The difficulty is greatly reduced!!! Embarrassed  The force has dropped considerably

Good time to mine then, especially before the block rewards drop off a cliff in a few days.
Yup, I'm mining untill blick 30k, then we'll see if the price will adjust)

Are there many people buying?
 Smiley
Looking at the price - not too many))

Not many?? 51 BTC today of daily volume, and listed only in Cryptopia is not that bad at all!
I could be better then that) but let's see how it goes once we're listed on bittrex)

Lol. What is this coin for? The links just describe it as a fair GPU mined coin. No other significant purpose other than being a coin to be mined.
Why will anyone use and adopt this coin? No reason = dead coin in a few months. Good luck.

inSIGT = (inSIGnificanT)
There should be some BIG announcement tomorrow, I hope it's not just a website update)) othervice I will agree with you))

No minimum is great, 5% yearly will be a good profit! Planning to buy 10.000 coins.
It all depends on the price really... if it stays like this, I wouldn't bother to setup PoS

How many Signatums are needed to run full node when it's POS?

No minimum, you will get an annual 5% reward (paid daily) for any amount in your wallet

% 5 DAILY ?
to my understanding, 5% yearly paid daily... so you will get a small percentage daily that will equal 5% yearly Smiley
I really like that you don't need to lock your tokens for a long time to be eligible for payouts

That's nice to know. I hope it gets offered on other exchanges soon.

Decentralized Silkroad is such a great idea! Smiley

Doubt that it will be a fork , but the new logo looks fucking great!
I hope the new logo isn't the only BIG thin)) I kinda like the current one

Current one is ok but this is more modern (still shows the fingerprint)

))

I just hope it's not a fresh start or some fork shit. WP stands for whitepaper probably, but what's the hype, it has been released already...

Maybe whitepaper + site overhaul and some partnerships :O

Well , we will see in not so long I am excited for sure ))

Honestly, I don't think this project can get too far, unless they launch some decentralized Silk Road right in their wallet software)))

That would be a cool idea haha
If they would do that, and let people usre SIGT only for purchases, we all would be a millionaires))))

Nice project. Does anybody know when can we expect signatum to hit big exchanges like poloniex or bittrex? I will not sell it jet but it will be nice to have it on big exchange
I don't expect it to be listed on Polo anytime soon, they can barely handle their system running with the coins they have listed till now, but bittrex shouldn't be long..

My line of thinking is basically that this is still a very virginal industry. I'm completely unconvinced that Zcash or Monero are better or more secure. All altcoins are yet equally to stand test of time... for that reason it makes sense to enter into equal amount of risk at a much lower entry price than at a much higher entry price. A couple of years from now we will know which altcoin had the most amount of bag holders - and I think we will all be very surprised - any one of them could have a ton of surprises up their sleeve.

At worst I will only lose $100 worth of electricity with Signatum, what a travesty Smiley

As for people claiming that Monero or Zcash is better, more secure and so on - that's what they all say... nobody knows that yet.

As for dumping this coin, it's just dumping it into another crypto - and how do you know it's better? I think even the best cryptographers would find it difficult to make a deep risk assessment of one crypto currency over another - they are all at the same level right now.

Look at QRL project, those guys are really thinking 10 steps ahead, mainnet launch in sep/oct,  if signatum won't rise by then, I will sell it in favor of QRL
QRL is maybe a good project on the paper, but I all I've seen until now is a internal war (classical ICO : we take the money then we fight, and we don't give a fuck about people who invested in) and a classical PoS test, nothing that can change the game so far. Also I am a little sceptical when I heard the word "quantum resistant". Hope things will go on a better way from now.

That's not true, they hired a social media manager 1 month before ICO, he got greedy and demenfed 33% of all funds, got fired, got upset and used social media to justify his hit article on medeum, devs didn't touch ICO funds yet, founderbis financings the project out of his pocket

Why is nobody here willing to provide an explanation of the core value proposition of this coin?
Because there is none.. I mine this coin, but just to dump it at the right time, I don't see anything special in this coin)

Hi, I having trouble getting my miner(sig-miner) setup to run right. Windows 10. have 5x R9 390's only getting 2mh/s on each.
Bat file:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer -k skunkhash -o stratum+tcp://sigt.suprnova.cc:7106 -u XXXXXXXX -p XXXXXXXXXX -I 20

Any help would be appreciated..... Also does it matter what drivers Im using. (15.12 Crimson). I did update drivers but same issue...

This is suited more for Nvidia GPU's rather than AMD. It may be that your R 390x's are just too outdated (Please correct me if I am wrong).
People have also reported that their RX470/480 is only giving them 5 -10mh per card.
Might be worth sticking to Ether or something else that uses suitable algo.

No need to overclock the memory, If you'll downcloack it to 1400-1500, you'll get the same result with less power consumption
HI guys

xfx 480 8gb Core clock:1320 Memory: 2200   18.03Mh/s
msi 480 8gb Core clock:1266 Memory: 2150   17.18Mh/s

I 20

BIOS moddified for ETH

My R9 390 and R9 390x gives me about 9Mh/s each so I left them to eth

4 x ASUS OC top ed 580 8GB  Core: 1411 Mem: 2090     19.8Mh/s
2 x MSI Aorus 580 8GB          Core: 1350 Mem: 2150     18.8Mh/s

I 20 - Any higher is unstable

BIOS modded for ETH @ 28.6Mh/s

Total hash 6cards 116Mh/s

ASUS OC Top ed is by far the best 580 I've used (compared to MSI & Gigabyte) and Currently I mine about 20-24 coins per hour which @ $0.02 per coin is about $10.5 p.d. compared to 162Mh/s with ETH and mining approx $9 p.d.

I'm pretty sure R9 XXX cards are not supported on this miner as they are "too old" for this new algo.

You can directly from sent to exchange, on account of the pool can fill in the exchange of prepaid SIGT address, set a fixed quantity, such as mining and reach the confirmation, the pool will be automatically sent to the exchange, simple and convenient. Of course you can send to wallet first, then send to exchange.

https://imgur.com/a/atuow

That's different. They are warning you to NOT MINE directly to your exchange address.
When you use a pool, they "store" your mined coins until either you transfer them out or it is above the auto transfer limit.
That is not the same as mining and you can perfectly put an exchange address in the pool's payment address.
Depends on exchange setup, some exchanges like suprnova have their wallet where you can temporary store your coins until autopayout or you decide to transfer them manually, some pools like Nanopool will transfer your coins directly to the address you setup in your bat file once your funds reach auto peyout minimum, which can be lower then exchanges minimum deposit, which coases some issues

with rx 580 you can play with your core voltage, basically start from adding 20-30 mv to your core, add 10 mv untill you see no difference in performance, put your core voltage on minimum and power limit at around -15%(undervolted card is much cooler and more efficient) you can downcloack your memory, for this algo you don't have to overclock your memory, set it at 1500 or even 1400, bios mod tutorials can be found on youtube, good luck!
