I have two questions, I hope some of you can help me:
- First one, Are the Beta blockchain drivers still the best ones for mining?, or they have been included in the latest drivers with support for more gpus?.
- I am having troubles disabling crossfire on one rig where I just installed the blockchain drivers (with ddu uninstallation before it), when I disable it the rig hangs, get a bsod and restarts, any of you have got this problem?, how do you solved it?, my other rig has no crossfire option (strange) so is working fine.

Hi:

In my experience dual mining consume more power and stress more the GPUs, you could need to increase a little your voltage if you are undervolting around 875-925 mV, check the log file for the GPU that hangs, then add 10mV at first to the settings of that GPU, keep trying until you get no hangs for 24 hours, you could decrease you clocks too, I am guessing here that you are using a modded GPU.

If there is no hanging in the log file then it must be the power supply.

Thank you, but I know that, I am using them, that's why my question, I want to specify in these files settings for different workers as this files are synced across several Rigs through the cloud.

I found this on the README file: "You can also use environment variables in "epools.txt", "dpools.txt" and "config.txt" files. For example, define "WORKER" environment variable and use it as "%WORKER%" in config.txt or in epools.txt.", I want to know more about this, how to use this option.

I tested it on my Part Time Gaming PC / Miner Rig / Tester Rig, everything is working great: 3.5% more MH/s while decred dual mining, on my RX580 (29.5MH/s) and RX560 (14.15MH/s) cards, voltage set on miner, undelrvolt ok, overclock ok, temp control ok, power consumption seems to be at the same levels, I must confirm with more time. The PC is more unstable but I guess it's due the beta drivers. I will begin installation on my Mining Rigs tomorrow.

I have only one question, What are environment variables in "epools.txt", "dpools.txt" and "config.txt" files?, Can use them to define different pools or variables for several workers on the same file, I cant found information about it.

P.S.: Anyone has tried gaming on these drivers?, I have two SSDs on this PC, one for tests and one for gaming, so far I always have installed everything that works on the test SSD to the main one, this time I have my doubts.

Any idea why one of my rigs is mining EXP (not dual)?, exact same cards as in the other one which is mining KRB... I would like both of them mining EXP (or ETH or MUSIC or whatever) + DCR, I accept one mining KRB but why only EXP?.

How it works?. I'm losing $0.50/day versus KBR, and more vs dual mining.

I have started using your combo program (dashboard, revenue analyzer, switcher, miners, pool, & exchange  ) a couple of days ago, so far it has been an exciting experience, it's good, a lot of future, I would like to understand a little better how it works, and I will report a couple of problems I have had.

I have been trying it on my Gaming PC/Part Time Miner, Core i5-7500+RX580 8GB+RX560 4GB, I could use it on my mining Rigs, and recommend it to my Gaming Community, but I need to solve the following.

First my doubts:
- How do you calculate the revenue per day and I guess the currently mined coin?, I mean, do you consider the current price?, do you sell the coins at that price upon reaching certain amount?/or time?.

Problems:
- Only minor ones now, major ones got solved before I finished this message.
- WinMIner.com Live Dashboard got offline message if not used after a while, I have to open again the window from the program.
- GPUs do not start to work in some occasions, they stay idle when restarted after stopping the mining process to do some other thing, I will try to get the cause and report back.

Ideas:
- As some have already suggested, dcri control and voltage control are critical, my RX580 needs a 38 dcri and my RX560 a 24 dcri, so they are not working at their best now while mining EXP.
- I usually undervolt my cards on the Miner, now I am using AB with WinMiner, with the RX580 the OC is ok, the undervolt only reachs -96mV, so its running hot or/and noisy now, the RX560 is not usually a problem as it doesn't consume too much power, but it can not be undervolted on AB and if OC it never reaches the specified clocks, so I got only 2 MH/s, maybe a driver, AB version, etc., problem, but anyway, it could be great to add a way to control dcri, voltage and clocks in WinMiner, obviously while keeping it friendly for any casual Miner/Gamer.

Sorry, it seems I was not clear enough, my systems disabled my card, I couldn't low or up anything, its solved now, I installed 17.4.4 drivers ran atkmdag-patcher and 14,2 MH/s dual mining+decred =).

Thank you very much. I have modified all the settings in AB, unlocked Voltage control, extended official OC, unlocked unofficial, etc. still the limit is -100 (real -96), do you mean the post about modifiying the Registry?, that is different to the settings in AB?.

OK, I reach the same Hashrate than pasting the 1750 strap to the 2000 strap, in that case I can reach 2100 MHz, with 2100 MHz with Uber-mix I get a better Hashrate but its not stable.

How can I get 900 mV in the Core Clock?, its not possible with Afterburner.

Great guide, thx very much, one question, I have already pasted the uber mix on the 1750 and 2000 straps, I have an Asus ROG Strix RX580 O8G with samsung memory, the problem is I can not overclock the memory over 2050 MHz, it hangs my pc, it happens on Claymore, 3DMark and StarCraft 2.

I'm using in AB:
Core Voltage -96mV
CC 1360MHz and 1160MHz (Claymore)
MC 2050MHz

Should I mod the voltages in the bios for it to work fine?, if that's the case I don't get it yet, how must I do it?, for the Memory Voltage seems easy, Core Voltages not so much.

So far I have reduced Voltage -96 mV, increased GPU Clock Speed to 1400MHz and Memory Clock Speeds to 2200MHz, I keep reading about that 1750=>2000 "thing", I understand it can be done flashing the bios, so if I understand it ok, there is nothing else I can do to improve my MH/s but to flash the bios, 27.5MH/s is the Top I can get with AfterBurner?.

As a lot of messages I have seen here, I will start stating that I'm new here and new in mining, I started mining on friday, so far great, I have learnt a lot.

Right now I am mining with only 3 ASUS STRIX RX580 8GB OC, I have reduced the GPU clock in 5% and increased the memory clock speed to 2200 MHz, I have got 27.4 MH/s from 24.5MH/s, all this in AMDs Wattman, I had problems with the Asus Aura Light Effects, it seems it mess with the MH/s fluency, It is off and uninstalled now.

I have read about some widely known power adjustments, I understand the idea is to reduce voltage, so reduce power consumption, and increase memory clock speed, so increase MH/s, I have read too about doing it with AMDs Wattman or MSIs AfterBurner, and about bios flashing.

Knowing many has been able to get 29MH/s and 135 Watts of power from this cards, my questions so far are the following:

- There is need to flash a new bios to get the best performance?, if so, how many MH/s could I get?, or power reduction?.
- If I can get similar improvements with AMDs Wattman, which are the parameters I must use?.
