Prefork wallet restorastion?
by

Cast your mind back kiddies...to the pre BTC/BSV/BCH forks.

I have an older wallet.dat for old skool bitcoincore that works fine with latest bitcoin core. Being that old, it doesnt have a set of recovery passwords.

To claim post fork BSV / BCH wallets, what "wallet.dat" compatible wallets do ppl recommend these days?

VIN ICO tokens for sale
by
Cranky4u
on 29/12/2020, 01:47:47 UTC
I have 16~17K VIN tokens, from ICO a few years ago, and they are for direct P2P sale.

Having been out of the game for 3~5 years, I couldn't be bothered jumping through the hoops to sell off these tokens via tigercoin exchange https://www.cointiger.com/en-us/#/trade_center?coin=vin_eth

They are trading at 15~20sats...I would be happy to sell at ~12 sats.

VIN chain business is still going strong but I just don't have time to follow and would prefer to consolidate my accounts right now. https://vinchain.io/

If you are interested in 16~17K VIN for ~0.002BTC / ~0.075ETH then pls drop me a PM.

Use a public campaign claiming BTC is used for money laundering, funding criminals / terroists and unsafe. Oh, hang on, they have already been saying that for the past 5 years...

Anyone else agree we are already past the fight section?

I think we are now in the 'lets compete by making an authorised version' hence the big banks and government moving to blockchain technology whilst still ridiculing crypto-currencies in general.

Love lifting steel and boxing but family commitments have me limited to 2~4 sessions a week, normally 6am~7am. Been on the weights on and off for over 20 years now...

At rest, I have 16 inch guns, currently I get enough pump that they vein up despite not being a gym junky whom tries to cut fat. 6ft (182cm) tall, 215lb (98kg) with full sets of squat [chair rack] of 440lb (200kg), arm curls of 50lb (22.5kg) and lat pull downs (my favourite) of 175lb (80kg).

Anyone else wanna share fav stats?

okay  I know 1 really trustworthy person in Australia he runs a pool

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.0

his name is kano

if you have tons of cheap power you would be a good match with him.

post on his pool's thread ask for aussie's that mine with him and ask him.

to me  you should fit well with him.

Note the Cranky4u  above has just changed his password as a warning :

many times that means a new person has purchased the account to rob or  the account was stolen.

If you do any business with him be very careful

I changed my damn password because I keep forgetting the damn thing when I jump between work / home. On another note, I HAVE been active in BTC since 2011 and have seen the birth of many a shitcoin since. For the past 6 months, I have tasken a backseat with BTC as I have been poking around with some renewal energy activities.

Re: Please run a full node

I run a full node whenever my PC is on so I can solo-mine whilst playing games / photography / etc...

I am also on the hunt for old miners for an Aussie solar panel system I am putting in...if you want to help strengthen the network, consider all those old dust collecting miners you have and now think about donating some.

Details from my marketplace post...

Please consider supporting crytpocurrency security with active distributed hashing, not consolidated into a handful of big miners / pools. If you have any old ASIC miners of any type that are currently door stoppers / dust collectors, please consider donating the items to an Aussie for strengthening the networks.

I am an electrical engineer that is putting some of my crypto into a modest stand alone solar / wind system using salvaged parts;
1. ~480W of solar panel
2. MPPT regulator
3. 2 car batteries
4. 3 UPS
5. 10 year old motherboard with AMD dual core processor
6. 30GHs R-Box (SHA-256) consumes 30W
7. 5GHs Butterfly labs consumes 30W

With this set up, I can establish some stand-alone ASIC miners to help strengthen the networks.

I am on the look out for:
1. Old ASIC miners of any type

I have some spoondoolies to cover shipping costs....

I used my own BTC profits to install a 1.5kW solar panel system ~5years ago. I would be very interested in exploring a 'expansion' of the SPP model to create an Australian opportunity in central Victoria. Whom should I chat with on the SPP deve team to start the ball rolling?

That is awesome!  Hit me up and we can chat about it...

PM sent  Smiley

Also belongs in Computer hardware and not just goods, please move the thread to the correct place. I also wasn't aware R-Boxes came in 30Mh varieties, pretty sure that's 30GH/30W.

No worries, will move. Yeah, R-box is 30GH/30W so will mod too.

Sounds like the Antminer S3 is perfect for your wattage limit, I have one but I am US based so I don't know how well it work.

Power compaitability is not an issue as the S3 wants 12VDC. Gerat thing about most small miners, they take 12VDC so I can basically slap them straight onto the storage batteries (small bateery controller in-between connects/disconnects the supply when the batteries get low).

If your S3 is collecting dust and you are willing to donate it, PM me and we could work out shipping.
