Re: Crypto Kidnappings in France Out of Control!
by

on 15/05/2025, 17:24:03 UTC
Crypto was supposed to provide people more freedom and control over their moneybut now it’s placing some at considerable risk. What’s happening in France is a wake up call, not just for the government but also for the crypto community. There has to be better coordination between law enforcement and crypto firms to track and prevent these crimes.
At the same time more education is needed around privacy and security, because if people don’t feel comfortable they’ll start walking away from it altogether.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season

You all have spoken well in respect of the two team, i so much esteem Inter Milan for their determination this season and they have done well to say right form the start, same also applies to PSG, which i thing they both deserves more of their fans support to cheer them up towards this task ahead of them, what i know is that they would have been there calculating by now on each others strength and weakness and draw the kind of formation they would have use to approach their match, lets continue with speculations as we begin to see many other aspects of them getting unfold as the discussion continues.
Both teams have shown something different in the Champions League this season, this is because their target is to win the championship. This is a great opportunity and I think this is an ideal final that makes it difficult for us to predict who will win in this final match.
However, if we talk about football fans as a whole, I feel that previously neutral people would support Inter Milan more, especially if they are football fans who have experienced Inter Milan's golden era.
I don't mean to underestimate Paris Saint Germain, but they are considered a team from the Farmer's League and some time ago the dislike for them was more visible after they used unreasonable money to retain a player.
Both Inter Milan and PSG have had excellent runs and you can see the hunger in both teams.   Inter offers that old school heritage feeling and a lot of neutrals do gravitate toward them because of their history and enthusiasm.   PSG on the other side has always had that moniker of attempting to buy success, and that kind of reputation lingers with fans for a while But still credit to them for constructing a solid group. This final is honestly unpredictable and that’s what makes it interesting to watch.

Re: Why airdrop is making a lot of traders reconsider

The Tap-to-Earn model of getting airdrops did its thing, and it was one of the most successful in onboarding newbies into cryptocurrency. About PRAI, I feel it is a good project, but I like to wait a while before trading new tokens, and I might take advantage of the exchange with low trading fees you mentioned, but this is when I am satisfied with its price performance over some time.
That makes a lot of sense. It’s true that tap to earn helped bring a lot of people into crypto but now it’s more about putting in work and being early in promising projects. Personally, I do some airdrops but I’m also cautious. Like you I prefer watching the token’s performance first before making a move. No harm in being patient especially in this market.

I remember few years ago when one of my friends introduced me to crypto few years ago, do you know this guy introduced me to trade some meme haha. i was so happy then when i was able to turn my $50 to 120$ in 20 minutes. i was so interested in learning more about how i'm going to continue haha.

Whenever I remember it amuses me because i am more invested in crypto now than he is because he ventured into another industry and went on about his Irl bussiness.

Well, thank God for that day, if not i wouldn’t have been interested in crypto not to talk of investing in it. I’ve heard different stories about this, what’s yours ?
For me I got into crypto during the 2021 craze simply trying to see what the buzz was about. At first I was just following the crowd, made a bit of money, lost some too. I studied more I grew to appreciate the tech behind it. Now it’s more than simply trading for me it’s about being part of something that could genuinely affect the future.

The only true control we have is how much we’re willing to risk and being a tiny gambler is actually wise,  Most people who chase the big win usually give it all back anyway. winning once doesn’t mean you’ve won for good since if you keep going back, the house will eventually take it The only true win is understanding your limit and sticking to it

Re: no one can beat the casino.

I think everyone has experienced the thought of almost winning, but the thing I'm worried about is when they lose and think like this, plus in the previous gamble they almost got a big win, then this allows the player to gamble again by depositing their money again to gamble again because they think they almost won, so they think in the next gamble they will be able to win, I have also experienced this and it's really sad when I remember it hahaha.
It's true what you said, casinos are built to make money, so the chances of winning that players have cannot be greater than the casino, it's only natural that players experience more losses than wins.
Certainly, that sensation of being so near makes it much more difficult to halt it's as though the mind mislead you into believing the next one will strike since the past one was almost there, I have also been there in those times it is difficult to go. The system is actually designed to keep you in that cycle, Winning seems doable but the house always has the advantage, Knowing that helps even if it,  doesn't always simplify opposition.

Re: Bitcoin is deflationary

That comparison really puts it in perspective when you say miners make approximately 450 BTC per day yet microstrategy alone was buying like 2000+ daily.   No wonder prices have been moving the way they have.   And their hodl technique absolutely contributes to the deflationary pressure as that's just a big quantity of bitcoin effectively removed from circulation. You're right though about the risk factor.  These institutions might possibly opt to sell at some point which would substantially impact the supply dynamics.   But microstrategy especially looks pretty devoted to their bitcoin strategy for the long haul from all I've seen.

Re: Trump says: "Buy stocks now"

I saw that Trump statement too and it definitely drew my attention.   He's always been like this with the market though right.  Trying to puff it up and take credit as equities go up.   But the tariff statements are interesting notably going from 145% to 80% with China.   That's still high but it's better than before.
The market does seem to be responding positively to these signs.   I've noticed tech stocks notably bouncing back a bit.   But I'm not fully persuaded this is the end of the bear market just yet.   There are still a lot of economic difficulties that need to be tackled.
The China material is particularly hard to read.   If they actually do hammer out some kind of settlement that may be a serious catalyst for a meaningful surge.   But we've seen Trump make great claims about deals before that didn't materialize the way he described.

Re: Is it worth worrying or giving concern about?
by

You know it's actually a really good point that I never thought much about.   I've used a few gambling sites over the years and honestly I simply believe my data is already out there and I don't care too much.   But you're right when ownership changes hands it may be a tremendous problem.
I recall when one of the poker sites I used were acquired by some bigger firm and I just kept using it without even thinking about what would happen to all my personal stuff.   They have my ID documents money data address and even my playing patterns which is very sensitive stuff when you think about it.
It's kinda alarming since gaming corporations already operate in this odd zone where regulations vary so much per country.   A new owner could definitely have different beliefs or be under financial pressure to monetize user data in ways the original company wouldn't have.
What makes it worse is we never truly get a choice in these instances.   They basically send some message about changed terms that nobody reads and we keep playing.   By the time you realize there might be an issue your data is already in their hands.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25
by

I absolutely agree with your view of the relegation struggle in LaLiga. It certainly does look like Las Palmas are in severe peril following that Sevilla setback.   Their odds of staying up are increasing fewer by the day.  Alaves clearly have the superior position right now.   Hosting Valencia provides them a decent shot at points, however I'm not confident they'll get the win. A draw seems more realistic.   Valencia still has something to play for with the Conference League spot possibility, so they won't be taking it easy.

For Leganes, facing Villarreal away is just horrible timing.  I can't see them earning much from the match unless something extremely unexpected happens.
You're right about end-of-season surprises though!   Every year we see some unexpected results in these final matches when relegation-threatened teams suddenly find another gear. Sometimes desperation generates amazing performances. The Alaves-Valencia encounter should be incredibly competitive with both clubs needing points for completely different reasons. I wouldn't wager on the match either - too uncertain with so much at risk.

I think writing on paper is more risky. Because you can't tell when that paper will be lost. No matter how safe you keep it, if a rat, cockroach or any natural cause gets lost. That is a threat to us. And once it goes to someone else, it's over.
In my opinion, we should keep our personal data in a secure Google account that we only need to log in when necessary. And we should use that account safely. Cheesy

I just explore and play the game on DragonSlots here is my details review from my point of view.

What I Liked:
DragonSlots is an  immersive dragon-themed design rich visuals, blazing animations, and user friendly interface immediately grab interest. Popular titles (Book of Dead, Starburst) and original dragon-themed games like Dragon's Myth Megaways are among the varied library of slots the site offers from major developers like NetEnt and Microgaming. Daily promos and the kind welcome bonus like  100% match plus 50 free spins—keep gameplay interesting. Along with safe payment alternatives (Visa, Skrill, cryptocurrency), I valued the seamless mobile adaptability and fast-loading games.

My favorite Slot:
Though the site's exclusive Dragon's Fortune (featuring expanding wilds and a 10,000x max win) is a close second for its exciting bonus rounds, Gonzo's Quest stands out for its cascading reels and high RTP (95.97%).

Tips for Players :
1. Prioritize High RTP Slots (96%+): Games like Blood Suckers (98% RTP) offer better long-term returns.
 2. Leverage Bonuses Wisely: Use free spins on volatile slots (e.g., Dead or Alive 2) to minimize risk.
3. Set Limits: Use the site’s built-in deposit caps to avoid overspending.
4. Practice in Demo Mode: Test strategies risk-free before betting real money.

My opinion about Visual Highlights:
The homepage’s animated dragon guarding a treasure chest sets the tone, while slot teasers (such the scorching reels of Dragon’s Inferno) tease the action.
