I have over 120k there and left my miners going at 1.2MH/s no blocks discovered in a long time that pool is dead. Makes me wonder if pool is dead why would admin release funds? It would be great to recover the dogecoin but at this point I doubt it.

Identity under escrow would be great reassurance but if the business is running smoothly should technically run fine as the owner has incentive to keep it runnin. However if any of the old timers remember it could be mybitcoin esque. I am depositing with a non popular bank we'll see how long it takes.

I'm in a very similar boat as you. I just setup earlier this evening as a seller. Testing the waters and will report back. The feedback did seem legit enough and that pushed me to try it. I will report back here as well. My account is 4 months old  is that worth anything even though I'm dealing with bitcoin since 2011.

Again, where is this "blockchain" price???

I have used blockchain.info for at least 18 months.  Since I read this thread, I have clicked around and I don't see such a price anywhere.  I do see a "market" tab on the top of the site but the link has been down for at least two days.

I WANT you to make a profit, and I understand that nobody is getting money out of gox.  That is the whole reason I am here in this section of the forum.
Unfortunately Blockchain.info no longer gets its price from Mt.Gox  Cry kind of stinks for a lot of buyers who go by Gox. but I understand where OP is coming from. I will have to evaluate and see what I do.

is this your first auction of selling shares?

Where did you get these from?

4@3.9 WITH John K Escrow

Sadly I don't know much about you nor do you have much history which is why the escrow.
Didn't notice this post, with John K as escrow you have to message him letting him know, and he'll send us both the details and his "verbal contract" I can initiate the escrow after auction if you ask. Any questions PM me or skype me or post here.

Read the OP in the first auction you responded to and look at my trust feedback. The first auction is very detailed on how I obtained them and both topics explain how to verify that I own the shares.

Please read the following the entire post after this is a signed message from which you can verify the address and the message itself, you can see also in its history that I sold shares and my outstanding shares have become lower (by checking dividend payments) Also I have successful auctions and transactions look at my trust page.

Please note that I am requesting no escrow for this auction as I need the BTC by today! I also accept moneypak either btc or moneypak is fine. I am doing this in a public space I am not here to scam anyone and I have dealt with 3 separate forum members in selling shares 2 with John K as escrow and the last no escrow (video chat + trading Driver License).

Any questions or to contact me you may use Skype: CrazyMiata or PM me here. I also use this handle for multiple other sites. We could even do screen share on http://join.me so you can view me prepare the message to Friedcat after 1 confirmation I will hit the send button.

I had the private key in a PDF but that was weeks ago and not recoverable. By any chance you know how I can brute force or at least how it's encrypted? Sorry if its a noob question.

"Provided AES key is wrong."
by
CrazyMiata
on 12/07/2013, 04:37:13 UTC
Alright so I am getting ready to format my laptop and going through backing everything up and I realize I forgot my password! Oyyy!

It was imported from a private key that I printed from Armory but I deleted that PDF and no longer have access to the private key(fuck!)

I'm trying to systematically go through my passwords and combinations but it drives me INSANE that I cannot hit enter to try a password.
The dialog I am using to test for my password is the remove password dialog. On all of my tries it will say that the error is that it "Could not decrypt bytes"

How ever when trying one of my familiar more secure passwords I get "Provided AES key is wrong."

This is driving me crazy because this is where my ASICMINER dividends get paid out to! As a worst case scenario I do have a bunch of GPUs maybe I can use Hashcat and try to brute force the wallet password, is this possible?

Does this mean that password that yields AES key is wrong is a correct password? or maybe its missing something? If I add a character I get the could not decrypt bytes message.

Any help would be immensely appreciated and will lead to a tip if I can remember or recover my damn password, for now I will quietly weep in a corner.

Yes, I did I only downloaded the 64bit installers, I tried one of the 32bit installers to see if it would work to no avail. There was a bug noted by the author that the installers installs Armory into the wrong directory "Program Files (x86)" Anyways I just exported the private key, formated it for MultiBit and am using that. I would rather use Armory though. Hate the idea of having Java installed.
