Re: The outcome of merging traditional finance and decentralised finance.

Merging decentralized finance (DeFi) with traditional finance might seem plausible, but let's not forget that DeFi emerged to address the loopholes in traditional finance. In my opinion, instead of a merger, we'll see more adaptation of DeFi principles as time passes, or traditional finance will become more open to embracing decentralized technologies. The latter will likely lead to a more inclusive and efficient financial system.

Honestly, I think shilling can be helpful if done transparently, but it can also feel deceitful if not disclosed.
Stop making multiple posts in a row, you are breaking a forum rule by doing that, you can reply to as many members as you want in one post. Back to the topic, oh you think shilling can be helpful, i consider it to be very bad advertisement that can ruin the reputation of a service that pays people to do it. One last question, do you think you are helping the exchange you are currently shilling for?
Okay, noted. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still trying to get used to the forum. Back to the topic, I don't think shilling is good. I just said that if done transparently, it can be helpful. Honestly, I was just sharing my view about a platform I like. But I'm sorry if it comes across as too shilly. I'll mind the way I express my thoughts next time, mate, to avoid that.

Op, what are your thoughts about shilling?
Dont expect the OP to reply back or read any of the posts made in this forum. They will login again just to insert their shilled exchange in the post and leave.

For those who have been replying to this thread without knowing, OP has already used their alt-shill to comment here, another newbie account and has included the name of the exchange in this thread.

Like I said in my last post, I do not condone it, neither does the forum. Many services employ users to do this dirty work for them. But this puts that exchange under a bad banner and it makes their actions if not anything else, shady.

Whoa, I was just trying to share my thoughts, but I didn't expect them to spark such a reaction! From now on, I'll make sure to respond as much as I can, so we can keep the conversation going. Thanks for keeping me on my toes

QUOTING for reference, I see that in your previous posts, you have shamelessly shilled an exchange and I expect you to insert that well known name into your post after a few days, just like you have been doing with you posts previously. Not that I condone it, you have to feed your stomach, but it sucks you have to do it like this and not through some other job. Could have done something way more impactful. Wink
Good catch and I lost interest to give any statement after looking this LOL

OP, it seems you are trying to achieve one of the following goals
[1] Building the account and if that is the case then you really need to find an interest. The style you are following is not going to take you in a long journey.
[2] You are trying to send traffic to a service that and in that case you need to plan for proper advertising if this is a legit service.
I hear you, friend! But I'm just sharing my honest thoughts, that's all. And last I checked, sharing your thoughts isn't a crime, right?

What are your thoughts on such programs?

It's just one of ways to perform marketing or advertising. Although i wish they simply say "Crypto advertising program" or "Crypto marketing program" instead since word "influencing".

Despite the current market situation, we're still on the lookout for opportunities. This reminds me of my experience as a builder for a centralized exchange (CEX) early in my web3 journey. I saw an opportunity to grow my community while promoting the exchange and earning rewards - a win-win situation! What are your thoughts on such programs? Have you participated in anything similar?

As they are named, such programs are mostly for influencers or people who have good networking skills or maybe have communities they are managing where they onboard people on such things to get referral rewards, I'm not an influencer, nor do I manage any groups with a bunch of people always ready to join programs or platforms, especially if it's not something that would give them something for free, lol. So the answer to your question from me would be no, I have never participated in such programs.

A lot of people think it's easy to earn money by referring people to certain services and platforms but that isn't true. It used to be easier to refer people in the past because not a lot of people used to know about these things back then, but nowadays, anyone you approach, would say they are already into them before you even tell them to join you as a referral.

So it's challenging, and only those who are influencers, content creators, or people with a lot of followers and communities can achieve something reasonable from these programs.

I feel you, mate! You're right, it's tough out there with everyone already knowing about these opportunities. But, I got lucky, I guess. The program I joined already required me to have a community, which I did, though a small one, around 70 people. Still, I managed to get in and share the value I wanted to offer. It's not easy, but it's doable, you know?

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well! Can't believe another weekend is already here - time flies! I know the market has been experiencing a downturn lately, but according to analysts, this was anticipated before the next big surge.

Back on topic, I feel influencers should be morally correct, use the exchange (in truth) and then promote it get paid. Most of them are only involved in the payment and not the exchange.

Here on this forum, I take part in signature campaigns, promoting a certain site, I do keep track of their accusations and If I find any of them being unscrupulous, I would disengage from participating, though none have turned out like that yet.

I'm still learning how Bitcointalk works, but I feel a bit defensive sharing my thoughts. However, I appreciate your dedication to responding to my posts. Sharing my enthusiasm for a CEX I like shouldn't be seen as wrong, right? Ultimately, we're all striving to make a positive impact in our own way.

Well, as you just said, most people are making a real impact in the space, and I'm glad to see that there are still some like you who are making a positive difference. While I know programs like this can have their upsides, they also have their downsides, mate - like when influencers use their influence for the wrong reasons. But as an influencer myself, I've met many like-minded individuals who want to provide genuine value...

These sorts of "influencer programs" are pretty much similar to almost any typical marketing campaign. These just sometimes become very controversial because the influencers don't disclose that they're sponsored, and because sometimes they give out fake information just to pull people in.

As long as you don't do those 2 shitty things, you're good.
Thanks for the insight! As a builder, my focus was on adding value to my community. Although the CEX helped, they didn't ask me to exaggerate or misrepresent them. Instead, they wanted me to share my genuine experience using their platform, which I did.

I believe advertising should be honest, and i don't support a service hiring shillers to shill their service in almost every post they make on the forum, bad advertising ruins the reputation of a service, especially in the eyes of people who look out for things like that before using a service. Op, what are your thoughts about shilling?
Honestly, I think shilling can be helpful if done transparently, but it can also feel deceitful if not disclosed. I believe in the importance of authenticity and clear communication. The program I joined did just that - I built my own community while educating people about the platform and cryptocurrency, a 50-50 approach that benefited both parties. Plus, it helped people learn more about the crypto space.

Well, the Germans are still on the move. First, they sold a massive amount of Bitcoin, which caused a significant dump. Now, they're buying again, and I'm still trying to understand their strategy. Meanwhile, the market has been volatile, and I'm looking for ways to earn income.

If anyone has ideas about profitable activities or opportunities, please share! I've come across a few myself, but I appreciate any recommendations.

Well, it's Q3 already, everyone! We're still waiting for that big pump to come. While waiting, I kind of made a promise to myself that I'd take a trip fully sponsored by my crypto earnings.

However, I haven't made the required amount to travel yet, which led me to search for alternatives. I've been participating in giveaways recently but haven't won any so far. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any events where I can get liquidity for my travels?

Well, I've been there too, mate. I've also experienced a ton of losses, but I'll keep going, intact. Just yesterday, one of my favorite crypto influencers was talking about how tough the journey can be at the beginning, but consistency, learning, and building every day, as you said, can lead to that big win. It only takes one significant win. This inspired me to explore more, like the event I saw on Bitget called 'Double Your Losses, Cover Your Losses,' which is for traders. Traders can win a pool price of 50,000 just by trading. I feel you can also check out events like this to help you bounce back.

What's your take on eco-friendly (PoW)
by

on 01/07/2024, 16:21:52 UTC
Hey everyone, happy new month! I know we're all excited and planning to make this month more productive. I've been searching for interesting projects and stumbled upon something that caught my attention - Useful Proof of Work (uPoW). I dug deeper and found that uPoW is a novel consensus mechanism that leverages CPU and GPU resources to train AI models, making mining more efficient and environmentally friendly.

Projects like Qubic are currently using this method of consensus, which I find really promising. With the recent focus on eco-friendly mining, I've been exploring projects with similar attributes. Has anyone here come across uPoW or similar projects? What are your thoughts on this mechanism? Please share if you know of any projects that utilize uPoW!

How do you Navigating Market Volatility and find New Projects
by

on 29/06/2024, 13:52:37 UTC
A lot is currently going on in the crypto space. Where do I even start? Is it the current ETF approval on several different tokens, or is it the talk about how Germany is currently accumulating bitcoin and how it's affecting the state of the market? We all know that crypto will continue to evolve, and projects will keep on building.

We have projects like Avail, which is a blockchain project that connects different networks, enabling seamless interactions and innovation. It offers a customizable, secure, and private platform for developers and users, fostering a collaborative ecosystem for a better future.

Projects like this keep me focused on the fact that the current market situation is just temporary, and the bull run we all look forward to will soon be here. What are your thoughts on the current market situation and blockchain projects like Avail? If you have any more insights, please do share.

Could  NFT narratives be making a comeback?
by
Cryptodaring
on 28/06/2024, 14:47:36 UTC
It seems the market is getting back on track, with BTC in the green again. I've noticed that the market tends to turn green towards the weekend, but I'm still trying to figure out the reason behind that. With this new development, I've started exploring other projects, mostly NFT-based narratives like Memeland, Pixelmon, and Mocaverse.

These projects have been making waves, even though we thought NFT narratives were gone for good. Mocaverse, in particular, has caught my attention - it's a collection of 8,888 unique NFTs by Animoca Brands that connects people and projects in Web3, gaming, and entertainment. What are your thoughts on such projects? Have you checked out any NFT projects recently?
