I have been using this software since the beta, and i simply love it. But i hope one day that they would make dedicated apps for windows/linux, when running the windows client long time on windows it kinda uses lots of ressources. But i stil love the software, and i have 2 licenses  Grin
Don't forget MAC! Yes, it would be nice. The issue isn't truly with the OS or the code. One of those instances where we all share the love. It would have been impossible to have this big of a footprint on three platforms without an underlying coding platform like QT with a small IT shop. Crypto was just getting started and very risky. It took people with a keen understanding of markets and steel balls.

Hoping that an explanation might smooth the waters as it did for me after I was told the story.

The main issue is memory caching and memory management. Not a huge issue with linear or tabular data. But throw in all sizes of object data, then it is down to the language and the platform. Yes some OS's manage memory better than others as well. If you've been around that long then you'll have noticed things getting faster and more stable with fewer memory issues. The more refined QT gets as it ages, the better off things will be.

My remote server runs on Linux and I've really experienced many positive changes over the years.

Have fun with it, margin is getting better all the time!

I believe you only need 1  strategy to do what you ask. Here I have a strategy setup with 4 levels, the buy levels are $60 apart, the percentage of eff profit is 1%
I have the program set to add profit to allocated funds.
When I hit start it puts 4 buys out. Then as the buy takes place a sell order is created. After the sell order is filled it adds the reciprocal buy order adding in the profit to the buy order and thus the sell order and around we go.

The bottom picture is not showing off, the outcome is indicative of properly run scale strategies. Mind you this is also a very good market.

How did you do it?Making continooues order under one strategy?
and this "After the sell order is filled it adds the reciprocal buy order"...
IS there an option for that somewhere that I am missing? Thanks,

I was away when the question was asked and missed this.

It is the Scale Strategy Bot that has this behavior.

I've looked at the scalebot video and I think it does what I want but I'd like a confirmation.

I trade BTC-EUR on Kraken. My goal is to profit from any move up or down, increasing either my BTC stash or EUR stash. At the moment all the orders are layered by hand, which is time consuming, and if there is a move while I'm sleeping or doing something, I can miss some trades. When BTC goes up, I sell at some interval, then when it goes down, I buy back, with about 1% profit. I also do the reverse, it BTC goes down, I buy, then sell when it goes up.

With one scalebot in sell mode and one in buy mode, I should be able to do the same, right ?

Notice We will introduce a subscription option alongside lifetime license options from next week. Our lifetime license options will become more expensive so if someone is thinking about purchasing a license and hasn't already, it would be wise to do so before Monday. Nothing will change for our existing customers. Head over to margin.de to learn more what the margin trading terminal can do for you!

Thanks! I grabbed the last version 16 days ago and it has been working great!

Currently have a Lifetime License for a Standard Account in Margin.DE

Problem is that I quit trading for 2 good years and now want to sell my margin.de account

Is it fine to ask for permission here?
You'd be best served by writing to support@margin.de directly.

Contract and consolidate. My two words of the week. I spent 6 hours over the last week dumping shitcoin. Last evening I was on an exchange that had over 20 buy walls, this was what was being done to reduce the value of tokens 8-10x. A year ago I saw multi-million dollar buy/sell walls on another exchange that ran for over two weeks, I dropped it two nights ago.

Figured if I wanted a better ROI, I better raise my standards and start using the information at hand. ie. https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/

If we all do it, cryptotrading will become more rewarding for all of us.

Happy Trading!

Huge opportunity for Crypto right now. After the Santa Rally things settled back down. But I think it is all in the timing. Stocks are at a 15 month low, if there should happen to be a crypto rally of 30% on today's rates which is not unheard of, it would once again have a lot more people looking this direction. I believe the floor has been met, it doesn't need to go any lower and indeed it dare not as the infrastructure is being threatened now.

This past week I closed out at 5 exchanges to better focus on exchanges in the top 20. The increased prices on the exchanges with more volume more than made up for exchange rates. Only Poloniex is on shaky ground while they decide if they are going to cancel open orders when they do maintenance. If they do they are gone, like Bittrex. Binance, HitBTC and Kraken have not shirked their responsibilities by canceling long positions.

In the last 24 hours all the talking heads have clamored that BTC will regain 4,500 all the way up to 6,000.

So prepare, I believe that using margin's EMA strategy the market does not really have to go up, just the smooth continual undulation of the prices should suffice.

I'm off to enjoy Christmas with family and friends.

Merry Christmas!

I had felt the volumes had been getting very mushy since the middle of January, turns out there may be some math behind it indicating that more than a few exchanges have been playing with the numbers. So if you are seeing double and triple buys/sells where you think the volume should handle it (except spot buy/sells), maybe you are on a exchange that is "adjusting" their volume amounts.

ref.
https://news.bitcoin.com/study-finds-3b-worth-of-faked-cryptocurrency-volumes-and-wash-trades/

In my opinion, I believe there is validity in the article but it does come off as a low ball pro-Binance ad. Another thing is it casts Poloniex which is currently problematic in itself and Bittrex (who has slid 6 positions in the last week)  in the same light.

"The study also looked at exchanges like Bittrex, Hitbtc, and Binance against “respectable” exchanges." -Without explanation or back story, which comes off as a paid-for op-ed by zc.

At any rate I am glad someone is looking at the numbers, hopefully someone else will come a long and "fact check" them.  I had a feeling..

Perhaps I need to buy the software...
You've come this far, you owe it to yourself to at least download leonArdo and run it in demo mode.
