The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON

  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

strange...
I have about 15 with 650FF firmware with the LPM fw on top, and highest i can clock them is about 668Mhz. Any higher and hashrate starts to drop.
Also i have 4 that are situated in a colder area, and they are so picky they wont even take the LPM mod; too cold, hashrate drops and they run stuck. Reboot and they go for some hours again. New flash with 650 (or autotune only) and they're fine...
So, temp. has a big influence also... Chip temp of 40 degree centigrade they don't like at all...

I agree, when too cold mine tend to be moody too, which makes no sense to me since heat is the enemy or so I thought. I think I could potentially get better results if I had the beefier PSU, I am running the 1600w one from bitmain on a dedicated 30amp 240v circuit, so I have plenty of power from the wall, but I think the PSU might be my limiting factor.

MicroBT is the manufacturer.

They say that the M10S can do 55 Th/s hash rate with 65 W per Th/s power efficiency
or 44 Th/s hash rate with 60 W per Th/s power efficiency.

So I suppose there are two different modes you can choose.

thanks for the clarification, so it would be a potential firmware modification or something. I was getting ready to order one since I'm not feeling the Antminer s15.

Well the M10  I have does 68 to 70 watts a th  34500 at 2350 watts = 68.1 watts a th or damn!

And they now are talking about a 44th and a 55th m10s  all 16nm  truly impressive engineering.

My temps are really good in a 86f room fans are  5000-5100 rpm  boards are 73-73-75

I would like a lessor speed just for the ability to have  safety from a hot room  like 95f

When you say they are talking about 44th etc, do you mean Pangolin is talking about putting out M10s with those outputs?

I missed the fine details of that post, the part about "each chip" individually. Wouldn't that be a pain to do and monitor? Other than finite control, what benefit would that offer? I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm legitimately asking if there is a benefit to this, cause if there is I might be interested.

Yes, I was looking for such thing! Is it really without dev fee? Can you tell me where to get it? Thanks in advance

I could be mistaken, but doesn't Tazers mod (this forum) allow you to adjust frequency with no dev fee? I'm pretty sure Tazer is doing this simply because he is a cool dude (or chick?) and to stuff it in Bitmains face.

Thanks! I recently moved my miner off 2 separate PSUs (I at the time only had 120v plugs) over to a single APW++ and ran a dedicated 240volt line in my garage which acts as a heater for the pets Cheesy  I used to be able to monitor draw based off of watching my solar monitoring GUI, but since the 240v is running directly off the main panel, and not the solar panel I'm not sure what the draw is. I know when I was running the 2 PSUs, I was easily maxing 1600w -/+ 200 with fluctuations and getting 14.7-15.3 TH/s mining rate with taserz BMMINER. I applied the latest LPM and plugged in Tazers BMMINER and I'm at 687MHz averaging high 14.x rate on an late model S9 that had the advertised rate of 13 something. I'm ok with the very small drop in hashing if I am actually getting 10% power savings. time will tell!

anyone do an "at-the-wall" number to see if this LPM whatnot is actually making any difference? I'm curious if the % claim they are making is accurate

just as an FYI, if you do a complete firmware upgrade to the new LPM, decide to go back and try to use the Taserz to go back, the S9 will tell you the firmware is incorrect. I had to go back to an older version of Bitmain firmware that I had downloaded a while back, then go back to Taserz. It seems that Bitmain is onto those of us that were overclocking :p

Good to know, however what I meant by "signal" wire was the control wire that sends the signal to tell the fan how fast to spin. I've done 2 different methods of software modifications but it seems they only last for a while and somehow they get overwritten. I just want these things on full blast all the time and some sort of good signal to go back to the PCB so it knows they are spinning and aren't broken

Ok, I'm going to go really old school simple hardware hack. The fans are a 4 wire PWM plug. one wire is (+) power, one is (-) ground, one wire is reading RPMs of the fan, and one controls the RPMs of the fans. I haven't grabbed a voltmeter yet to figure out which is which, but could we just jump the speed signal wire with the hot wire and make the fan run full speed all the time? Just a thought for those of us who are not worried about noise levels. I have found that even when I use this web browser mod, it still only sets one of the fans, and there is a discrepancy between speeds.

"I'm also using the 88 version on an older 13.7 th model, just set it up, I'll let you know how it goes over the next week or so"

I am using 2 HP Server PSUs, 1x750w (running 1 board) and 1x1200w (running 2 boards and controller)
at 706.25 freq for some reason the single 750w PSU keeps resetting itself. I suspect it's because it might be going bad as I've been using it for almost 2 years.

Temperatures were varying from 78-85 -/+ 2 degrees in any direction.

It seems to run stable at 700 flat, running each board 4950ish-5100ish GH/S

I suspect I could get more if I could get the temperature in my garage lower, ambient air temp is around 78 degrees.

I think come winter time I can play around with it more, I will also try using my Bitmain PSU, though I dont get full potential out of it on 110v plug, I don't have a 220v in my garage.

Thanks for the info on the fan speed mod, I will give it a try!

Any Chance you could work in fan control adjustment? I'd like mine to be 100% all the time regardless of temperature

I'm also using the 88 version on an older 13.7 th model, just set it up, I'll let you know how it goes over the next week or so

So dropping the other firmware allows for overclocking and presumably underclocking, does it open up the Voltage and/or fan PWM speed% as well?

Hopefully this won't get removed since it is relevant to this thread topic, I'm wandering the various configs via WinSCP, and I'm wondering if we can just enter in the code in the bmminer.conf file somewhere in here to get the FAN PWM, and the Frequency...

"api-listen" : true,
"api-network" : true,
"api-groups" : "A:stats:pools:devs:summary:version",
"api-allow" : "A:0/0,W:*",
"bitmain-fan-ctrl" : true,
"bitmain-fan-pwm" : "100",
"bitmain-use-vil" : true,
"bitmain-freq" : "550",
"bitmain-voltage" : "0706",
"multi-version" : "1"
}

It likes the PWM 100 setting but even though I save it as 550 it doesn't change the frequency after the bootup. Any ideas?

ok, so it worked this time, thanks but it seems that even if I choose a different frequency it doesn't stick. Was worth a try though, thanks again!
