As a very early backer, I too keep an eye on this coin and wish it well. Nice to see the market moving again today, a good bit of trading happening.
To add my view point, as a large holder, I of course would not like to see another coin released, it would be the laffing stock of the market.

Whats going on right now? I bought back in at 33, and now its dropped down to 28. We got to start making progress because this coin keeps sinking.
If you want to make a quick buck, sell your tips and go to doge or something else.
I got bored of constantly watching the markets for the last 12 months non stop, so I have sold all and invested into tips and put into cold storage for months and gaining some of my life back.
If it tips fails, I loose $3000, if it suceeeds I stand to gain $100k or more depending on the price of course. Yes I have alot of tips.

I'm really not sure if it's a good idea to use celebrity images for marketing without their permission.

Well' it's good for a "inside joke tweet" for a "possible viralness" I guess, but it's definitely not right way to approach celebrity if you want their approval. I don't know what is - never approached a celebrity.
But... if I'd need to, first of all, I would be extremelly nervous. Second, I'd contact their representatives via official channels and explain about crypto in a simplest words possible and would either:
a) offer an idea or a plan (approved and supported by altcoin community) of charity, which I'd know we could do
b) offer a story of an idea or a plan of charity, which was already executed
I talk about charity like I would in some KARMA thread, something related to the tipping might be more suitable here.
Explain also that this is a potential investment as a donation that may return x times in a year or so or may not, nothing gained nothing ventured, just generosity from the Fedora community. I am more than happy to throw in a few millions.

I have stepped out of this thread for a few days as it was getting a bit stupid and well like a grannies meeting.
Here is hoping this is a new dawn and the community can get behind the dev's on FedoraCoin.
You have a tough job with this lot
but I am sure your up to the challenge.
Now everyone else, please play nicely, remember these guys are doing the majority of the work on our behalves and that is me speaking as a large bag holder who of course would love to see this coin reach the potential it deserves.

Good post and tbh, probably what happened. Bad coding and poor book keeping lead to a massive hole that was eventually discovered and attempted to be covered up, but too late.

When open source platform is released, dev does not ask "permission" from developer because is O-P-E-N; this is absurd ... it is like if Fedora developer had to get "permission" when forking Litecoin. Ridiculous.

PS: I don't know what this guy is on about, but he isn't a mixing operator, or even related to the dev team in any way. It looks like he's giving people a list of his own addresses as "a list of mixing services" to try and scam people.
My advice: report and ignore.
Edit: if you're having trouble telling us apart just look at the posts user id, click the username in the post then check your address bar for the ID, mine should be 193414, accept no imitations!

Yesterday was very encouraging. Huge pump last night, but still settled in around 80 latoshi. Hopefully more good news coming with a btc pairing, and the return of invisibel. Held onto all my TiPS so far, which was tough when it shot to 124.

Just hold on to them. TIPS is a long term investment, prices are extremely low at the moment.

Get a trusted jewleller to do it and never give him or let him copy the key / phrase and make sure you are present when they do it.

A man's reach should exceed his grasp. If this was universally accepted as a tipping mechanism on YouTube we would all be rich.
There really is no limit to what this coin could do. We just need to develop additional uses.

All we would need to do is convince youtube posters to post a link to the site to TIP in video as they already do with links to other videos and links. Quite simple really.
Whether youtube would allow it is another question.

I think it's got to do with the recovery of bitcoin from the Mt Gox debacle.
Bitcoin has bounced back from 400 to 520, which in turn positively affects the altcoins as well.
Tips, being by far the coolest altcoin out there (as everyone knows), is of resuming its rise from the day before yesterday.
And it's slower than other alts, which imho shows that this is probably not a pump and dump, but a nice and steady rise.
Go tips, go !!!
