Usage examples:
1) Bitcoing Gold
Code:
miner --algo 144_5 --pers BgoldPoW --server eu.btgpool.pro --port 1445 --user YOUR_BITCOING_GOLD_WALLET.rigName --pass x
2) ZERO
Code:
miner --algo 192_7 --pers ZERO_PoW --server zer-eu.forgetop.com --port 2052 --user YOUR_ZERO_WALLET.rigName --pass x
3) Failover pool
Code:
miner --algo 144_5 --pers BgoldPoW --server eu.btgpool.pro --port 1445 --user YOUR_BITCOING_GOLD_WALLET.rigName --pass x --server btg.2miners.com --port 4040 --user YOUR_BITCOING_GOLD_WALLET.rigName --pass x

I've got 2 questions. First, any numbers on P104-100 (For Beam specifically)? And second, can we expect an AMD optimization for RX cards in the next version?

New miners:
- gminer-v1.42 (Improved performance for BEAM (Equihash 150,5) on RTX cards. Fixed performance regression on GTX 1080 Ti)
Hey, I just updated to this miner and my cards are not overclocking, they're mining at base clock. I think it happened when I changed miner, but it seems odd it's not accepting the overclocks, any help would be really apreciated.

Thanks to community member if you will answer of my above questions ?

Here is a wild and crazy idea.

Why don't you try it out, and report back on your results.

What say you ?

EDIT: And just so I don't look like a hypocrite.

Single 1080ti. +10% memory overclock. Fans set to high.

Stats at f2pool since I started mining there a couple days ago.

2 1080 Ti and 4 1070 with 125 on the core, 300 on memory (except one bad 1070) and 200W/120W for 1080 Ti/1070, in case it helps anyone.

Hey, I'm really confused over the wallet, I don't own anything apple and I'm clueless regarding Linux. So far I've been mining on F2pool and storing my earnings there, but it's a temporary solution. How long before a windows (and please GUI) wallet is released?

Hey @tytanick, I've been mining Monero with a 6 card rig (3 nanos, 2 fury x, 1 fury) since Monero change it's algo to v7, I was using Claymore, so I tried the other options, XMR-stak gave me 200 h/s per card, XMRig didn't work. Is there a way to configure XMR-stak without the config.txt? Am I having driver issues because support for older cards seems to be gone from the OS images options? I wasn't making much money, but it was my most stable rig and it's a shame not being able to use it, please help?

I forgot to say, if there are no driver/OS issues, would you post the configs for XMR-stak and XMRig that should work for these cards? I'm just really lost regarding this :/

Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN)
by
CallMeTomas
on 29/06/2018, 17:20:28 UTC
I think Raven is stagnant and now falling because it has become a coin too big to be solely on Crypto Bridge. The buyers absolutely dominate, it's very frustrating since I've been mining since late March and thousands of dollars of equipment dedicated on Raven, but I don't see it growing. Has any developer made a pitch to Bittrex, Bitfinex or Cryptopia? Even Binance, RVN just broke into the top 100 on Coin Market Cap, it's not a secret cool coin anymore, but in Crypto Bridge buyers own the game because it's a low value coin and miners can only get so much. Anyone sees this too?

CPU mining with Xeons, what's profitable right now?
by
CallMeTomas
on 30/05/2018, 17:57:29 UTC
Recently I got 3 Haswell Xeons very cheap, a 12 core and 2 14 cores, at first I was going with XMR but there have been so many hard forks on cryptonight-type coins that I'm no longer sure, I've heard Sumokoin is good on CPUs but I know nothing about it, and also other algorithms. Is there a WhatToMine for CPUs? I know it's a pretty noob question but I'm a total noob regarding CPUs so, worth asking. Thanks in advance!

Checked with Control Panel-Programs and features what was the latest program to have been installed and the intel driver was among them. Also erased everything windows update did, but I don't think that did anything.

Not anymore, I started looking at what the fuck Windows downloaded and it was an Intel video driver that was blocking Claymore. SO glad I don't have to learn to use the others, not all the adderall in the world would allow me to understand those configs. Hope it helps!

mining MONERO v7 since a while with no issues.

Today I updated windows 10, and I noticed that my miners are mining with half of their power.

Anyone faced the same problem? Do you have a solution?

Thx
Same here, stupid me forgot to kill windows update, and after a random update the miner went to shit. I'm looking for alternatives at this point.

Are we losing a lot or only Zcash?
by
CallMeTomas
on 09/05/2018, 22:48:33 UTC
I haven't done enough research to make a point, so I wanted to ask, what's the status of the equihash coins regarding ASIC? Zcash, Zclassic, Zencash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Private, BitcoinZ, Komodo, Hush, Snowgem. We need to know the position of every single one, from Snowgem to Bitcoin Gold, because if my observations are correct, all that the equihash ASIC is taking from us is Zcash, which, pardon for those who like it, but I consider it a shitcoin, it has been improved twice with both coins reaching it's market cap level and just fuck their founder's reward. Asics can have it as far as I'm concerned, is that all that we're losing?

Well that escalated quickly..

Anyway, it seems like us miners can't get a break. ETH value has tanked and those who weren't able to sell at the highs are now forced to hodl. No shitmain has released an ASIC and is hiding more powerful ASICs but ETH devs don't give a shit. To add to that, electricity cost at where i'm mining at is about to increase. What now. Lol.

He can totally say that with no trouble, it's not like there are at least 3-4 superior projects based on the algorithm that will maintain ASIC-ressistance and are more profitable to mine, it's not like the guy is taking a 20% of al- ...what?

From what I've heard the hashrate will be combined with the price, it barely competes with an optimized rig, I mean it's nothing like other ASICs, which I guess makes sense since Ethereum relies on memory speed, and using that massive amount of DDR3 doesn't seem very cost effective (I mean, why didn't they use DDR4)
Also the only confirmed Eth ASIC I've seen is really lackluster
