Awesome!

We happen to currently be in a period of possibly almost "perfect storm", inasmuch as of the two crypto platforms we are currently using one of them, the Stellar platform, has just very recently now displayed a nice surge back upward toward the value it had about half a year ago or more, so is looking quite likely now to soon be back into a "useful" range...

...While both the other platform we use, HORIZON, and the reference coin we use as our default "unit of account" when displaying the "Latest Rates" values computed for our game assets, are still in the depths of a "post dump doldrums" meaning both of them (HZ and DVC) are "insanely" cheap on their "spot markets".

Those facts combine to make this an almost ideal moment to enter.

Not fully ideal because Stellar has already climbed a lot thus having picked up a stash of Stellar back when it was in the 9 to 10 cents USD range or lower would obviously have been even better, but still almost ideal both because Stellar still has a good way to go to regain its levels of less than a year ago and because both HZ and DVC are currently still crazy-cheap because people's gains in these last few days of altcoin bull market have not yet gobbled up all the cheap HZ and DVC.

The "spot market" for HZ is itself on Stellar too so while Stellar is still down relatively entry is aided not just by the insanely low price of HZ as measured in XLM but also by XLM not having fully recovered yet.

HZ has been problematic for a long time now because at least one of its "whales" that discovered the fact the Galactic Milieu is using the HORIZON platform chose to totally trash its value rather than using their position as one of its "whales" to ratchet it upward in value and keep taking more and more and more of it "off the markets" in the Galactic Milieu's tradition of accumulating coins and tokens not for dumping but rather to take more and more of more and more things "off of the markets", since utimately money is IOUs so the goal of issuers should of course be to "buy back" their IOUs, their real value being in the very fact that they exist for the very purpose of being "bought back"...

Probably the best place to start with establishing values is with the "RPG" (Role Playing Game) currency, which is typically things like copper pieces, silver pieces, gold pieces, platinum pieces and so on.

Those are usually not hard to come up with an equivalence for, for example we correlate CoffeeMUD's goldpieces with Crossfire RPG's goldpieces directly, and even correlate the "credits" in the web-based game "Galaxy Forces" with Crossfire RPG's platinum pieces.

From there we are able to convert into crypto simply by using the asset MGOLD (MUD gold) on HORIZON or AMBerium (Crossfire RPG's Amberium piece, equivalent to 50k gold pieces, 10k platinum pieces, or 100 jade pieces - a jade is 100 platinum, a platinum is 5 gold) on Stellar.

Yeah, I took a look at your site and some other links, but it's very detailed for a quick glance. You'd probably 100% "get" the CK stuff if you saw it. Anyway, sent you an email with more detail to your address on your profile, so we can continue the conversation there. Or if that email doesn't work, send me a DM with one that does or your handle on Telegram or Discord or something.

Partly because the Galactic Milieu has historically already been rescuing "dead" or "endangered" cryptos, I am a little curious as to whether your data retains enough ownership data to enable at least some kind of attempted continuance in which all the characters for example could be set up with something(s) in lieu of, and maybe even in emulation of, the things they had.

Of the places-and-things representations the Milieu uses possibly Crossfire-RPG could work to set up a representation of characters and places that existed? Or maybe CoffeeMUD might be better?

Maybe a team could organise via this thread to brainstorm on details?

If value can be re-injected into the thing maybe given enough players who owned enough things we can re-inject value into could raise however much you might be looking to sell for, or maybe you could even consider being paid in the very media of the representation(s) of it all that we manage to inject value into?

Hi: Just so happened to randomly check BTCTalk and saw your message. I have replied to the email account you provided on your profile with more detail so we can continue the conversation there.

To answer some questions publicly in case anyone else is looking. Yes to the first part about ownership data. Full record of all items, land, buildings, etc. per user account. Full transaction history too and XMR spent as well. Not an RPG/MUD person on my end.

But yes, with 2013 Bellscoin, Luckycoin, and so on being revived and going to $10mil+, there is certainly potential here since this was essentially the first crypto game at scale, it just wasn't fully on blockchain and only used XMR as on and off ramps. I remember there was HunterCoin that was very basic and maybe fully on chain? Then the Crypto Kingdom project, which predated BitCrystals and so on?

Still amazing that even after all these years, if you look at the "Altcoin Discussion" section and rank by views, CK's original thread is #2 by views even though its been inactive since 2018 or so.

What is this from? Looks to be a giant video?

Did some of the older stuff in this thread get deleted, like the "Garza Sex Tape?" I was trying to share the start of recent Garza fuckery with some others, but it looked like a lot was missing? Did Garza get posts taken down?

Double bump...

Bump.

If anyone is interested, I would like to sell the following domains related to this project:

cryptokingdom.me
cryptokingdom.com
cryptokingdom.gold

The .me domain was the original one Risto used, and I had to acquire the .com on the secondary market since he didn't think to register it when he started the project.

Additionally, I am willing to sell the complete game database and source code. The code is nothing fancy at all. Actually you'll be shocked at how bad it is considering how much Risto spent on it. But someone could possibly use the database and historic price data to create NFTs or a reboot or something. I mean there are some insane levels of "proof of burn" or "proof of value" to Crypto Kingdom items, considering items as pointless as unicorns went for 1000+ XMR in the past.

The database also has user email and account information, so if you wanted to airdrop assets to old users, it is possible for those that included a way to recover their accounts.

Please contact me via direct message if interested.

And heck, I posted this on the speculation thread, so I'll do the same here. It's Crypto Kingdom (CK) related, which all the XMR oldheads should at least have a passing familiarity with...

I periodically check this thread [XMR Speculation] and saw a couple comments regarding Risto (rpietila). This is somewhat off topic, but I'd like for someone to do something with this Crypto Kingdom (CK) stuff. I know it wasn't handled properly from a crypto standpoint, but this was essentially one of the first semi-complicated crypto-connected games that I'm aware of. If Risto had tied the assets into ERC-20 or something, maybe we'd be talking about CKPunks instead of CryptoPunks all over the financial news... Cry

If anyone is interested, I would like to sell the following domains related to CK:
