Hey folks, this is an idea that I brought up about a week ago. I am still very interested in helping out with this project. https://trello.com/c/dkIspdzc/111-split-up-1-stake-into-100-micro-stakes
My idea is to just split 1 NEMstake into 100 miniNEMstakes, the only issue I can see is trust. I also don't think we should be bothering the devs with this, they obviously have a lot going on right now.
Even at this time having miniNEMstakes isn't a huge priority, but I think it will become a bigger issue if the stake price keeps rising like I expect.
That is for sure a nice idea but who is willing to sell his stake for this purpose?
I have only 1 stake and I don't want to sell it so how do you get this stake for distribution
unless you buy it from NXT AE or you already have some extra stake that you would like
to distribute?
Not only sell his stake but also pay 1000 NXT to issue an asset
just buy one on the ae create asset and set the price +1000 fee and whatever markup. should not be a problem.

yes there was a vanity address generator a few pages back but it was down due to a bug. Does anyone know if its going to be back up soon?

Does anybody know which features can be tested in the alpha? Is it only send / receive (funds and messages)?
what about the Asset exchange? Also I am sure I saw on the first fundraising thread that there could be an auction based exchange? Is that still the case? I would really love to use that instead of ebay.

AFAIK The excact details on the auction aren't published yet.
Regarding the Alpha Version.
You'll be able to test POI (Proof of Importance), Encrypted message sending through transactions, Incomming and outgoing transactions, multiple adresses on a single account, Running your local node and see how the interactive client works
Didnt mean the stake auction after alpha. what I mean is a distributed auction based exchange. much like this

I'm going to buy my stake back. A few questions: Is utopian future still involved in the project? Could we make clear that we don't need FUDster and spammers like Come-from-Above? I hate those trolls and I got a little emotional lately which was the reason I didn't want to buy back actually but know I calmed down a little.

Utopian is no longer involved. Agree with the FUD Storm, just annoying to see peoples lame attempts to discredit the project.glad to have ya back on board.
OMG I'm away for a few days and just had to do 4h of reading to get up to date.
I am amazed how fast community members stepped forward to change management to a more decentralized way.
To be honest I dont care If UF had socks or not. I'd rather have him in charge of those accounts than most people here.

guys is there any site where i can see how much 1 NEM stake is worth in NXT without having to access the AE? It's a pain in the a$$ to enter it every time just to check the price. any chart, site or anything?

It is OK if some people sell cheaply. This way we exchange a shareholder who are not very enthusiastic about NEM for shareholder who is more enthusiastic. This way future value of NEM (but not necessarily current price) increase with every trade.

I think the button on the right is only there when you have added an asset either via the search shown in pic 2 or via clicking on asset exchange and adding an asset there.

It is possible that the blockchain is still downloading. What is your current block ? (in block tab)
