection of useless coins, I will suggest you to sell them off or simply get rid of them and try to earn bitcoin or worthy altcoins that have nice history of profits. You shall also search for some day job. Try working at some restaurant, in office etc. in order to at least earn something that you can invest into big coins and make money.

Yeah, it is pretty sad, but I learned my lesson. I do have a crappy job and I try to put $100 a week into Bitcoin. I do have many crappy coins, but they are literally not worth the time and effort. The time would be better spent working an extra hour here and there, or not taking a lunch break.

What percentage of the population would be into dirty panties? One in say 2 million. You would go your whole life without ever coming across such a person. But if you go to the only place that such a person can get such an item, then it will make it seem as though there are a lot of them.

Re: How to prevent fraud?
by

You can't really avoid it. Even if you're a person with a high IQ it's just impossible to plan for every possible way that you can get hit. Experience helps a lot, but in order to gain that experience you have to be a victim.
trading requires very high patience because if you can't control the patience you have then you will often experience a lot of losses and all you have to remember is that trading has a very high risk.

Well, I think the topic is more about fraud, not actual trading. There's no fraud in trading. It's just right and wrong decisions.

Is cloud mining specifically made for cryptos, or is it like an Amazon computer service, for example?

Re: Must all Crypto project create its own coin ?
by
BronxCats
on 14/01/2019, 23:16:18 UTC
Been Asking Myself must all Project create its own coin or is it a thing of pride this day to say I have my own coin

come to think of it some project finds it hard to be able to get there coin to any value because thousand of projects are coming up by the day people literally get confused on which to choose.

There is project out there already doing well with one thing still lacking real use of the coin in the real world daily activities that mean -
most coins are just traded as an asset!!

I think some project can just implement its solution and using the already existing cryptos as currencies by that way helping adoption.
the hassle of creating from the scratch to me is not all necessary for some project!!

if you looking at the mode of payment for your service you can simply accept already existing coin and go into a partnership with them
create a system to see that crypto have a healthy growth cycle not just having millions of project and at the end millions of dead project

better the whole system creates like a support system to retain its value for the long run... Long Live Crypto

what you all think

That really right there is the problem. The main lack of motivation from me in terms of researching. So many coins pop up everyday that no matter what they bring, you just feel that they're going be lost in the sea of coins. I could find a crypto with an amazing idea, and forget about it in a couple of day, because it's competing in my mind with so many others.

I also think that it has to do with manipulators. You called them idiots, but what they really are selfish assholes. They don't care if you go broke, else they would have a conscious about what they do. And if they did, then others in their position wouldn't.

Hopefully the market evolves to the point where they won't have as much of an effect.

Twelve Bitcoin back then was close to $220,000. Hopefully you did not put that money towards alt coins (unless it was one that performed really well and moon.)

We really can't predict the future, how things will be have, especially while something is at an all time high. In hindsight converting those Bitcoins into cash, and then buying alts now would have been a lot better.

Oh so we got some announcement, nice. A new exchange maybe... or they're just changing the rules for airdrops again Smiley The last time it was a new website if I recall correctly, or an updated wallet or something like that Smiley

They said that it's going to be massive news. Unless it's one of those big exchanges like Poloneix or Binance, I don't think it's going to be a new exchange. Maybe they're going to have someone join the team. A well known name in the cripto world.

more exchanges will definitely cement PriVCY into the Privacy crypto-currency market for good, we need back up markets just in case something happens to the only exchange we have.
I'm sure they will happen of course the Devs are very much on the ball here.

We will be on more exchanges eventually. We just need to be patient. Right now the price is not too important. At least not for me since I don't plan on selling them.

I think it is risky to put your private key in such cloud based services because you truly don't know if a rogue employee could snoop around the files. Though since it's extremely unlikely, until you find an alternative I think it's better than not having it backed up at a different location at all.
