Re: what is the future of bitcoin in Nigeria?

Even after the government decided to stop the use of crypto In Nigeria the influence only grew stronger and now a lot of people are now into the crypto space. People are now getting interested in buying and hodling Bitcoin especially in this bull run season. The future of Bitcoin in Nigeria is going to be absolutely phenomenal, more people are planning to buy when it dips, I think it's going to be a massive engagement from next year. Bitcoin is the future and it's going to make a lot of people financially free in few years time, ensure you are part of it too.

I was introduced to the forum by a friend of mine and I must say that he didn't do much convincing because the positive results he has are evident, after he told me everything I needed to know I created an account immediately and hoping to achieve the same results he has. It's quite hard to convince my friends and acquaintances because in the country that I'm from people are looking for easy ways to make money due to the high level of hardship, the forum seems to be stressful to them, most people are just looking for something that would pay immediately which is very hard to find. Nothing good comes easy.

Re: Money root of evil and root of fear
by
Chibit01
on 14/11/2024, 15:09:21 UTC
Is money really the root of all evil? The idea I have on this is very simple, the love and obsession of money is the root of all evil and fear. There's a lot money can do and it's a necessity for everyone to have it, that's the reason why we work on a daily basis to try to meet ends need and also finding a way to acquire wealth. But there are people that don't want to apply the principles of hardwork so instead they rather take the shortcut to make money which might lead to them getting involved in several atrocities, this is where it becomes an obsession and this is what makes it the root of evil. It's actually a two-edged sword it's left for you to either take the negative or positive path.

Re: Be careful of those crypto content makers

Crypto content makers are just all about making money off gullible people, this is why you shouldn't get influenced by every content creator you come across on social media. Most of the content makers try to make crypto look like a fast way to make money or a ponzy scheme, most of the accounts they display for viewers to see are fake trading accounts or demo accounts, they do this to entice you so you can either buy their courses or they can just look for a way to defraud you. When you are looking for a mentor or someone to lecture you on the financial market you should look out for those that hold physical classes or sessions instead of trying to pay someone you met online to learn crypto. Most of these crypto content creators are scammers and you should be careful so you end up being victimized.

Re: What do you think about having excessive bankroll in gambling
by
Chibit01
on 13/11/2024, 15:14:06 UTC
Having an excessive bankroll in gambling wouldn't stop you from having a limit to the resources that you gamble with. If you don't have an amount set aside for gambling you will stake above your means without realizing yourself. Most people don't know how easy it is to gamble with a thousand dollars, that money can be everything you have and it can be exhausted in a Twinkle of an eye. The More you keep funding in the process of chasing your losses the more you keep throwing all your money away. Having an excessive bankroll doesn't mean that it's inexhaustible.

Re: Loss Aversion: A Critical Factor for Responsible Gambling.
by
Chibit01
on 13/11/2024, 14:43:04 UTC
I totally agree, loss aversion are in different forms, one is being too hesitant. People use the delay tactic out of hesitation to avoid losses and when they finally decide to stake on a particular round they end up losing. Just like you said gamblers chase their losses as a way to avert losses only to end up losing more money. Losing doesn't come with a good feeling and sometimes coming to terms with reality after losing is quite difficult, this is why a lot of gamblers try to chase what they have already lost by gambling more, once you are trapped in this loop losing is inevitable.

Re: Who are the most vulnerable
by
Chibit01
on 13/11/2024, 14:26:45 UTC
Those that are vulnerable the most are the category of people that are not financially stable, gambling when you are not financially stable can cause a lot of setbacks and this can affect you in a lot of ways. My boss at work always tells us that gambling is for fat pockets only. People who get affected the most by gambling habit are people that are struggling financially. It's surprising that some poor gamblers stake as though they are rich, these is what cripples their finances and makes their situation more critical. The system is designed to take from you more than what you win.

The price of Bitcoin is increasing on a daily basis, those that were able to hodl patiently are in enough profit. Volatility is something that is constant in the crypto market always remember this Incase you plan on hodling for too long. Bitcoin is almost 88k, now is the best time to take profit, you don't have to wait till it hits a 100k..A big dip might hit the market anytime, in order not to start regretting just sell immediately. when it comes to crypto you must avoid being greedy at all cost. Well, I can't advice anyone on what to do if they've already made their decision.

You can really generalize this. There are successful people out there that made it without a mentor, they simply relied on Their ideas and instincts to scale through life. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a role model but remember that the people you idolize are also humans like you and they can make mistakes, this is why it's important not to put too much trust in them or expect too much. Personally I believe in learning from your experiences and not just learning but using what you have learnt to move forward and excel. Not every successful person had a mentor, that's a misconception.

I'm not sure you saw my previous question
I found out that the total pusher per day day is higher than the total pusher
Idk if it's an error or there's something I don't understand. Thanks
There is "Pushers" which is how many people reporting, 37.  Then there is the "total pusher per day day" as you call it, which I believe you are referring to the "Pushups/Pusher per day" column amount which is the average of how many pushups we all are doing per day =  106.55 * 35.7297 average days per pusher = 140859.

I can't even remember how much I have actually pushed so far but all thesame I have pushed enough we the pusher I normally pushups per day making sure I cover my column.....

Re: Losing all your fortune with just 3 years
by
Chibit01
on 15/05/2024, 17:20:24 UTC

The subject is Terrance Watanabe which is a successful businessman who has a huge business and money that becomes addicted on gambling. He lose a total of 127M which is all his fortune that he earn from his business. Imagine all your hardworking was turn out to nothing after a few years of gambling addiction.

The sad part here was he became a victim of casino scheme of alluring user with their offers and allowing him to play while drunk until he loss everything.

He manage to wager a whooping 825M $ in just a single year when he lose that 127M.

If you love to drink and bet and you're frequenting a casino expect to lose your fortune in a short period of time people are so daring when they are drunk that they bet more than they want to bet, just like what happened to Dana White who unknowingly bet and lose $3 million when he only remembers his bet to be $80k, he learned his lesson well that he will never drink and bet.
Terrance Watanabe could have stopped if he was monitoring his finances. I guess gambling has hooked on him, and he ignored all the warning signs.

I will only tell him this Don't gamble anymore, it is not for you.

Unless you have a bottomless pit of money, stop gambling.

You will never get it back gambling.

Move on to other activities.

Go feed the homeless.

Go to church. Change your ways because it is not actually frozen you

I already thought about that. Do you think this really pays off?
Which center would you recommend?
I am also ready to get a recommendation if it actually pays off which centre do you use as a full recommendation I have accepted it already when I thought about it aswell

Well he is a newbie.

We have had a 50% hashrate drop back in 2021 when BTC was whaling and China kicked the miners out.

That killed of the April 2021 prices of 60k plus.

Mining difficulty will most likely increase but so will mining technology. Moores Law comes into play on both sides of the equation in that as difficulty increases so will mining efficency. Many mining chip manufactures are addressing the issue. While it is no longer profitable to mine bitcoin on your laptop, one can mine alt-coins effectively and convert to bitcoin.

Market forces and competition always seem to sort these issues out.

Re: Do you think gambling every day is better?
by
Chibit01
on 15/05/2024, 17:09:43 UTC

If you have guaranteed about your success then excessive work can give you a huge return as the more you work the more you will earn but it is not possible with gambling. You don't know about your win or lose therefore if you find that you are losing more money in gambling then stop it and use your money in another profitable thing.

I understand that gambling can seem exciting because of the possibility of a quick and big win.
However, it is worth remembering that getting out of this addiction is important. Business, although it requires effort,
This is exactly what I gets from this comment, a gambler needs more efforts to get rid of his additive behaviors, most addicts don't know how to get rid of their addiction because they don't know what is required to stop gambling or how to control themselves from gambling always. Some people immediately they gets a little $ they look for the nearest place that they will gamble because it's either the money is not enough for them or they believes that while gambling they might be able to double the amount they they have.
The reason some people look for the nearest place to indulge in gambling is simply that they cannot find a better option, if they invest or accumulate, it will take too long and what's more, the addict's brain probably really can't hold any more calculations, at that point it's just dice, cards and odds, without any investment rationality. There are actions that are exciting but not good for forming a habit, gambling is an action that poses potential future risks, wrong approach and addiction will be a gloomy sky for the participants

Yes very much bad ... Gambling sucks out your soul energy whenever you loose. It has unimaginable impact in your life. But if we are talking about soul… it brings you away from the worship of the one creator who created you. The act itself is immoral as it depends upon chance or fixing or malicious plan. Whenever you win in gambling you want to gamble more. And when you do loose you try to gamble again to get the money back. It is undeniable how gambling is ruining a family or a person. A gambler doesn’t gamble money. He gambles his dignity, honour and his soul. Each gamble leaves a dark spot on your heart. Stop gambling and discourage others from gambling. Hope you liked my answer. Leave a like if you did. I do hope you come out of gambling.......

Beware it sucks

Yes gambling everyday is very bad because If you become addicted to gambling, it can be detrimental to many areas of your life, including inducing anxiety, depression, and feelings of guilt if you end up spending money that should’ve been used for things like paying the rent, keeping up with bills, and putting food on the table. Gambling addiction may also mean that you do or think about little else other than gambling, even when you are doing other things. This can lead gambling addicts to withdraw from society (which has its own mental health problems, of course), to hide their addiction and other things related to it from friends and family (creating a less than truthful relationship with others), and even start to take over from other obligations, such as family, work, or school. And the more time spent sitting at a table, slot machine, or while playing online means that you’re not getting much exercise

Re: Your favorite to lose slot game
by

on 15/05/2024, 17:03:43 UTC
I'm hardly a favorite slot person but I often see a lot of persons addicted to a particular game in gambling shops and no matter how much they keep on losing they still come back the next day to play again, and i find it ridiculous to continue with something that does not favour you maybe just because you love it. Gamble responsibly, mind addiction and get control over yourself.
Only a gambler that's chasing after loses can get addicted, which means those gamblers that are addicted to gamble were ones a loss chasers. Having a favorite games might make you become addicted when you over react to it. Some people are addicted to their favorite games because they feels so comfortable with it.

My favourite is actually aThe older flaming 7 wheels with 7 wheels and quick hit bonus. 1 and 2 cent denom. I haven’t one the most off them but I’ve enjoyed doubling my money the times when I only had a few hundred to gamble. The bonus rounds are usually pretty exciting because you match three squares for 5 or up to 25 free games multiplied by 2x.
