We are working on a whitepaper, a technical one and a non technical one and they will be released soon. Please understand that these papers need time to be written so they are clear and easy to understand for everyone.
Pls explain it to me in plain English - current carbon coin will be abandoned and you will make new chain with brand new carbon coins, leaving us with pockets full of OFFICIALLY dead coin?

The above says that there will be a new chain allowing for a full feature set to include smart contracts because it will benefit everyone on the network to have these features.
Old coins will be exchanged for new coins.
The value of Carboncoin is in the custom security features and the user base, both of these will be carried forward into the new technology, with the fundraising greatly increasing what we can achieve and the speed with which we can achieve it.
We have been discussing this move at length for some time and these discussions concluded without exception that this is a step in the right direction. Please explain your reasoning behind the above claims.
Well sorry for not understanding your original message. If you wrote: We will make carbon coin 2.0, old coins will be changed at ratio that is yet to be decided". That would be more helpful, as now you can see that I was not alone that did not understand your original message ... Anyway gj keep it going and my sincere apologies
Yes, in very simple terms, there will be Carboncoin 2.0 and you can swap your old coins for new coins. No coins will be lost.
Misunderstandings are common, dont worry, most of us are not native speakers so its not easy to understand everything. You really need to get this coin to another exchange... My Carboin coin withdrawal is "frozen" for last 72h+ in Yobit. No reply from support and troll box admin is just ignoring my help request's. I want to buy more Carbon but I do not dare to try it in this Exchange anymore ....

I saw Yobit volume it's very good BTC 2.48, last days there are many people buy Carboncoin.

We are still negotiating a few things, including the staking feature to get people to keep their wallet open.
Currently Carboncoin is just traded on yobit and Bittrex seems to be the exchange which is most interesting in the short term, but we also do need to fullfill certain requirements as well as have funding to get on there and we are working on that while reoganising the structure of the Carboncoin project.
Would you guys prefere a slack channel or discord?
We are still negotiating a few things, including the staking feature to get people to keep their wallet open.

Me and my team have recently joined the Carboncoin team and will be talking over some of the tasks of the project, that being:
- Redesign of the Website to get our message across easier
- We will create a whitepaper for the public and potential investors with a more detailed explanation on how we will go about Carboncoin and how it translates to planting trees
- The official forum of Carboncoin will be reactivated to support conversations between people and collect ideas how to further incorporate Carboncoin to plant trees/save our planet
- There will be a shop where people can buy things, but we havent decided yet on what the items for sale are going to be
- We are in talks with FIAT investors to secure funding for future operations
- We are also investigating which of the exchanges are best for us to be on as we do not want this coin to lose credibility due to P&D
The coin is secure and stable and there wont be any coin swap nor ICO in the near future.

As me and my team are newish to the project it will take some time until these ideas and features are all implemented, so be patient - as mother earth is with us.
