and then comparing to the forecasts made on wings.ai by searching for the addresses which claimed rewards, here is what I have came up with so far... any reward under 1000QVT i didnt spend the time to look at.

Thank you so much for your work. I was curious to know the rewards, but even if you have probably published these data in good faith, in my opinion these data show how much it is not worth making forecasts on wings platform.
The BEST reward ( the best, means that 1 people on thousands) made little bit higher than 10% earn ( and in this world, it is nothing). Sell wings 2 days ago and buy today would let you earn 20% for example
If the numbers given above are correct, the best reward would have earned about 1000% and not 10% o_O
I'm a bit concerned about the disparity of the rewards. If too little people are rewarded, it might turn away many from forecasting.

Initial number of tokens: token distributed straight after the ICO? I found the number 999,999,999... is that correct? Or was it just proposed number and final number is higher?
Circulating: token in circulation now? Can I rely on data from CMC? In many cases number from there differs from official source once I contact them directly.
Total: total amount of token (maximum supply - burnt tokens)? Is following correct... 2779530283277761?
Also, can you please advise how much money in USD was raised during crowdsale?
I looked all over internet and your official channels to find those stats but it doesnt seem to be out there.

2,779,530,283,277,761 IOTA is total supply and also circulating supply. This amount is fixed, there will be no more or less IOTA.
Everything was sold in a crowdsale in 2015, even the founders had to buy in, and around $500,0000 were raised (something like 2,200 BTC iirc).
Afaik, the exact amount raised was 1773 BTC, which was back then worth around 500k USD as stated in the previous post.
Initial supply was 999,999,999 at start, before it was decided to raise that number to 2,779,530,283,277,761 (0,5 x 3^33). Basically every token holder saw his amount of token multiplied by [(0,5 x 3^33) / 999,999,999 ]

Is this true? Is this how the POS interest works? This is really bad news for regular investors who are not stalking...
I thought the interest is 5%, and if only 1/3 of the coins are used for stalking, than the total inflation would be only 1.66%
That would mean lower inflation. It's really unfair for those who are not stalking if the system works as you describe it. If some people get 10% to 20% interest while others get zero, the difference is very big. 5% vs zero would be more fair.
Considering that the stakers are the ones to keep the network going, it is fair that they get interests out of it.
It is the same with Pow coins, miners get rewarded for their efforts, and not the others.
In any case staking is very easy to set up compared to mining. You just need to leave a wallet running on a computer. You could also do it from a VPS. + a few post above, an exchange allowing staking from the exchange wallet was mentionned, which would be even easier to use (never tried it though)

i've been staking for 6 days now, but still no reward... how's this possible. The wallet is 80% of the day open for staking.
Use the following shortcut to calculate the hours until first stake rewards (assuming 5% reward)
350400 / Number of XSPEC = Hours till first Stake
To expect to receive a stake in less than 6 days, you need to hold more than 2500 XSPEC.
(Calculation is only approximative. In particular, the real return right now is more like 10%, so the number of XSPEC needed would be in the order of 1250. On the otherhand, there is also the luck factor which needs to be accounted for)

Actually the formula is inaccurate, because it makes the suppositions :
1) the amount of Spectrecoin is 20 000 000 (actually a tiny bit higher ~ 20,8M tokens)
2) All the XSPEC are in wallets and stacking.
In fact only a bit over 1/3rd of the total amount of spectre is stacking.
Therefore the reward is a bit under 3 times higher than the formula used above, and with 5-6k tokens you should average around 1 stake a day (as staking is also based on luck, it's an average, you might stake more or less depending on your luck)
Wings now have its own blockchain or still is ethereum platform? Or any plan for its own blockchain
Wings doesn't really need its own blockchain.
They will stay on ethereum, but afaik an implementation on rootstock is planned, once the project is ready.

Waves tokens are really a sleeping giant. The project is undervalued. I have been shopping all day yesterday until today and was able to pick up a few thousand more Waves to add to my stack. Waves Community Tokens are also very cheap and I got more of those also. Hodling WCT will eventually pay off itself from the airdrops.
Obviously there is room for some growth, and maybe it will turn you into a coin that prides itself on "hold."I'm already a proud Waves HODLER. You have to do it manually, at least at this moment. I believe that beta will make it possible to do everything automatically, but I'm not sure.

In alpha version you need to manually lock your tokens to do a forecast and unlock them after the end of forecast. In the beta you will only need to lock the tokens to do a forecast. Unlocking will need only if you want to withdraw your tokens from the platform. (as far as i remember)
I didn't know you have to manually unlock your wings after the forecast ends, how do I go about manually unlocking my wings?
You just need to go back to the forecast page and retrieve your wings from the valuation & feedback page.

To those who've been grumbling about the wallet delay, you need to recognize that ^this^ whole process has been very, very good relative to what is 'normal' in crypto. Clear communication of a target date; clear communication when that date had to be pushed for reasons outside XSPEC's control; and now clear communication of a speedy resolution to the situation. You can't ask for anything more than that.
Spent the last hour or so to build the sources.
I was not able to compile the sources available in the release files due to some error with the ./autogen.sh (some git files were missing, I'll try to upload the console output from my ubuntu 16.04 node).
Then i decided to clone the git master repo but got stucked when i had to download the bits from the tor project github (oddly enough connection to that github seems to the blocked in China :p). Finally managed to download all the git repo through a VPN connection. Build went then smoothly. Back online

Can someone explain these airdrops? Someone tells me he got 2 liquid coins and converted it to 2 waves. He said he has about 1000 waves. So that means for every 500 waves you have, you get 1 liquid coin a week? Which would mean you get 1 wave every single week? How long would this last?
Also do you need to lease your waves to get these or not? The guy said he got traded the 2 liquid coin for 2 waves so basically you are getting waves for free this way?
Also what about waves community tokens? I read that if you have these, you get priority over those ppl who dont have any waves community token? I have these but not sure how i got them. Why did i get these waves community token but other waves holders dont have it. So you should never sell these because if you do, you dont get any priority? And what is this priority? One guy told me he sold all his waves community token for waves but then read you dont get priority if you do? So as long as you hold at least 1 wave community coin, that is good?

Rate for WCT holders regarding liquid is 1/200 : for each 200 WCT I get I have received 1 liquid

Thanks for the response. Are WCT still given out now or not? And how often are these given? Thus i want to know this because i might want to sell my WCT for some waves. But if having no WCT means no priority... still not sure what that means... then i won't do it. Thoughts on this?
For the liquid, that number makes sense since that guy told me he has about 1000 waves and got around 2 liquid that can be exchanged for waves. But how long will waves be giving this since you say there is limited amount of liquid tokens. So every week they are giving out how many?
How do you sell the liquid for waves? Its not on the decentralized exchange where i could see you could trade WCT for waves etc.
WCT were given out from march to september 2017, there will be no further airdrop for these
