HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

I agree with everything you wrote here, but just wanted to add that whenever you use PUBLIC WIFI (sometimes you simply don't have choice), you should use a VPN service, which will prevent you from many troubles.

Thank you!

When will the youtube and other websites start to pay us with bitcoin?

I don't think we need direct payments from YouTube. What's the use of it? What we need is just unlimited settlements in BTC on every site and between people.

Beyond doubt it will. Even sooner than you might expect Wink

I agree with that. All it needs to become more mainstream, is a good financial crisis. Tongue
What is this one going to be ? I bet EU sovereign debts !
After that, when all the existing has been wiped, these new models will thrive.

Right. A good financial crisis could be a catalyst for the new paradigm to be shaped and it looks like nobody really knows what it will be in the end.

Re: If we lived in a libertarian society

I'm not sure we will ever live in a truly libertarian society in the original sense of the word because libertarian idea implies government decentralization, which is seen by many as a utopian idea. I like the core idea of Libertarianism, but is it really possible?

shouldn't we plant billions of trees now?....
'
No.

You do that, you are disturbing existing ecosystems without caring about them.

Okay, maybe planting billions of trees sounds a little too much to me, too, but what about illegal (or legal, whatever(?)) deforestation? Isn't is disturbing existing ecosystems without caring about them? Didn't it even occur to anyone that we must at least compensate for the harm we have already done to balance it out?

Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations?

I can't see how global Regulations could possibly ruin bitcoin. The very idea of regulating/restricting/banning, etc. bitcoin contradicts the idea of decentralization. I'm not much of an IT expert, but is it technically possible at all? Some global regulations might limit our ability to change btc to fiat, which is unpleasant, but by no means fatal. The worst thing that can happen under a scenario like that is that btc (crypto) might have to go underground. But I don't believe any government would be willing to do so because a government consists of people, just like you and me, who must be collecting their own coins (btc included) while reading this post Wink

Just because measuring against something tangible should be way more convenient, I guess Wink
