Re: 🚀 [ANN] ColossusCoinXT COLX - Coin Swap - Fair Launch, no ICO/ IPO! 🚀 Released

I think it is important for any coin to get listed on multiple trusted exchanges. The more the better so things don't go bad when one exchange is in maintenance or something

Yeah - it's hard to get a read on what is going on price wise if it is so hard to buy and sell.     Hopefully these exchanges get on the ball.  Hopefully the COLX devs hear back from  the exchanges they applied for.   If COLX can get listed on Kucion, Cryptopia and CryptoBridge,  that will be a huge boost.

Cryptopia and CryptoBridge Listing is Paid (11.5 BTC paid worth of DOT/ 0.5 BTC for Cryptobridge!!!) and in process. <7 Days COLX will be listed on 1 of these Exchanges for sure!

Still waiting for Cryptopia. Dev Team paid about 11.5 Btc worth of DOT!!

Are you confient Cryptopia will make a turn? I could not do any trades with LTC or DOGE for more than a week and the BTC fees + minimum trade value required are not a good environment for coins of low value - so for now, that sucks i think...

I'm interested in why you think Cryptopia will be a strong support, because i am keeping my distance from Cryptopia for some time.
CoinExchange is pretty rad though.

So coinsmarket will never open again? Everybody with mut coin blocked? Wtf

WTF indeed - You are the only person i have seen claim both of your statements... where did you even get that from?

My MUT is staking fine and CoinsMarkets seems to make the proper effort to get thing back online. Obviously they make quite the bag of dosh, and losing out on it during this downtime... The site comes on and off - while being unresponsive; but the update messages and news change, so there is work being done.

Maybe you better have a nice big cup of "calm the fuck down" and watch a movie or play a game or something, while you wait.
I know it's unnerving, but we freaking out and starting rumors, doesn't help at all.

Of course i could be mistaking and you could be right, but i don't see anything supporting your worries. And getting worked up does nothing good.

So, just sit back and try to relax Wink

Hey guys,
i got a few questions i could not find any answer for, so i figured i ask here. People might look here right...

I am using XMR Stak, both gpu and cpu, with shitty hardware and about 150 H/s btw. Probably only for fun a bit... Anyways

So first thing is about difficulty and results:
I read that some pools reward higher difficulty shares better, others based on percentage etc - but i can't find any real explanation... or info per pool either.
Is it linear? The value of a share; diff 1000 worth 10*diff 100; Kinda like that?

Then when i hit "R" to print the results, i get that top 10 table. Does that also correspond to the value of my shares?

Lastly about the "Your Stats & Payment History" lookup on the pools website (currently etn.uax.io, but the official one is identical, afaik).
I have been mining for about 2 hours now, results show 45/45 accepted shares,
but when i look up (in my browser) it says last share about 17 hours ago and 0H/s...

So am i wasting energy right now, or is that updated ... in some way i don't get?

Thanks for any effort made to clear things up Wink

hello support i have deposit bitcoin to the glasscoin platform in order to buy , but i don't unerstand why i can't buy this coin , can you explain me why ?

you should have considered, that they for "security reasons" do not say who their team is - because you might be angry once you realize, your bitcoin is gone and you can't get it back... just my thoughts after seeing they actively avoid giving any information...

Don't invest into platforms that don't tell you who the team behind it is; you don't know:
 - is the team even real?
 - if it is real, are they qualified to do what they advertise?
 - does the team has any experience and prior failures or successes?
 - who do you punch when they steal your money?

I'll happily invest if i can answer those questions satisfyingly, until then i hope you get your money's worth or at least learn to research... obviously i hope things turn out well for you!

You realize that you make us work just like a normal faucet claimer, solve captcha and view ads and close popups.

I've done my work, i've promoted your site, now i have to work double, u out of your mind?

Not to point fingers or accuse anybody, but there is the common ...thing... of many faucet owners not regarding the payouts earned...

You can see that in the way they advertise and word their faucets. "Free BTC" and "Reward" - it's Earning
The fact, that there is a quasi-symbiotic relationship going on is either overlooked or not recognized.

Faucet users aka ad-revenue-enablers are earning whatever crypto they claim
by providing the service of looking at insultingly stupid adds and dealing with reCaptcha.

That being said;
I haven't had that impression concerning bitGolden or bitSilver for example (so far), but you know, it's pretty common...

I can imagine there being a rush because of the BTC-Gold fork and all. So i reckon things will normalize Wink

I'm glad to see that you took the raCaptcha crap from half of your main pages.

However, you now have them in your bonus links (that are really mandatory to make it worthwhile  Wink ).
That brings the same problem as before, half of the time the google captchas just freeze half way trough and i need to refresh the page...
The other half i get this: {"status":"error","message":"Bad Request.","url":""} ... and have to refresh the page...
I know that's not your fault (most likely) but it drives me off, each time i want to give your faucet a try.

I'm using that "Force Cache Loading" FireFox plugin so that refreshing websites takes slightly less than a day.
But if disabled the result is the same, just taking 3 time as long...

Thought i'd let you know - have a good one!

Yeah gets me too slowly -.-'

For the last week withdraw was not possible and the saying was "keep claiming" - well usually that worked, to be fair <- edit: only the butUniverse and hueFacet did not pay at all

Now i would need 2 days to payout if they would actually pay out 100 satoshi per hour... they don't... <- edit: only the butUniverse and hueFacet do not pay all the time

That's not even funny, no matter how dark your humor.

To you guys who work with referral stuff:
you should not wait and eventually stop promoting, you should stop until they fix stuff...

edit: i had not noticed yet, that ALL of these faucets have set this limit -.-

Someone deduced from it, pays still or not?

If you have started claiming, stop until someone has been able to withdraw - i have not and i haven't heard of anyone (except that one sock-puppet) who said they have been payed.

For now: NO, doesn't pay

yeah, i also get the insufficient funds error - are you gonna refill, or are you done?

To be fair, the bitgolden and related faucets are empty for a day every now and then, but they do refill reliably.
So how about you? Maybe it's night at your place and you are asleep or something, so won't yell "scam" yet.
There should maybe be a fallback plan though - or at least a message addressing that.

Could you make a statement concerning that?

Cloudmining Profit Calculation result in loss, always. Am i doing it wrong?
by
Cpt. Moe
on 30/09/2017, 20:44:00 UTC
Huh I don't get why every cloud mining contract i check turns out non profitable???

So info:
I'm poor, scraping together cryptos from faucets; to become rich - of course.
I want to invest some into cloud mining - Hashflare has a pretty low entry barrier with $2 for 100Kh/s of ETH.
So i want to buy 30-40 KH/s depending on the btc transmission fees and whether i can grab a packet of dash in one go, or if that would result in 2 fees.
...for starts - more as i can effort it... eventually migrate or spread to Genesis mining and such...

Anyways, i punch the numbers (ie. 100kH/s) into any profit a mining calculator and it gives me a result of ~$1.70 a year.
That's $0.30 less than what i payed for the one year contract ... why would anybody buy that? I must be making some mistake.

used these:
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth
https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/

Of course that scales up to 1 0r 10MH/s just the same.
I get that we all think and hope that values go up - but that is not good reason for a purchase...
Also compounding is a thing that i will do - but it looks weird...
Anybody here who can shed some light on my conundrum?

Thanks for all the efforts you might be willing to make Wink

edit: i did read a few of the profitability related threads from the past years, but it didn't really enlighten me... in case anyone is wondering...

edit2: Alright, so the more i read and look and calculate it looks like i am indeed doing it right. It just is not profitable, eh? ...poop...
So the only remaining question would be, why people buy it then? It's probably my fault for doing research and reading TOS and stuff Roll Eyes

I've been payed out multiple times by most of these as well - i guess sometimes the faucet is empty and people sleep now and then... i wouldn't worry.

I'd also like to see that people read a bit of the thread before yelling accusations again about stuff already cleared. But we all do, right Wink

Hi, ah ... i ... i just looked at your faucet...

So... i love Doge - it's kewl (WOW).

however - it just got back up to $0.001 per Coin; so you weighted average of 0.033 Doge payout is worth $0.000033.

For that you are using ReCaptha, a 30 second claim button timer and 5 minutes cool down...

I just wanted to let you know, that i can't imagine a person considering that worth their time.

You might want to re-design it a bit. You know, to make it a successful faucet.

No hard feelings Wink

While i would call them 10-Seconds-Faucets, i really like them - ReCaptcha is of course a mighty pain in the butt with it's ambiguous tasks (how much % of whatever has to be in a tile for it to be checked again?)

Any chance you consider using another Captcha? - like that puzzle piece one or the "bring the worm to the apple" or something - you know, one that has clear lose-win conditions Wink

Also what about Dash? Y U NO DASH ... WOW?

keep it up yo Grin

Re: Can browser mining systems replace faucets
by
Cpt. Moe
on 30/09/2017, 00:16:55 UTC
I tried one of those minings today... 8 satoshi in about 45 minutes lol.... and that is without deducting the amount spent on electricity. Really a waste of time.

Not worth it at all. Fauceting is still more profitable.

Yeah right? - I don't know of course where everybody is from - but for me in western Europe it's ~60cents (€) per kw/h - so i effectively loose a lot of money if i'd use it.
Not to mention the massive slowdown, fan-party and stress on my notebook...

The real question should be why people don't realize that themselves and why do rather trusted platforms like faucet hub not provide calculators.
Giving the option is fine, if proper disclosed...

...also tons websites don't work correctly if coin-hive is blocked -.-'

I won't even go into the cases where the script is run in the background

So everybody just say away from that please!

Now it shows me 11,000 satoshis as frozen.

Why they are frozen? I am not getting paid from last 3 months.

Have you experienced any change in your balance, or is it still frozen?
I just today passed the minimum for automatic payout and upon checking noticed that my balance is frozen as well... don't know since when or why.

I don't know if any of my plugins are triggering any alarm bells (false alarm that would be) - but even if that was the case, it should have prevented claiming - so it says on the page...
I can't see any FAQ or otherwise explanation -.-'

..poop...
