DASH's ability to centrally control development and network parameters is a problem in other areas, as it de-incentivises developers to build utility on the chain at low cost.

In order to be a globally accessible wallet it was made into fiat looking at the changing environment. We seek to be a global wallet . But we have L+ rewards where 1L+ =1 LaLa which can be redeemed to our partner wallet like Ethos and others to be announced later this year.

I understand that Populous is an ERC20 token that you can send to an ETH address , is this now safe for long -term cold storage (via a paper purse ) , or will Populous go through a transition that could eventually require my action ?

For me Exscudo exchange is just a POC (for now at least) product on top of EON. I have never invested in an exchange. I have invested in EON.

What I would really like to see is a comprehensive breakdown / comparison between Opus' and other platforms economic models,  I think it would make it easier to understand where savings are made and what are the advantages / compromises.

After that, you should head over to the altcoin announcements section, and make a pre-announcement of your coin.
Update the thread every now and then and you should be good.

I suggest you ninja launch keep all name secret till you have a working coin on test-net and ready to launch. Registered trademarks are a good idea but are costly and time consuming, also they come with no guarantee that a thief won't come copy your name or take your idea. Look at Peercoin where the other DEV ran off and created Primecoin, or with us when we pre-ann here our name was jacked with a basic scrypt copy before we could even launch. Loose lips sink ships.

Ha!  Seriously?  That's all we need, corporate backed alt coins.  On the plus side it is promoting digital currency.

Personally I think that it will be 3-5 years until we see wider adoption.  One prerequisite is price stability.  I could see cryptos becoming popular with the kids, it might be the fad that replaces fake eye glasses.

Ya next will Be  "Mc Bits" Get your Rotten Ronnies plastic play coins that your 3 yo can choke on.  Grin
