How does gravity work then?

To understand gravity, you must first understand apples.

Did Isaac Newton take a bite of the apple that fell on his head?

People crazy. Why flat Earth? You can fly by plane and see everything.

It's an experiment to show how unbelievable stupid people can actually be.

Q: As a passenger on an aircraft, how is it I can see the curvature of the earth?

"Quite simply you cannot. It is widely stated you would need to be at a height of at least 40,000 ft to get even a hint of curvature if earth were round. Commercial aircraft are not allowed to fly this high. They are only allowed to fly just under this altitude. 36,000ft might be typical. In addition, the windows on commercial aircraft are small and heavily curved. Even if they flew high enough for a person to see curvature, it would still not be visible to passengers."

https://wiki.tfes.org/Frequently_Asked_Questions

This is the general Flat Earth response. Seems reasonable.

Meanwhile, the universe is still flat.

In your picture (second one), the lines don't end up back at the sun. They go way above it. Why? The sun is right there at the top of the frame, not far above. Can you explain?

Exactly! I just wanted to show you that this picture doesn't prove anything.
I have seen that it is often used in 'proving' the flat earth theory but they have only drawn lines that suit them and ignored the rest.

Oh I see. It still looks somewhat convincing but I get your point.

This is a still-frame from a video recorded aboard an airplane:

There, I fixed it for you Smiley

Sometimes it is really hard to understand how stupid some people can be!

And actually, when you consider that the sun is about a hundred times the diameter of the earth, the rays that seem parallel, are more like this:

\|/

and are interspersed throughout, crisscrossing each other an infinite number of times.

Cool

Q: Is the edge of a circle with an infinite radius curved or straight?

http://www.askamathematician.com/2011/04/q-is-the-edge-of-a-circle-with-an-infinite-radius-curved-or-straight/

"Nail down the edge of a circle. As the center gets farther and farther away, the radius gets larger, and the curvature gets smaller. When the "circle is centered at infinity" the curvature drops to zero, and the edge becomes a straight line (black)."

The Earth is flat, and surrounded by an ice-wall, guarded by a shadowy cabal of people pledged to protect humans from tampering with the glass dome.

I know this, because, reasons.

You would make a terrible Flat Earther. At least have a sense of humor.

On the other hand the flat Earth meme could all be marketing for when private space travel takes off. I really hope it's not marketing.

So they would make  up something much more complex and hard (satellites) to hide how their actual system works? You see how that makes no sense right?

Yes, they would. Making up a complex system (satellites) doesn't involve actually making a complex system.

I think you are actually asking, what would be the motive, right?

Well, that's where #teamflat comes in and asks some tough questions. If there is an agenda to hide the fact that there is an impenetrable dome just above the sky (and space isn't what we've been told), then satellites are the perfect ruse. They seemingly 'confirm' the globe Earth 24/7, and they also add to the narrative that we've really been to the moon.

Propaganda has been used this way for a long time. Plus, the idea of satellites watching your every move right above your head is a potent psychological mechanism of control. See: panopticon.

When you ask "why fake satellites?" there are several plausible theories like the above.

Regarding the question: how does #teamflat explain GPS satellites?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skywave

"In radio communication, skywave or skip refers to the propagation of radio waves reflected or refracted back toward Earth from the ionosphere, an electrically charged layer of the upper atmosphere. Since it is not limited by the curvature of the Earth, skywave propagation can be used to communicate beyond the horizon, at intercontinental distances."

So, you beam a radio signal towards the ionosphere/dome from a ground station dish. The signal reaches the ionosphere/dome and it bounces back down to Earth from the sky. This would make it seem like the signal originated from a satellite, but in fact it originated on the ground.

And anyway you don't need satellites to determine "GPS" location. You just need to be within range of cell towers and triangulation math will do the rest. This would work basically the same on a flat Earth or a globe Earth.

#teamglobe should probably reconsider using GPS as evidence of a globe earth. Feel free to correct me.

Geo-location from Cell towers assumes you are simply at ground level wherever it determines you to be.
GPS is available and functioning regardless of weather and location. GPS works in the middle of the ocean, hundreds or thousands of miles from any tower.
And of course GPS IS OPEN SOURCE. You can design and build your OWN RECEIVER to take advantage of it. You can test your ideas for yourself.

Okay, disregard the cell tower point, because that confused my main point.

My main point is that it is possible to have a navigation system that is nearly identical to GPS without using satellites at all. All you need is a network of powerful land-based radio transmitters at various points on the Earth. Not only that, but because the signals are bounced off the ionosphere, you could make it SEEM as if the signals were coming from satellites in the sky.

Loran-C is a real-world example. It was basically GPS but without satellites. And it worked in the middle of the ocean...

Since these are military technologies, they have no obligation to tell the public how the system really works. In fact, it would be wise for the military to concoct a story like 'something something satellites" instead of reveal the true nature of it all.

NASA Cassini vs. Nikon Coolpix P900
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_f7iTOsqLs

A little about Saturn:

Prior to the slimy Luciferian invention of the Jesus fable and the subsequent formation of all the "Christian" cult religions, ancient pagan cultures recognized Saturn as "the keeper of time", not the Sun. Christian-cults (knowingly or not), are Sun-worshipers who worship the SON (Jesus), and that SON is the SUN of the (false) God, Lucifer (aka "the light bearer"). The (original) Luciferians who created the Christian myth also perpetuated the lie of a heliocentric model of the universe with the Sun as the center of that universe, with everything revolving around the Sun / Son.

^^^ This is why the Luciferian masonic cults tell us the SUN is 93 million miles away.

The Sun is NOT 93 million miles away. See also: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=the+sun+is+close

It's their homage to "Saturn". (note: there is also other occult significance to their use of the number 93, which is worth looking into...)

(And yes, the same people invented the English alphabet which is based on numbers. And that's also why the word Saturn is tailored to sum to 93. See also: Gematria)

PS; Why do you think the Jesuit twats @ the Vatican fund a telescope named "L.U.C.I.F.E.R."?

Same bullshit, different piles.

 Cool

This is good stuff. It's simple.

Saturn = 93.

Uranus = 94.

Neptune = 95.

Jupiter, the king = 99.

^^^ Good one. What are the chances? lol  Grin

Makes you wonder.

Screw everyone! the earth is just a figment of your imagination. You are not real, we're all not real. We are just series of blocks mined by an unknown entity.

Go team #screweveryone!

I am still me. And you are not me.

So perhaps, I am real. And so are you.

Such existential crisis. Much wow.

"National Aeronautics and Space Administration"

= 13+26+7+18+12+13+26+15 + 26+22+9+12+13+26+6+7+18+24+8 + 26+13+23 + 8+11+26+24+22 + 26+23+14+18+13+18+8+7+9+26+7+18+12+13

= 666 (Reverse Ordinal)

What are the odds?
