PD is undoubtedly the most trustworthy bitcoin dice site, and is one of the only three sites I feel comfortable leaving a good amount of bitcoin there for an extended period of time. I have read some of MICRO's recent posts about how fast the PD support is nowadays, but (un)fortunately I have never experienced a problem in my login or deposits or withdraws, and so I cannot experience the improvement.

Haha, no wonder I found the thread a bit familiar.
And a month before creating the thread you linked, they had another attempt in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1025679.0;all which again a user just claimed to have won big from that site.

If you check the post history of that user and OP of this thread, you will notice both the two accounts were inactive for many months, and suddenly come back to "share their lucky story". And in that thread, you can also find a few users coming from nowhere after MIA for months (what a coincidence!) to tell people how "great" the site is.

Not sure if I am understanding you correctly there, but the current bitcoin block height is 383134, shouldn't the draw 1 end in block 384000?
BTW, it will take roughly 16 years to get to block 1233000. I am not sure I want to keep my bet stuck for that long lol.

There are http://bettingblocks.com/ and http://block777.com/, in which you can gamble on which pool will find a particular block.

I have also seen a few sites that allow people to gamble on the block hash or the "nonce" of the block (eg. Is the last number in the hash odd or even? Is the last two digit of the nonce <50? etc), but those sites didn't seem to get much attention and soon disappeared.

I believe the writer of that paragraph forgets about the 50% commission here, though he had that in mind when he was writing the earlier section and was talking about the situation with just one investor.

If some players have lost 10 bitcoin, the investors will only be able to share 50% of the profit, ie. 5 bitcoin only. The investor with 75% stake should get 3.75 btc while the second investor with 25% stake should get 1.25 btc.
