Re: Crypto.com - The Pioneering Payments & Cryptocurrency Platform

I have had a very good experience with Crypto.com.  It continues to be that way.

My Indigo card took around 6 weeks to arrive, no big deal, its exactly the time i expected it to arrive when i was speaking with the fine people in the Crypto.com Telegram chat (you can find link on their website).

I see some people "moaning" because of late cards or payments and often it is through their own fault, other times it  will be quickly resolved by visiting the UK telegram channel and speaking to one of the top Moderators (UK channel) Shout out to Crom and Demaril.

The Crypto.com cards still (and for a long time to come) remain as the best reward and cashback cards on the market.  Clearly, CDC (crypto dot com) are here to say, they would not have over 500 staff, the BEST DOMAIN NAME going, if they weren't serious.

The mobile app works fantastically, very easy to use once you have had a play around with it for 15mins. Seamlessly integrates with the Exchange and make buying and selling Bitcoin a walk in the park.

NOTE: Many MANY Banks in todays world are still Anti-Crypto, so 9 times out of 10, it is the bank to blame and not CDC which a lot of people are wrongly blaming them for.

There are ways around problematic banks, like i say, i recommend joining the telegram chat, not only are the Mods fantastic help but also many of the 2k+ members there.

Lastly...  THINK ABOUT THIS.

What two words will the new flood MILLIONS of new comers to Crypto type into Google?

Bitcoin and Crypto !     What URL are they likely to see at the top of search results ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD...

CRYPTO.COM

I have a bag and it would rival Santas!

You're Welcome.  Kiss

I agree with VB, I've nothing but good experiences with Crypto.com, so much so I've got a card for my wife, daughter, step-son and son-in-law. 3% cashback on all the groceries and a myriad of other things soon adds up and is very welcome and I've also been a subscriber of Spotify for years so now it's free for me via the card, it is saving me over £100 a year. I might even get to use the airport lounge access 1 day! Hopefully....

It is my goto app for buying Crypto as it is so easy and convenient and a lot of the cryptos you buy can be put straight into earn to get some interest on them at a competitive rate.

A great little tip is to load up the app with TGBP at pay day, put it into earn at 8% interest then top up the card from that when necessary whilst still earning good interest on the rest of the TGBP still in earn.

It has good staking rates - they have dropped recently but I'm still happy with them and it shows CDC is in it for the long term by assessing and protecting their profitability (yes, they are a business and need to make money to stay in the game).

For anybody starting out on their crypto journey, CDC is the perfect place to start and CRO is dirt cheap at the moment - I don't think it'll be at these prices for long!

Cheers

I think Bitsend (BSD) is worth a punt.

It's been moving up slowly, under the radar, since March and has an active dev, a great team and good tech behind it. I believe it is very under valued at the moment

Do they ever make affiliate payments?

I've been owed for nearly 2 months. I've messaged them a couple of times through the Coindata contact page. It says that somebody will respond in 48 hours - still waiting for about 3 weeks.

Guess he's making too much money with his mate Richard Branson to bother with us little guys  Angry

Very poor....

I see that price has started to rise again recently. What's caused that?

Not that I'm complaining... Wink

I was giving up hope that SNRG would ever rise again.

It's up over 120% on Bittrex and still cheap as chips in my opinion.

To the moon!

Do not get excited, just a bomb and soon back in place, the devs have died.
Lol, the devs may have died but it looks like the coin is being resurrected!

Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.2 (Windows/Linux)
by

on 06/03/2017, 09:32:05 UTC
Just wondering if anybody is having the same issue as me?

I downloaded ver 12.2 to my PC, extracted it onto a USB stick then installed it on my miner but windows defender flagged it as malware and deleted the zec64 miner exe. I ended up having to disable defender to install the miner.

I got it running and it's working brilliantly well - giving me about 1400H/s from 5 280x's.

It still crashes every morning (as all previous versions have done for me) but the difference now is that the zec64 miner also disappears and I have to reload it again from the USB stick - windows defender is still disabled by the way.

Running windows 8.1

Miner Problems
by
CitizenEra5ed
on 28/12/2016, 10:41:39 UTC
Good morning fellow miners, I thought I had posted this yesterday but cannot find it now.

My miner has a problem. It has 5 x 280x graphics cards but since it crashed on Chistmas morning, there is now only 1 card showing up.

I was mining Zcash using the Claymore version 9.1 and it had been mining for about 4 days before it crashed (not unusual as it seems to crash every few days and a simple reboot normally gets everything working ok again - but not this time)

The specs of the miner are :- Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit, 5 x Sapphire 280x, 2 x 1000 Watt power supplies (1 powering 3 graphics cards and 1 powering the rest of the rig and the other 2 cards), 4 gig ram, Gigabyte GA -990XA-UD3 motherboard, large HDD (cant remember size and miner is off at present), Sempron processor (again, cant remember exact model), 15.12 graphics card drivers.

Everything is about 2.5 years old and has mined all sorts on and off in that time so there is nothing wrong with the specs of the rig.

I uninstalled the graphics driver with the DDU program and reinstalled it.

Just wondering what to try next??

Any ideas greatly received

Cheers

Chris

I've just got a page full of unconfirmed transactions - is this normal? I'm a bit of a noob at this Ethereum mining.

The last 40 transactions are all unconfirmed. My last confirmed transaction was over 4 hours ago...

Edit, every transaction came through all at once. Don't know why it stalled for about 5 hours but it came good in the end

Re: Ethminer how to mine with multiple GPU?
by

on 13/03/2016, 13:43:05 UTC
I'm trying to get my 5 card 280x rig running but ive no idea if its going to work or not. I've used the bat file which cdub kindly posted above. I've run it and it is still generating the DAG file after over 1 hour. Is this correct?

It got up to 100% earlier, then it started again, much slower and I'm seeing all sorts of lines such as

gpu miner1 work loop....
Pause 9858ms
gpu miner 1 stopping 11812ms
gpu miner 1 workloop....
main start worker
 and so on...

should I be seeing this.

Sorry for the noob questions but I'm new to Ethereum...

Edit: it has started mining Smiley

If your funds are still in your Multibit-wallet then something went wrong, but you didn't loose anything.
I don't think your deposit will ever be made.
Open an account on a crypto-exchange, deposit BTC there and buy ETH.
Then you can withdraw from the exchange to your personal Etherbase.

Regards, djoser.
the funds have left my Multibit wallet and must be lost in cyberspace. It's not a large amount - just a few £ so I'm not really bothered about losing it, I'm more concerned about if the wallet is working correctly and ive not done anything wrong myself.

It may be because of what rocketron has written about it taking hours and hours to confirm as I didn't alter any fees

thanks for your help

I used the deposit using BTC function of the ethereum wallet.

It gave me a deposit address and told me that it will be converted into Ether and sent to my Ethereum wallet address.

I'm still awaiting its arrival after 24+ hours

Did you check the BTC deposit adress you were given via BTC-blockexplorer  if your payment from multibit wallet went trough?
Bitcoin has a lot of unconfirmed transactions these days, so small amounts can take some time to reach its destination.

djoser.
It's saying transaction not found

Did you try to send BTC to your Etherbase?
This can not work. Only ETH can be send to your Etherbase.
You have to exchange BTC to ETH first.

djoser.
Thanks for the reply

I'm completely new to Ethereum. I've downloaded the wallet (ver 0.5.1) It is fully synced to the main network and is showing 12 peers.

Just over 24 hours ago, I sent a small amount of Bitcoin from my Multibit wallet to my main account (Etherbase) but it is still showing a balance of 0.00 Ether.

My Multibit wallet is saying that "This Transaction Is Not Yet Confirmed"

Any ideas if I've done something wrong and how to rectify matters? I'm currently mining in a pool but not due a payout yet so I've no idea if I'm going to receive a payout when it is due...

Thanks
