Re: BTCTools scammed me - Beware of this Fraudster!

Learned the hard way, although I thought this forum is different, plus I saw he/she's got a positive reputation, but I was wrong and the lesson is learned even more.

I just cannot understand how can such people put their heads on the pillow and have a peaceful sleep at night  Huh

Make it just he ( he/she doesnt look good )
Also, i think it is probable that:

he gambled it and lost the amount
he will pay you soon ( 33% )

Also should i help you?

SparrowGreen

Is SparrowGreen a Mod who can help me here or you're suggesting something else?

I'm open to all suggestions.

And I really don't want anything except what we've agreed upon or simply he sends me the exact amount I send him, and I've mentioned this in one of my PMs to him and he has my address in it.

It looks like he's betting as it seems from the steady amounts he keeps receiving on that address.

I wish he'll get his consciousness restored one more time and he'd pay his dues for once.

*Sigh*

Any suggestions are welcome.

BTCTools scammed me - Beware of this Fraudster!
by
CoderniX
on 25/11/2013, 05:12:01 UTC
He/She seems sweet and energetic, and he asked to buy some coins by Paypal.

I agreed to start with small amounts, until a bond of trust is established and I can supply more.

I said to provide 0.074BTC and he said he'll pay instantly on Paypal, and he asked me to pay first and that I should check his Trust Status.

I went on there and read some 4 or 5 positive reps and felt safe to trade with him/her, and I sent the transaction to the address he/she supplied, and that was verified instantly on BlockChain from here:

https://blockchain.info/address/1NNKk39HM9nwCY98LLTSNpShE1odq4oxcv

My transaction can be seen specifically from here:

https://blockchain.info/tx/5ca53e8092cf249fb6aeb23d3cabb611093dfa23400439c9261b1dd8092e2556?show_adv=true

The Fraudster https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=93190 -- BTCTools -- disappeared right after I sent him the coins, and I kept PMing him/her for hours, then he/she got back to me after a long while and apologized and said the electricity went down in their area, and he/she asked to send him a Paypal Payment request to this email:

vlasharov@bk.ru

I kept PMing him/her for a whole day, and although I see him/her online, still no response to the moment.

I bet he/she was looking for someone else to scam.

Here are some of his/her PMs:

Quote
BTC-e USD rate sounds fine?
(0.074 = 50$)

What is you'r PayPal account?

And my wallet address is :
1NNKk39HM9nwCY98LLTSNpShE1odq4oxcv

Thanks in advance.

He/She seems very polite. Huh?

Quote
Sure ,will send in a few minutes..
By the way ,May i buy some more BTC's by tomorrow?

Giving assurances that he/she will buy again, after I asked him/her to pay me.

Quote
I'm very very sorry!
The Electricity in the hole neighborhood felt down..

Please send me a gift request link so i will pay..

Once again ,
I'M VERY SORRY FOR YOUR TIME!

How kind of him/her!??

Quote
Please send me a payment request to vlasharov@bk.ru
Once again ,i'm sorry.

Sent him requests and they're pending for 2 days.

Stay away from this scam. (no pun intended)

It's Frustrating though.

I have checked the Rep of a Member and everybody praised him in 5 transactions, so I went ahead and sent him coins, and he had never paid me. Once he said there was an electricity problem, then he said he'll pay right away, then he said to send him a Paypal request, and it's been over 10 hours without a response, and I've been flooding him with PMs on here and he was online just a moment ago, yet he continued to ignore me.

The worst of that, is that I see he received a BTC payment after mine on the address he supplied.

I'd say one thing here. Forget the Reputation thing, get paid first then send your BTCs. You can rip any one off via Paypal, it's the contrary, let alone if you send the BTCs first, then say good buy to your money.

It happened to me 3 times on another forum, and this one my first on here and it happened again, and the Admins can check our PMs and how it's confirmed he got the BTC and every time he finds an excuse.

I'd just appreciate it if he says he will pay on such and such date.

Since we're both new here. I can sell you 0.07BTC for Paypal, and if it goes smooth with no Chargeback thing, then I will sell you up to 0.5BTC.

The more the trust bond grows, the more I'll supply.

PM me, and I've opened a thread about this just a day ago.

I'm gonna sell Ads (+ BTC Bonus) for Paypal/Skrill. Safe and secure.
by
CoderniX
on 22/11/2013, 18:06:58 UTC
Hello everybody,

I'm going to start selling in a safe way that wouldn't result in a chargeback, and I'd like to start testing here with the members.

I've read here all the horrors of selling BTC against Paypal or Skrill; however, I found that we can still do that in a safe and healthy way, and here is my offer:

1- The main Purchased Product is an Ad space in one of my websites, and right now I'll provide the space on my Tech Blog, or an Educational Forum.

2- I will start providing only small amounts, until a trust bond is built and I can provide you with 1BTC and above later.

3- I'll be setting a 3 Days worth of Ad space worth of a Bonus of 0.01BTC, which is worth of $13Paypal or $12Skrill. Don't get this wrong, you'll be paying for the Ad-Space and BTC will be rewarded as a Bonus to the loyal customers.

_______

I'm starting with a small BTC Bonus amount that is 0.07BTC, and once I get a positive overview about the whole experiment, I'll start selling Ad-Spaces that are rewarded by 1 to 10BTCs at a time as a Bonus, and people buying early from now will get a %2 discount later Smiley

So tell me how this is against Paypal/Skrill's TOS?

I'm selling Ad-Space, and BTC is just a Bonus from me like the Point System, and it's a BTC-point System and is virtual exactly like the Points Smiley

NOTE:

- The Ads may contain text or images.
- The Ads cannot contain any of or promoting the following:
______- Alcohol.
______- Drugs.
______- Porn and/or nudity.
______- Any sort of human or animal abuse.
______- Discrimination against any group of people.
______- Anything that is deemed illegal by law.
______- Anything religious.
______- Anything immoral.

Just keep it clean and you'll be okay.

Re: It's stupid that newbies must make 5 posts and browse for 4 hours. Here's why
by

It's not a way of getting rid of spam... but it's a way of significantly reducing it, and it works.

And think about it... it's not THAT annoying, is it? I mean, really... what's 4 hours? It's half a working day, it's a short night's sleep, it's two films.

Stop whining about nothing - the rule does more good than bad.

Then you wake up and you find that you have to keep clicking for non-stop 4 hours, not just leaving your browser open for 4 hours, and you'll get back here cussing why is that happening. Huh!

As if people don't have a life! People have been lurking here for as long as the board was created and I couldn't remember for the life of me what username and what email I used to register on here a couple of years ago!

I posted in the mining threads and never logged in again, which is why I got even frustrated, and if there was a process to retrieve your account by stating your Country, and Date of Birth, that would be amazing.

HI everyone, not sure what the rationale is behind it but if it helps here is my first post on btct.

I really posted here because I felt frustrated and I didn't continue posting, rather I closed my browser out of frustration.

However, reading such posts of "as you wish, and here is my 1st post" cracks me up and almost fell off my chair. Epic!

Re: I might start selling bitcoin for Paypal, call me crazy
by
CoderniX
on 21/11/2013, 02:36:09 UTC
Whenever I bought, I bought via eBay using Paypal, and I'm thinking to do the same, because you get paid very well over there, but reading here has just confused me.

Ok, how about selling via Skrill/Moneybookers, anyone has tried that?

Also, where does it say Paypal will ban your account, if you sell BTC? I searched the TOS and couldn't find anything, as it's not like Skrill or whatever.

I exchanged on Okay and they give you dirt cheap rates and will never use them again!

Looking forward to see how it works for you, so that I'll start doing so too  Cool

I might even start by selling here with as small as 0.001, then I'll jump to 0.1 when I can build a list of trusted buyers.

Good luck everybody.

Does anyone know which is the safest and secure site to buy bitcoin with you credit card and then send them to your wallet? Thanks

Your credit card can be attached to your Paypal or Skrill, which you can use in return to buy the coins, don't you think?

Re: The worth of Mining vs. Investing
by
CoderniX
on 21/11/2013, 02:08:57 UTC
I'd just say invest, then you can mine at ease!

I've bought and sold for $1 against 1BTC, simply because I was a victim of FUD, then found out I was scammed by the CNBC propaganda, and after that I bought for $200 and I see it now jumping to $600!

It's just uncertain what will happen next, and what do we know for sure, is that the more coins are found and the more time advances, the less they'll be mined, and I don't know how that would affect the BTC value :/

The problem here is when the coins are deemed insufficient for the world use, are they going to be just created to fill in the demand and be exposed to the paper money inflation phenomenon or not??

I can't and neither one can predict what would happen next, but it seems like it's gonna raise more very soon, so it's better to start investing from now on.

I co-sign this!

It just doesn't feel right, rather they should've limited what to do or don't do as a new member like exchanging big BTC amounts from the beginning of something, but the 5 posts thing is just non-comprehensible.

I said the new members and not the newbies, because it's not necessary that every new member is a newbie in the BTC world.

*Sigh*
