Cool idea, but how do you plan on getting blockchains that are completely separate and different to fork into one?

First off, very impressive project. I look forward to tracking your progress.

Are you building your own blockchain? Or are you operating off of the ERC-20 protocol? I guess my real question is, how are you tying the real world assets to your TCO?

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

In my opinion the best option is to spread it out among all of em. Why bet on only one option? IF you have the finances to do so, spread it out to all of those investing options and save some just to be safe in your savings.

Re: Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country?
by

So in America, the sentiment towards BTC has gone really positive as of late. We had the SEC and the CFTC both meet with Congress last week. Everyone was terrified of the meeting, but once word began to leak out that the conversations being had were overall positive in tone, the market started to see a big upswing.

Regulation of Crypto in America is coming, but that might actually be a good thing...

Re: Only a wet dream from me?
by

OK, this could be only a wet dream from me but I try to think positive. But again it came to my mind and I decided to write it down:

There are very few people who holds an enormous amount of bitcoins. Could it happen, if someone from them decide to share a percentage of their bitcoins to all other wallets that holds only a little amount to give all poor wallet-owners power at a specified time in the future when there's an urgent need for all of us (global financial breakdown or something similar)?

Dude, next time you smoke crack you should come on over.

Re: How to protect bitcoins, cryptocurrencies from hackers?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 31/01/2018, 16:55:40 UTC
What are those safety tips to prevents hackers hack your btc?

The safest option by far is to store your coins on cold wallets. Essentially you will have to go to a company like Ledger, and purchase a drive from them.

When you keep your coins on a cold wallet, no one can access that other than you with your private key. If you lose your private key then you might be effed. So be careful of that.

When you keep your coins on an exchange you keep yourself open to a hack at any moment.

Ex-RBI chairman said "Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air". It is biggest scam of all.   Angry

And how is fiat any different?

You believe the legal tender in your wallet is real money... Both fiat and btc are based off of perception and trust. Neither is a scam. Toss that word out you infant.

Re: For Bounty begginers
by

on 30/01/2018, 18:01:48 UTC
as a lot of begginers, i'm interest of participation in bounties! And want know more about it.

You are a junior member on the forum and don't know how to be part of a bounty programme showed you have not been following the events of things on the forum and even visiting the right section of the forum. Bounties are found in the Alternate section of the forum specifically the market place sub section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 all you then need is to find which one you can be part of with the requirements and the rules. There are tons to join in.

It's people like you who make forums like this a little less fun.

Who cares what the dude's status is, or how he uses this forum. Are you saying there is literally only one way to use the forum? Cuz obviously everyone uses it in their own manner.

The dude placed a question to learn. Acting in the pompous manner like you do discourages people like this to ask questions. And if no one is asking questions, is this still a forum?

Your a hero account. Act like it.

Back to the whole reason i answered in this thread, here is a great beginner's resource

Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin
by
Cryptosaint$
on 30/01/2018, 17:37:55 UTC
2017 has being one of the phenomenal years for the people who had stayed invested till the last. It has given some of the unexpected rise during the last couple of months in 2017. Though the start of Jan 2018 was good the market kept moving up but during the later half the market started to sin and back to 10k levels at present.

How do you predict the 2018 year to be for bitcoin. Will it rise back like 2017 and if yes than what could lead to those rise and if no than what factors could be accounted for the downfall?

Technically it has all the potential in the world to be an even bigger year in 2018. One reason: Wall Street & Institutional Money. Those mother effers have their greedy little beady eyes locked in on this new market. They don't want it to go anywhere because they see how hard they can manipulate it since it is still in such an infancy stage without regulations.

So as they keep pouring billions in, we are seeing the market cap increase. But then when it drops by 50B in a day. that has to be them, just working the market like a marionette doll.

Re: What is ICO?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 30/01/2018, 17:31:56 UTC
ICO is a crypto-currency-based form of financing through the sale of a Token Key and the purchase of tokens on a regular basis by Bitcoin or Ethereum (usually purchased by ETH).

Unlike normal capital mobilization, the buyer will hold the passwords issued by that company, collectively known as Token.

Holding a token is simple, if you buy with ETH you can store the token on your ETH wallet. Bitcoin is similar.

You have all the core concepts down. ICO stands for an Initial Coin Offering. And the main things that you want to pay attention to when looking at ICOs are these:
 - Team: vet the team. look at their social profiles. ensure that they are actually who they say they are
 - Project: determine if the scope of the project is realistic or not. What is their roadmap for completion or demo?
 - Market Cap & Coin Cap
 - Is it a utility?

Re: Will a fork of Bitcoin ever take over?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 30/01/2018, 17:28:52 UTC
Now that there are going to be 4 different forks of bitcoin...

Bitcoin
Bitcoin Gold
Bitcoin Cash
B2x

What do you guys think the chances of one of the forks or even a future fork taking over the main market capitalization.  Maybe after these upcoming forks it will only strengthen bitcoin.  I think all of these forks are just cash grabs profiting off of the hype of the real beast.

Thoughts?

The chances are EXTREMELY thin. But they do exist.

IMO, bitcoin cash is the one that is primed for the take over. They attempted to do it back in Dec. It is a protocol that is just more prepared for commerce and transactions.

Re: Why crypto price down in January?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 30/01/2018, 17:27:05 UTC
The price of cryptocurrencies has been down the last three years in January. What is the reason for this regular dip?

No one really knows. But we can all love to speculate:)

My guess is just tax manipulations, and also with a ton of money being pulled out during the holidays definitely has some residual effect on the month of Jan.

Think about your own financial situation. Is Jan ever a massive spending month for anyone in the real world? Hell no! Everyone's pockets are suffering from the massive spending that just took place between Nov and Dec.

Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 30/01/2018, 17:24:00 UTC
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Once a coin is made, it will always remain that coin. So the Bitcoins from 2010 are the same coins as the Bitcoins today. Only thing that has changed is the fact that more coins have been mined into existence, and some have been seized by governments.

So yeah, you messed up big time. But who cares, there is literally nothing at all you can do about that past moment. NOTHING. So why tear yourself up about.

Get yourself some alt coins that are dirt cheap today and in 5 years come back and read this silly post.

Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency?
by
Cryptosaint$
on 29/01/2018, 20:27:23 UTC
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

I think its mainly because it was the first. no other reason.

There are other alts out there that serve a much better purpose when it comes to operating as a currency, but yet BTC is still the most popular.

Nut i dont think it will always be this way.
