Did bitcoin lose its value?
In the era of pandemic 2020, Federal Reserve Bank printed paper currency notes which ultimately decreased the value of us dollar USD. And in that period, Bitcoin btc was also stagnant and did not move much. So did bitcoin has losen its value with usd? If yes then similarly other fiat currencies like usdb, usdt etc. also lose their value with devaluation of us dollar.
not directly but in buying power? yes
by me, price will adjust itself in time to this, price of bitcoin in dollars will go up
as noone can predict bitcoin future, its only speculation

Re: How much credibility should we give to UTXO analysis?
by
Cruxer
on 07/03/2019, 22:26:59 UTC
The UTXO pool is a database of all of the transactions that are currently unspent. I'm seeing some analysis of this, and there is an assumption that the coins are held by HODLers  if the entries are more than a year old.
is it possible to you provide data for example sum of all unspent bitcoins with more than a year status? about your question im not really sure if asking beginners is best course of action here Tongue if you really want to know answer to this, im not sure here but such data provided would maybe help to determine this

Re: #Deletecoinbase - Agree or Disagree?

Considering the big controversy around Coinbase, how do you feel about the movement? I haven’t really found anyone protecting them with good arguments, so i’d love to know if anyone here has an opposing opinion and think ‘deleting coinbase’ is too far?
it is too far, they are unique in terms of easy to use semi exchange, there is a reason they are most popular or almost most popular service
they did many mistakes, they were almost shady many times, but still they beat their opponents by far

Re: Top 3 advices Regarding Bitcoin Investing
by

If you could only give 3 advices to someone who’s new and wants to invest in Bitcoin, what would you tell them?
1. do due diligence first, know what you are doing and what you investing in
2. decide how much in risky investment is comfortable for you to spend
3. keep with your decision to either invest or not, don't be in middle sometimes wanting to sell sometimes wanting to buy, this will make you loose your money

Re: wallet securing !!

how to choose a more secured wallet ??
is the secure of the wallet depending on transaction fees ??
as many stated above i confirm that transaction fee has nothing to do here, your best bet is hardware wallet, most secure but most expensive, i recommend here software wallets or online wallets
keep in mind you need to be able to secure enviroment with your software wallet

Will it be real to pay for cryptocurrency medical services? Or maybe a car purchase?

bitcoin already doing that, there is not need of anything else in this matter, you can measure it by $ value or gold value or food value its all the same in the end Smiley

Re: Reminder: Your funds are NOT safe in third-party wallets

This is probably among the most basic things which anyone that uses cryptocurrencies should know, if it's not in your personal wallet it's not yours yet
only software wallet or even online wallet but you must be in control of private key of address you have, only that guarantees you control over your coins, letting 3rd party to do that, is putting trust in this 3rd party and bitcoin was designed to be able to not need to trust anybody other than yourself Smiley

Why is bitcoin reduced price an opportunity to buy?
its not, you are looking at this wrong, price is opportunity to buy when you KNOW it will go up, not in any other moment because it can always go lower so better opportunity would be to wait not buy. its easy and complicated in same time, its market, you never know for sure

how to choose a more secured wallet ??
it depends on what device for example. if you  are using online wallet, its similiar security. if you are using mobile wallets for smartphone it will be less secure and of course desktop wallets could be most secure but could be also vulnerable, depends on user

is the secure of the wallet depending on transaction fees ??
no, transaction fee is measure of how quick your transaction will be processed in Bitcoin network

without proper trading signal its kinda tough to make profits from crypto trading. But never forget signal is like just a rumour.
this is problem, because you never know if signal is interesting to most (price diff) or not and price dont move. topic title is sensational but everything you wrote is just golden advices like trade good, accumulate wins not losses etc. nothing about some specific trading tactic etc :/

increasing my BTC by 10% a week (compounded) and wondering what is the best way to do this

man, there is no such thing possible on constant basis
be ready for massive losses on so intensive trading, noone find that formula yet because he would be insanely rich after hundreds of weeks since BTC started

Re: How to calculate sell after all fees
by
Cruxer
on 04/03/2019, 05:20:02 UTC
In crypto trading i never calculate trading fee because that small percentace from target profit, i have minimum 7% pertrade for taking profit. Lets say i make profit 7% per trade and reduce it with trafing fee 0.1% so my total profit will be 7-0.1 = 6.9%.
easiest solution from all others
im using other one, from all my trades daily i subtract constant % amount becaue after all average is pretty much accurate, also its like spending $1000 in market, u don't care about pennnies then do you?
if you really want to be accurate, save all your trades in excel sheet with simple equations to calculate fee's automatically

Re: day trading is like having sex

I think this exactly explains day trading. I am a day trader myself. I rather get in and out of the market 50-100 times a day and take small profits with smaller amounts of my balance than trying to chase a couple percent in 1 trade.
sure, quite funny but its day-trading, its all about many quick trades per day by definition
i prefer this style of trading from many, because it allows me to constantly increase my bankroll (reference to bankroll not by mistake, its almost like gambling)

I think beside Bitfinex and Gate.io , other exchange that has feature to place sell limit and stop loss in single potition is ZB.com. This is  new exchange but now already include top 10 exchange. They listed alot of potential coin to trade. I hope Binance as the biggest crypto exchange add this feature so trading will be more easy to make profit with less risk.
i prefer to trust biggest on market and beign estabilished on market for years
for above example my choice is bitfinex, its most versatile, allow everything i need and stop loss is very important

Kucoin also have their own Android app as far as I know. You can use that one to exchange. Kucoin is one of the good exchange. You can trust them.
using too, but about this trust... i woul'd not be so sure here
trust is luxury that we should not have in crypto world ever, sadly

1. Deposit the 24 Litecoin back to cryptopia to make my balance 0
or
2. Keep all the Money and be happy that I got some nice Litcoin for free

sounds like not owner of Cryptopia is dead but they did simple mistake in their exchange that made them huge losses so he pretending that he died Cheesy
fair thing to do is to return the money, but i think you are not the only one and many people earned free crypto by their mistake

Another reason people tend to open bank accounts rather than store money themselves is that they can get their money back in the event of being scammed

thats not so easy. Bank will not give you money unless you will prove in court that you COULD make mistake by getting scammed. Its not that simple, its fight like with insurance companies.
then its not looking so good still is it?
im happy with new era of beign your own bank
