Please update to the new wallet everyone, and thank you so far for the community and miner support for Kreds. Many of you will find some very good changes coming for Kreds in the source code. We must include all users and currency technology to be strong for when mainstream users are aware of Kreds. This is a step towards that strength.

our team advises the updating since it corrects general issues and prepares it for zKREDS. There was no fork in the blockchain.

I still have to do this. Just got a new laptop to house some wallets only. I need to update to the new KREDS wallet. I've been sending coins using the old one, without issue......but I don't want to risk it.

Do you plan to recycle some company profits back into the acquisition of JNS or Kreds tokens? What is your plan for those tokens?

We all know how crypto is. Unless there are whales involved or mass adoption, the best projects just flounder. I'm hoping with Kreds targeting the masses, that this "norm" finally changes. But if you (Janus team) add buy pressure to the market this will only help solidify this crypto currency.
In order for Kreds to succeed we need mass adoption. The number of tokens with the MN and mining payouts will constantly generate sell pressure. If we don't have the support, it could sink it. I realize that this takes time, but my hope is that Kreds is a super popular crypto with a lot of trade volume generated daily.
Trade volume is how you get people to notice. Or getting listed on a major exchange helps too.....

Did i hear somewhere that an android wallet is coming? What kind of functionality will it have?
That's ahead of almost every new coin that has come out in the last 2 months. I can't even think of a project that released an android wallet this soon after starting.

Ah...I found the information I was seeking with a bit of digging. Would have been nice if SMART shared this info early on instead of all of us wondering why our funds were locked on these different exchanges. Kind of shitty if you ask me. But if you don't know, here's the info.

Edit: I still do like this project and I do see a lot of potential. And I'm sure in time all will be forgotten, since crypto is so near-minded. But to me, this will always be a black mark against this currency.

Oh mate I think you didn't backread far enough the dev actually posted that in this thread, he informed everyone that there has been a zerocoin exploit that really affected the smartcash network that's why he requested the exchanges to pause their wallet and to stop this coin from being traded in order to prevent fake coins from circulating and getting into the wallets of smartcash users. The dev has been very transparent from the start, he informed everyone about the exploit and once the issues has been resolves, he announced on here that there has been a wallet update to make sure that users are only receiving the real coins and not the fake ones, and then he requested the exchanges to also update their wallets so that trading can finally resume but unfortunately exchanges are taking so much time to resume trading and now it's really affecting the devs reputation and also this project's legitimacy, which is not the dev's fault in any way.
That is probably the issue then. I mean if he made it known as soon as he knew about it then good. That's the way it should have been handled. However, that being said, he should have posted the information on the first page of this ANN thread. Most people don't sift through the pages and pages of BS on the subsequent following pages.

CMC form was sent yesterday because at least 50k daily transcation is a requirement i couldnt apply before. They asked 7 days to list. Im going to check Blockfolio right now.

So why is a rollback necessary, and why wasn't this communicated earlier. Instead you (dev) kept saying it was just a wallet issue with the exchanges.
Can we have some additional information? Were coins stolen, and if so where were they stolen from? How many are we talking about?

A lot of really good developments over the last few days. Getting added to a decent exchange was a big first step. Getting added to masternodes.online is REALLY big for exposure. I know that's the first place I look when I'm trying to add a MN to my portfolio. And the cost of getting enough coins for a MN is extremely reasonable right now!
When POW ends at block 48000, this shit is going to explode. The only way new coins will be generated starting at block 48001 will be via POS and this will only be 10 coins per block (right now it's 55 per block). You figure most of it will be tied up to get rewards.
Get in early would be my advice. I'm trying to save for a second MN myself.
Plus, I'm not gonna lie, but the coin name is catchy and pretty baddass. That's kind of important.

Is this gainer, tok and xuv have the same issues? Or what can you say about those projects? I heard they are being popular now and their coins already have a good value now.
The issue that we brought up was that this dev is the same as that of XUV, which was his first ICO. It didn't do that well. So he merged XUV with TOK, also his coin, without saying anything to the community but to tell them they had 4 days to exchange their XUV to TOK (over christmas). Then he started the Gainer coin ICO. We linked it to being the same dev as TOK because of his Github. When we posted on this thread about it he deleted our comments. But the ball started rolling so he came out and admitted to being the TOK dev and said some bullshit about it being his first love and he will always hold it close to his heart. What coin will he start next? Can you be a successful dev of multiple coins? I bet one will suffer. But I'm sure this will be deleted, so quoting it might help.
