Re: 0.0049 BTC reward to find a specific pair of Nike shoes for less than £66.

Will it really get the reward, or will it join the other posts in never having to actually pay out to anyone before the heat death of the universe?

Depends how tight the guy who offered the bounty is. I think he will have to 'accept' the answer to released funds and he might just refuse to do it. I think forum escrows are best used for this sort of stuff.

I'm 1st level member on Fiverr. PM me if you need quality feedback.

isnt this basically the same as buying trust? i wouldnt participate in this guys. not a very honest deal

Yeah seems dishonest to me. You might get bad feedback on both here and fiver so I don't think its worth it or morally bright.

I think life is constantly teaching us things. It's how we grow. I think it has made me overly cynical but I think its wise not to trust people without good reason. There is also no such thing as Karma.

He doesn't need to lock it as he can move it there himself at the bottom of the thread or a mod will do it if you report it.

I didn't watch too many series except "prison break" it was a good one

They'll reshoot Prison Break. It will be interesting after all these years.

Prison Break went downhill after the second season. First two seasons were great though. Bringing it back seems silly but I guess it's all about the money. The main actors haven't exactly done much since either so I'm sure they're happy to jump back on board.

Nobody in their right mind would stay on this campaign as a Full Member when you get 0.0002 and bitmixer pays out 0.0007.

Re: Criminals (Thats what "non" Criminals called them ) are the base
by

Why does anyone care what bitcoinxt does? Let them fuck up their own intention.

Cryptocurrencies, fiat or other monetary instruments are just tools. Ideally they should work equally well for both criminals and non-criminals. Once you start building in features that would make it harder for the criminal-of-the-day to use the tool then becomes a piece of shit.

Exactly.
Take a screwdriver for example, just a normal tool in the hand of a non-criminal. Give it to a criminal and they use it to bust open the ignition when stealing a car. All depends on how it is used.

"Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right".

Nah. It can go up and down, or down down down. Then up again  Grin. I never pay attention to charts. I think it'll take between 2-5 years to achieve mainstream sucess though.

Bitcoin stress test coming in September, does he calculate that in?

I rather go with my Gut on the Price of BTC

Re: Use of smileys/emoticons

Well, if a reputed site hires me as a signature manager  Wink , or while sending PMs to a member here, or while making a post, is the use of emoticons or smileys considered appropriate?

Wanted to know how you guys think. Thanks Smiley

They're fine in some posts when they're needed but too many of them or liberal use can maker people seem a bit childish. I wouldn't use them when trying to do business unless the other person does first.

Interesting indeed but is it legit? Is there p[roof of gold reserves and this vault? Far too many scams around here and I think a lot of gold would be needed and could be problematic getting it shipped to people.

I watched a talk with Andreas earlier today and he said if we can buy or exchange it for things then it is money and I agree with him. People have used many things throughout history as a currency and bitcoin is just the next step of that.

I reckon it'll have a few ups and downs, have a massive spike up over 1k within a couple of years, stay there for a bit, then crash haha. I think bitcoin will either go fully mainstream within ten years or it'll be forgotten about as a fad of some sort.

Re: Bitcoin is NOT a currency debate!

Chavez

From all of the anti-bitcoin arguments against it not being a proper currency that i've heard (and trust me i've read TONS) im yet to see a single one that justifies such claim. Every single claims end up being a critique of how it lacks intrinsic value or how it lacks a proper marketcap to be less volatile, both already refuted.

Ok. Let me ask why do we want it to be a currency? Maybe you are looking for credibility? But if all the arguments or critique have already been refuted in your opinion why is bitcoin still only used for gambling and speculative trading and not as a currency? What's stopping it if it's such a panacea?

IF you can buy shit with it it s a currency. Why do we want it to be a currency? Because it's arguably the only fair and not corrupt one. Not sure where you get all that bitcoin is used for is trading or gambling either.

The first Episode of Mr. Robot was fantastic. I was sceptical because I don't like the actor how plays the first character we're introduced to.

What do you mean? I thought he was great. What didn't you like about him?

Merchant adoption and volatility is holding bitcoin back. There's just no real reason for most people to use bitcoin yet unfortunately. I fear it may always be a niche thing. Hope I'm wrong, though.

I'll be blunt. your "art" is one of the worst arts that I have ever seen in my life.

Lol. The picture is pretty weird. Is the torso that of a real naked woman and you just drew over it? Can't blame you for trying but I doubt you'll get any tips. Maybe offer your services on the marketplace here offering to draw crude things for coin. Someone might take you up. Someone was getting paid to draw a tree of dicks or something in ms paint so you never know.

Do you think that cryptocurrencies are religions?

No. It's nothing of the sort. Maybe they could offer us financial and economical salvation, though  Cheesy.
