Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

So the project is alive and everything is all right?
Roadmap updated?
I was already upset, I thought it was abandoned.

Absolute is definitely still alive and everything is OK!

I'm excited to say that the halving event has occurred on the ABS chain.

The ABS halving event has occurred on the chain at block 700801! Masternode payments are now 6 ABS and mining rewards are 1.5 ABS per block.

There is currently 16,475,747 ABS in supply with a further 3,874,253 available. The next cycle will release 2,628,000 ABS over the next 12-14 months.

Progress on the Proof of View system will allow user to earn the remaining 32.15M ABS available via the AbsoluteX.io domain which will take over from the current address at absolutecoin.net in the near future. Out absolutecoin.net domain will be used for developer, technical and wallet based information only once the new site is live.

So update 12.3.1 will be available on 26th on June. Some of the PoV node source code will be included but not yet enabled.

All old Masternodes will be disabled on the 10th of July.

This release will in a intermediate release which is required to get @everyone in the right position to turn tiered deterministic nodes on at a later date.

We will also be shaking up how the community is organised and shifting information on to the website which will have a members portal. More to follow on this over the weekend.

i started my 7th ABS masternode today  Cheesy

Any thoughts of getting listed on a service like CryptoChest or StakingLab?

It's possible, however we are limited by listing fees so we can see whats suitable for ABS.

Absolute Update #19.2

The next update (12.3.1) is almost ready for testing, so the community should expect the release with the next few weeks. This will be a staging release for Deterministic Masternodes to be activated on the Network. The process for setting up, building and configuring new Masternodes will also change significantly when these new nodes are activated. We will make sure all the documentation is available as before.

New Governance Budget Proposals will also be available this week. We recommend that members of the community vote promptly so that we can secure the next superblock.

I just want to issue a warning about grendel25 above here, he's known to have been shilling scams earlier

You should look into ABS further, feel free to come and chat to the community on Discord or Telegram. We've been developing ABS for over a year now, so we would have hoped we would be past these kind of statements by now.

Quick update Everyone

Web Paper Wallet

A New web Paper Wallet is now available https://address.absolutecoin.net/

This will allow you the following functionality:
- Create a new ABS address
- Create an ABS paper wallet
- Bulk Create Addresses
- Split a wallet address
- Show wallet details (WIF, WIFC, HEX, B64) formats.

We are looking for people to test the wallet and confirm that everything is working ok. This wallet can be download via GitHub (version 3.3.1) , there is a link on the site via (zip) if you wish to run it completely offline.

New Release
A new release will be available within the next few weeks (v12.3.1),  this will adjust spork setting on the network, apply bug fixes for database and RPC settings and get things in order for the next release which will be (v12.3.2).

We've been playing with some new functionality changes regarding our spork keys which has taken some time to configure, now that these have been completed, be can proceed with deterministic masternodes.

Thanks CC,

We are please to announce that the new release is now ready. Testing on the Testnet has been successful @everyone.  Source is now available for anyone wishing to take a look and compile themselves,  deterministic binaries (wallets) will be available on Tuesday at 20:00 UTC.

Due to a transaction version bump, this new release will not process new transactions from v12.2.5 nodes until the mining pools update. So if you are going to compile yourself, please be aware of this.

This gives us time to finish the release notes and installer scripts. Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 will be supported by installer scripts. We may increase this to other OS's later in the week.

v12.2.5a will activate a number of BIPs and a hard fork will occur at block 385440, any nodes on older versions will then be on the wrong fork. We estimate that this will be on the 12th of April.

All old protocol Masternodes (70209) will be disconnect for the reward structure on the 7th of April at 12:00 UTC.

We will be updating the Wiki and installer guides tomorrow, Watchdog_Expired in particular has been replaced in this release, so hopefully this update should make it easier for the community to setup new nodes.

https://t.me/absolute_community/8856

means that all masternode owners need to update their all wallets till 7th of april?

Yes, you will need to update your Masternode to v.12.2.5 before this date.

As wages are now being paid to members of the community, we are able to output reports for the community to look at. Here is the first report that we have created from Harvest, which is the hourly logging system we are now using. We will output these twice a month, so you are informed on what @everyone is doing.

Our wages system works off points which was approved in W1-Proposal. The points system breakdown can be seen within the W1 Proposal. https://bit.ly/W1-Wages-Budget

$ is a prefix for points within this report

We are pleased to announce that have successfully integrated a WooCommerce plugin for Absolute, which we allow payments in ABS, exclusively. The plugin has fully automated payment verification, API based, with no middle man service or fees. Merchants get 100% of payments, directly in their wallet. Merchants also don’t need to have a connection with wallet over a server or any service, the plugin payment functionality is completely decentralized.  Payment is done directly from buyer to merchant. WooCommerce is primary used within Wordpress, so this is a good addition to Absolute functionality.

A user guide for this is available here: http://bit.ly/ABSWooCommerceGuide

So we will be starting the signature campaign tomorrow @everyone. Please feel free to support us on BCT if you are willing to add the banner. I believe we have a full compliment on members now added. Ask Hhampuz if you have any questions.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5104043.msg49496169#msg49496169

We will be starting a Gleam Masternode Giveaway soon, I was going to start this tomorrow but we have just commissioned some new videos for ABS. So we will wait a few days before starting this campaign so that these can be added into the tweet requirements.

Our 1st Birthday is on 14th of Feb, so we will be doing a run down on what has happened within ABS since we started and what the plan is going forward over the next year.

More to follow soon, thanks CC
