I made a video about the NewPac beauty (Intro / Hardware Requirements / Software Setup / Profitability) and a bit of general talk and comparison. Still, I always try to keep my videos short not to waste anyone's time.

Biostar RX 580: dropping temperatures through thermalpaste & cleaning (Video)
Hey folks,
I wanted to share my recent video here for all of you interested in GPU maintenance or who are experiencing overheating cards etc.
In the following video I'm opening up an RX580 of mine (Biostar 4GB), clean it from the inside, re-apply thermalpaste and check before & after in the same mining-circumstances.
TL;DR experiment was a success, temperature drop of 8 - 9 ° C.

i heard they locked overclock ( sad/
Make sense to lock it. Buy 3xZ9mini = 2450$ and normal Z9 = 3184. So mini's would be cheaper and faster then the Z9.
The 'lock' is FUD. Someone already reported in the main thread that they were able to over-clock it.
I have seen someone on youtube saying that the advanced settings tab is removed and something about balanced is there now...

I don't have mine yet, but this was reported in the main Z9 mini thread.

Some units are same as batch 1, no problem at all, others have these strange locked "balance" and "turbo" settings which is only 500m and 550m, meh.
Did you ever get it figured out?
I ran into similar problems with Win10 and spent and afternoon troubleshooting. I've made a video about it maybe it can help you!
