if the team are really serious about the future of this project, why they don't try to get sirius listed on one decent exchange at least, can't  understand the so much slowness that revolves around this project, at one point you would think that project has been abandoned, this would definitely be of concern to any potential investor, it is not healthy in crypto to waste too much time, it leads to been forgotten Roll Eyes

pretty sure they are negotiating with kucoin atm  Roll Eyes

they literally said:

We invite everyone to give it a read here: https://getsirius.io/docs/Sirius-Technical-WP.pdf although we understand that most people will want a quick and simple explanation. This will be forthcoming as a blog post.

so i guess we'll get that soon enough

I think that the project is dead, you should not expect anything from it, in a few weeks the only exchange will make delisting due to the lack of interest in this coin

pretty transparent FUD, see https://twitter.com/cryptopia_nz/status/1022431774708822016?lang=en

Hi everyone,
The only coins we're delisting have been abandoned by their developers and haven't had any trade volume for a while - Please see this article from our Help Centre for details: http://[Suspicious link removed]/56KX30l7V2Y
If you have any concerns, please PM us & we'll be happy to help.

They recently released a web wallet and chrome plugin seems to be all but done, so devs are not exactly sitting on their hands.

announcement from slack: @everyone Please update your wallet to the latest version at your earliest convenience for a critical bug fix: https://github.com/siriuscore/sirius/releases -- A more in-depth look at the bug will follow later. (edited)
Excellent, the confirmation that the team is working.
All this requires constant work, solving small and large organizational issues, negotiating and painstaking auditing.

All of the above is a merge from upstream Qtum:
https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases

Again to me people behind Sirius look like giving an impression that they are hard at work where in fact they are just copying commits straight out from Qtum git hub repo...

 Sad

Which itself is a merge from the Bitcoin repo. Many projects are interwoven with the Bitcoin source code.

new announcement on slack:

Mischa [10:43 PM]
@everyone Hi everyone, our new desktop wallet has been released, you can find it at https://github.com/siriuscore/sirius/releases along with the changelog. Aside from that, we're continuing work on the smart contract wizard update, and are running initial tests for our new consensus algorithm, RWPoS. Expect to hear more about that in the coming weeks and months as we work toward preparing our technical white paper.

SportsPodium is a transparent, blockchain-based sports community that will enable a new economy by unlocking undervalued and un-monetized aspects in sports utilising the power of blockchain technology.
With our unique reputation algorithms, SportsPodium is creating the world’s largest, completely transparent, sports information database. It will make fairness, merit and equal opportunity the benchmark for competition as well as reward and will create an open and engaging platform for sports lovers all over the globe to share in the excitement of sports and fitness.
Sports participants will be rewarded with PODs for their data that they contribute to the blockchain. The blockchain will benefit from this data by providing data centric services such as targeted advertising and talent identification.
SportsPodium has an inclusive model and we partner with existing sports application providers.  We provide these providers with the value of rewarding their user bases with POD tokens in return for access to their sports data and information. We are also partnering with various sports equipment providers and online shops that will accept PODs as payment for their goods and services.
Late last year we announced the SportsPodium project with our POD token. But in order to place ourselves in a more prepared position - and protect our investors, we decided to forego our ICO at that time and raised only enough start up cash to build our team and initial tools and to prove our SportsPodium concept in the real world for our first sport: Golf.

Looks like they have Bryan Habana the rugby star as their ambassador: https://www.facebook.com/SportsPodiumApp/videos/1177923362349213/

great news.

After Sirius get in one exchange I believe it will boost the popularity more.

What do you mean? It is already on Cryptopia:

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=SIRX_BTC

0 BTC trading volume in the last 24 hours, less than half launch price, last activity in Github 18 days ago:

https://github.com/siriuscore/sirius

and this was only changing 6 lines of code to add some addresses. Previous commit was 6 months ago.

The project is dead. They got their BTC for listing it on Cryptopia, keeping the rest, then dumping most of their coins, and now they are laughing their ass off when someone here writes that they will still do something, while chilling at a south sea beach.

you conveniently missed the loads of library and api code that has been added in the last few days:

https://github.com/siriuscore/   Wink

This is a 100% copy of the bitcoin source code, just replacing the name. 2 minutes work with a global string replacement in the code.

Original repository:

https://github.com/bitpay/bitcoind-rpc

Sirius repository:

https://github.com/siriuscore/siriusd-rpc

The only thing they REMOVED is the copyright line "Copyright 2013-2014 BitPay, Inc." at the bottom, which is even illegal.

So you are right, they did do at least "something", it is not completely dead, still twitching a bit.

pretty unlikely since bitcoin has no rpc commands related to smart contracts, while sirius does.

why I import my wallet.dat to the new wallet, but the wallet would still create a new wallet.dat? and I still can't see any sirius in my wallet.

1. rename wallet.dat in %appdata%/roaming/sirius/
2. copy backup wallet.dat to %appdata%/roaming/sirius/
3. start wallet

iy's been 3 - 4 weeks since the devs team announced about cryptopia listing.
no news at all since that day. who should we blamed now?

team communicated on slack that cryptopia is being slow and not replying to email for almost 2 weeks now
