Contributions are accepted in Bitcoin (BTC) and bitUSD (BitShares) at www.peerplays.com as of May 6, 2016 at 15:00 UTC (10 am EST). (the crowdfund is now LIVE!)
A total of 1,000,000 tokens have been issued as User-Issued Assets (UIA) on the BitShares blockchain (symbol: PEERPLAYS), and will be distributed according to the following schedule:
200,000 - Initial 2 tier crowdfund
500,000 - Auction style crowdfund, 1 month before the launch of Peerplays blockchain (TBD)
300,000 - Bounties, rewards, ongoing development & contributors
BunkerChain Labs inc. will be accepting contributions for the remaining development of the Peerplays blockchain, and distributing 200,000 TOKENS in 2 tiers.
The first distribution began on May 6, and will end after all tokens for Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been distributed.

In addition to his system level work, Notestein was also responsible for designing several high-speed data acquisition and control boards that operated in the system.

Re: Halving Bitcoin Reward Unlikely to Cause Price Surge
Okay so everything boils down to supply and demand in the end I think. If the block reward is cut in half but Bitcoin will have finite amount of coins at 21 million in 2140, will this slowing down of coin release make the price go up? So if we assume that, theoretically, not everyone is selling their coins owned before the halving and holding for a couple of years to see where the price is going to end up, this means we will have fewer coins on the market so if there are 'new' buyers looking to buy Bitcoin they will create a bigger demand, no? I am not saying the coins in cold storage will not enter the market at some point but they won't be used in circulation for a while.

Your best practice is to always generate a new address for every transaction. Then you don't have to worry about this stuff.

Most probably, the transaction did not happen. However, contact support or raise support ticket immediately. If it is stuck in the middle, it may be cancelled.

From what I have gathered about banks though.. bitcoin at present is just a pimple compared to them.

As nice as this is, there could be a malfunction on these types of devices one way or another due to connection issues and the person using it could lose the ability to see normal all of a sudden because it needs certain things to function correctly. Even though google seems to do a lot of various projects lately that have amazing capabilities, this could be also used as a spy tech like they could put something else there as well.
