...it is proven that Tesla payments can be paid via bitcoin because of what? because bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency and there are so many enthusiasts
In May of last year, Tesla refused to sell cars for bitcoin. In his Twitter https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1392602041025843203, Elon Musk explained this by saying that "Tesla has suspended vehicle purchases using Bitcoin. We are concerned about rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for Bitcoin mining and transactions, especially coal, which has the worst emissions of any fuel". And over the past year, nothing has changed in the form of Tesla payment.
The funny thing about that is that this won't change a thing, the network still needs to run one way or another.

I know it looks bad ATM, but they do seem hopeful for that set of upgrades that are coming with that race. As they mentioned, they already froze the current design of the MCL60 about a month or two ago, because they realized that they wouldn't get what they were aiming at aerodynamically, which is why they're looking for that race as it will probably represent a drastic change in philosophy for that segment.
I've only seen the first day of pre-season and I've stopped there. I think that the first two races will tell much more than the test would do. Plus, if Mercedes is so far behind, I kinda doubt Aston Martin would be that close. I hope that the gaps (overall) are not that big and that we'll see some nice racing. I'm curious if Oscar or Nyck will perform some miracles on the grid; I wish they will
I watched the quali yesterday, and technically, McLaren improved over the last year, Lando P13 -> P11 (was 0.7 faster compared to 2022), Piastri (Ric) P19 -> P18. Technically
Realistically it's still a sh**box, and bottom line Lando once again is pulling a miracle here with what he has. He definitely looked frustrated in the post-quali interview.

Re: What happens if the block reward gets to it's minimal or lowest?
Transaction fee will gradually be replacing the mining reward fee. Any miners that do not see mining bitcoin to be profitable again will not mine again and leave it more profitable for the miners that are still mining.
Does this mean that the fee itself would be soo high that it wouldn't make sense for people to do day-to-day micro-transactions?

^ Yeah could be a rocky start but I'm pretty sure they'll get it right and have some decent development of their car. They have one of the best engineering teams in F1.
Stranges results from the tests, based on the predictions of sky journalists.
1 Red Bull 2 Ferrari
3 Mercedes 4 Aston Martin 5 Alpine 6 Alfa Romeo
7 The rest
I don't think this will happen. The Red Bull it seems to be very strong yes but I have the feeling that Ferrari can be faster.
Keep in mind they were slippery and they always used a low drag back wing profile, if they manage to use it without the slippery problem they will be unstoppable.
I would probably give McLaren a little bit more credit
I'm not sure what you're watching. Lol. McClaren sht itself again and Lando Norris is prolly thinking about his dumb decision of signing a long term contract for the team. That's gonna be more holes on the wall for the guy. I think his contract runs until 2028..? Tsk tsk...

Here's an idea - you could 3D print a Bitcoin "coin," something like this, and engrave the wallet's private key with your dedication message on the back of it.
And of course, explain to him how to use it and that he should not share that coin around. Or he could just transfer it to another wallet once he "opens up" his gift, you could help him out set everything up.

If you want to watch a preview of what to expect in the testing I found this informative video (rather short compared to all the rest I have viewed) and what the cars that were previewed should have changed during the testing.
Too early, next week we will have tests and cars will have new stuff onboard, new wings are never seen yet.
The teams usually uses fake wings for example on presentations to keep their secrets till the last moment possible.
Yes that is why I said we should have a closer look of what to expect in this season's cars then they can evaluate during testing what needs to stay and what gets thrown out. Maybe those Ferrari wings since they copied Mercedes and they got fined for it.
This overview is more to the teams and what the general things on the cars would look like such as the color matching and sponsorships: 2023 F1 liveries ranked! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_JWn5QEBPk
Sort of funny to see the marketing Alfa Romeo did during their welcome message by the drivers in a video posted on their media team's page. Skip to 2:27 minutes if you want to just watch this part of the video.
Kym is an awesome bloke, always love to see his content

This week will be an eventful one, starting from the new seasons of DTS to the Bahrain testing. Loved the Ferrari launch, it was definitely a step above everyone else this year.
Hopefully the F1 streaming app will get a proper upgrade this year as well.
Yes, that they are! On the other hand, the new M2 Mac Mini is actually quite a compelling purchase.
Why do I need him? I can buy this laptop for myself, but it is not cryptocurrency mining. I had an old macbook, but I installed Windows on it For mining, this investment will never pay off. And in a couple of years this model will become obsolete, and video cards are constantly making a profit.
Yeah, for mining no, I was just talking about in general for "regular computing."
The new M2 Pro and M2 Max models cost about $3,000 in the US or Europe, and in Russia these laptops are 30-50% more expensive. This is an expensive item that will attract unnecessary attention from thieves, so I see no reason to buy such a laptop. And for the office, this is an expensive purchase.
Was talking about the M2 Mini base model
Show me this model, if it costs less, then maybe I'll try another operating system. I'm not familiar with Apple laptops, so please provide a link to that laptop. But I don't like to spend a lot of money on laptops on which I do office tasks.
Is there any way to stop the miner from going 100% on all fans during start up? Limiting it to like 30-50 would drastically improve home mining conditions.

It's called "ChatGPT", yep... Did you see the word Chat?
It's a chatbot, not a trading bot. It being an AI chatbot does not mean it should make trade decisions for you lol. Forget about it. If you want to learn about trading, then it might help you with some theory and that is it.
That's true. Besides, I was surprised to find out ChatGPT does make mistakes. And I wasn't even asking it for some predictions or some disputable things but plain simple basic stats and well-known facts. I corrected it providing proof and it went "oh I'm sorry for misleading you" immediately.
Just the other I was trying it out, and it managed to fail a simple question like "Under which license does xyz brand operate?". Mind you, this info was something well available/displayed and probably asked a million times on the interwebz.
I wonder how many people are using it for article writing and not fact-checking the info.

Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run
Parents make a big mistake by keeping their children around and helping them regularly, making them defenseless and spoiled.
Multiple acquaintances of mine are stuck in these positions (mostly millennials). This is now slowly trickling down to Gen Z, and they seem to be even more incapable of living on their own as is, and I'm not talking here about providing for themselves, but just regular day-to-day stuff. It's a bit baffling, especially when information is at a reach of your fingertips.

Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ?
This also just came to me recently in a discussion - The fact that an individual themselves can be their own obstacle in case they overshoot their goals, especially having in mind what they are capable of becoming or doing.
This is probably the biggest obstacle, being realistic about these things.
Excessive fear (not daring to try new things, not dare to go further, always afraid to try before taking a step, don't dare to take a new opportunity, prefer to be in a safe position and don't dare to take challenges), and pessimistic. and there are many other traits and characteristics within us that become obstacles if we can't control them properly.
Those people just need that little bit of push. They do have the knowledge and ambition, but they're afraid to break their safe zone. Seen it multiple times, a good colleague of mine was in that spot, we managed to help her to start its business which is today successful.

That's true. Last time i tried that with Bitcoin Signet, i got compression ratio 0.63 (505MB / 798MB). For comparison, compression you choose have ratio about 0.81 (397GB / ~486GB).
This took over 2 hours on all CPU cores already.
Does faster drive (something like PCI-e 4.0 NVMe or regular even regular SATA SSD) mean anything in this case or is it only CPU bound? I assume that in this case the CPU and core clock (IPC performance too) is the most important aspect?

Long-term it's a no-brainer for me, especially in the last 40-50 years.
Yes, there's has been shifts, but amidst everything, I think it's very resilient and one of the standard go-tos in these times.
