How could it eliminate the need for ShapeShift?

We are thinking of changing the concept so that you don't send the tip anymore to the website but instead you play a little investment game around the newsworthiness (or relevance) of the URL (article, post, ...). Feedback welcome!

Not dead but sleeping. Firefox users can use the miniWallet which is on the website to send tips. But this did not catch on. So we need to change the concept. Keep your coins for now.

One time tips could be easily implemented. The wallet would send a transaction to a new privateKey (its address) and via clicking on the URL (which has the privKey) the miniWallet should be able to import it (if under the same domain). Will look into this soon!

Just deployed the CoinAwesome miniWallet with FireFox Support!


The miniWallet is a little wallet inside https://planetawesome.org and https://coinawesome.com and works with Firefox and Chrome and maybe even IE and Opera (if somebody wants to test). It supports sending to URLs (upvoting) as well as to AWE addresses.

We started working on a easy web tipping tool and wallet. Not as comfortable as the browser extension but hopefully more accessible.

We had a dev working on making it possible to use the QTclient to tip any websites. Unfortunately he needed to get a official job for visa reasons, so the development has rather stalled. If there is any experienced C++/QT-dev here, write us! It is a fairly easy job and we pay with AWEsome units

IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR ALL
We realized that after CoinAwesome is trading on an exchange it will be difficult to start the crowd-sale again as it was before. The reason is that when we do a crowd-sale in the same manner like before this might crash the price on the exchange and upset everybody. We are searching for ideas how to release the rest of the coins to the public. One idea was to sell all CoinAwesome AWE which are ment for sales for 1 bitcoin satoshi (0.00000001 BTC) for each AWE. This would be cheaper than the current exchange price, but would guarantee not to crash the CoinAwesome AWE price further down. Guys, what is your opinion on this?

Don't worry. Your system clock is most likely wrong and drifting to the future. This is a general security mechanism for PoS coins. Please check your system time with http://time.is and adjust it. Then let us know if it works please.
