Hello, I didnt know about the update, if i use my old wallet.dat i dont see my coins in the new wallet? did i lose them because of this update???

Hmmmm, when are you going to anounce the recompiled wallet?? Its 2 weeks now! btw the website really looks un proffesional! you need to understand that you have to invest a lot yourself. not reacting to simple messages here is not going to get people like me send you any funds to do anything. you have a golden oppertunity here with this coin. its all up to you now because communication and marketing you LACK!!

Its about time, this wallet is really crappy and Trump is the best POTUS ever. this coin deserves better then this, a masternode would be awesome, but please not those rediculous amounts of coins, maybe 1000 TRUMP, something like DASH, or even better... good to hear something from you.
Looking forward to see a new wallet, been holding these bags for a long time without being able to stake, what is really rediculous, wallet is stuck at a certain block.

People now still coming up with the questions regarding the BTCD really need a reality check. You have had several months to swap your coins, but chose to wait until the very last moment (even though the blockchain has been slow the past month) to swap and now you complain that it isn't working?
Seriously just be glad that the team is still working on it, if it were up to me, I would have simply replied that you had enough time to make it happen.

Can you have a look at the BTCD chain, my wallet is stuck in staking for more than a week and want to exchange them for KMD by the 15th next month, if you have a look at the BTCD tread there are more people having problems moving BTCD, please advice @jl777B

Why is the BTCD wallet so slow to sync my coins are stuck in stake and have been for about 2 months now i missed moving them by 1 block last time before they went straight back into stake ><
Is there a command/way I can cancel the stake on my BTCD wallet to return my coins to Spendable?
Any help appreciated thanks

I have the same isseu, and when the chain starts moving my coins stay in stake, now for 10 days...

if you could be a little bit more specific about which wallet you are having problems with, and the nature of your problem, we might be able to help you out. I'm using the NEO-GUI wallet and it is working just fine.

i also have the NEO-GUI wallet, dont know whats going on it just doesnt want to start up any more. its a few weeks now that it doesnt want to start up. did nothing special, only restarted my pc, thats it. if nothing changed then i dont understand why it would not start up. i never had this problem before.
Me too, out of sudden the wallet does not work. I also did nothing special. Any advice appreciated, thanks!
Before doing anything backup your wallet .db3 file, this step is most important.
Now that you have backed up your wallet we can start to mess around a bit, the following usually fixes 99% of problems.
(1) Rename the folder you have all the NEO files in, say to NEO_OLD, this will ensure you still have all the old stuff if anything goes wrong.
(2) Reinstall the NEO wallet https://github.com/neo-project/neo-gui/releases - let it sync ( you can use the bootstrap file to help speed up syncing, https://github.com/CityOfZion/awesome-neo#blockchain-bootstrap-files )
(3) Close the NEO wallet.
(4) Copy your backed up wallet db3 file to some folder, i.e "Wallet", where you just re-installed the new wallet files.
(5) Restart NEO and when asked where the wallet is point it to your copied wallet.

Just noticed there is a new NEO wallet, 2 days old. Think I'll give it a go..wish me luck
EDIT: Just installed the new wallet - it works fine, feels a little quicker too.

This is the CMD line wallet. If you do not need it for mining, please wait a couple of days for the Full windows GUI wallet.
It will come with installer and will be much easier to setup/use.
Anyway I will see if sparkit or Demartini have some recording software to make video instructions for the cmd line wallet.

My wallet is still stuck on being 24 weeks behind for the second day running. Is there anything I can run on the console which will help to speed up the synchronisation?
I've already cleared the roaming folder and restarted the wallet a number of times prior to this 2 day run but it still doesn't seem to be moving at all.
Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

try opening a cmd window in the folder where you have your zcoin-qt installed and type
zcoin-qt -reindex
Are you talking about the console within the debug window? My folder doesn't have a cmd window in it at all.
cmd is the console/terminal in microsoft windows
