If the url shortener using same script like others i have an idea with that.

On the settings they can choose if the views will be global or per campaign.

Global - all shortened links are unite as 1 means if i click on shortened link my ip will be counted as view globally for 24 hours even if i click on different account it will be marked ad counted since the views are global.

For example

Campaign1 - all clicks will be marked as unique
Campaign2 - will not count since ip is registered globally

Per campagin - if they choosed per campaign means for every campaign all are unique views

For example

Campaign1 - 1 unique ip
Campaign2 - the same ip but also counted as unique on this campaign.

I Don t Think That The Shortlinks Site That O Used Support The Compaign View That You Have Mentioned
Because They Really Count The Number Of All Visitors But They Only Pay For A Small Number In The First Image Below You Will See Hundreds Of Views But In The Second One There Is Only 7 Views Count As Paid

This is odd, because AFAIK the most common shorteners do not behave this way.
I have encountered shorteners in the past who would only count an ip once per 24h regardless who's shortlink was used.
But today, this is IMHO virtually  unheard of?
I'm seeing a lot of short link traffic with my sites and if an ip would only be counted once regardless of short link account, the statistics would look very very different.

P.S. Granted I work exclusively with dynamic links, which in my case results in each link only existsing once and once visited it's gone.
i agree that my testing was wery wery crude and had alot of flaws. i wasnt able to accurately count how many visits i sent to each of the 2 api's individually, and i had only done this test with a single shortlink. i didnt need much more as the result was everything i needed. another variable i wasnt able to confirm is if it behaves differently if the visits come from different sites (as both visits allways came from the same domain.)

i also use dynamic links (as they allow for better tracking and are generally needed for my setup). but this could simply be an odd one in the mix.

perhaps someone who has the mostly used script or even runs a shortener can shed more light on this Wink

In General Almost All Unique Views Counter Shortlink Sites Uses Adsense As Their Original Source Of Ads And We All Know That Adsense Is A Unique View Counter So It Doesn't Pay Them Twice For The Same Visitor Even If He Comes From Different Api, What I Am Trying To Say Is That They Are Forced To Not Count The Second Visit Of The Same Visitor Sad

I Am A New Faucet Owner And I Recently Noticed That Some Claimer Who Came To Your Faucet After Claiming From Another Faucet And Already Visited It Shortlink That Happened To Be The Same As The Shortlink You Use In Your Faucet In This Case When He Visit Your Shortlink Another Time That Visit Won't Be Counted It Means You Loose Money Huh Huh
Is There A Solution For This Problem?
Does Anyone Have Any Idea About That? ?? Undecided
I think shortener will count it for you. They count unique view for each account or you can use browser.history.search function to check if they have click this link before.

allthough this is the widely known myth about it, in my recend test i asked a friend of mine (different ip, different country) to make an account on a shortener and give me their api details (we will call the shortener shortener x). so i took my friends api key and my own api key from shortener x and sent a few people to my friends api. as my friends api was second in my list  they HAD to go through my api key first, therefore any of the visitors on my friend's api previously went through mine.

after about 1 1/2 hours of testing we saw the result of 1 succesfull visit counted. the average shortlink in that place counts 10 visits per hour, so while i cant say that it doesnt accept any visits, i can reliably say there is a definite difference.

tungag's browser.history.search idea could kinda help with this, but the biggest solution would be for faucet owners to make a third party service that reliable keeps track of this on as many different faucets as possible. as this would increase earnings for everyone.

Every Single UnCounted Visit Cost Me Money The "browser.history.search" Idea May Help, All Views Count Shortlinks Is Also A Solution Smiley
