I'd like to see nutritional information on the foods that you sell, and more information in general about all of the products.  Not to harp on the memory card thing, but it would be nice to see brand names, for example.

The BTC community is/was largely made out of extreme tech geeks.
As such, there will be a large proportion of people with asperger/autist tendencies, social insensitivity, irritation and other "flaws".

Instead of trolling their loss, show some empathy, and work out what we have learned.

I'm glad you wrote while agitated, everything in this post is something that needed to be said, especially the part I quoted.  Well done.

Even without knowing anything about algorithms Bitcoins and other stuff, the fact is: Commercial solutions are slower and more expensive, how a person with no experience make something better, faster and cheaper?

I think you might be assuming too much about his level of experience and knowledge on the matter, lets not rush to conclusions.

I'll defiantly be watching this thread, but in a way it would be kind of a shame to see mining move away from the GPU and onto dedicated hardware, it would mean the end of the garage miner.  It seems like the people who would be most interested in buying these would be small companies and start ups, only the die-hard miners would buy hardware that could only be used for mining bitcoins, even if they were cheaper than GPUs.

But on the other hand, I wouldn't want to see this type of thing only be available to a select few either. I'm kind of torn, but honestly I would probably buy one.

There isn't a drop down menu on my site?

Eh, sorry about that, I wasn't thinking straight and got your site mixed up with something else.

I still can't get this to work on my second gpu though.

You could just dedicate 2 gpus to him, but who is paying the electric bill?

I couldn't get this to work with my second card even though I can select it in the drop down menu.  I have three possible selections in the menu (cpu, 5770, and 6950) but only the 5770 will actually start mining, the others just sit there with 0 mhs.

This was as of last night, and I left my 5770 mining overnight.  I'll post again when I check on it later today.

I think this is a pretty cool idea and I hope you continue to develop it Smiley

Looks good to me, I have a similar system (sempron 140, one stick of ram, 2x 5830s) running off of a relatively cheap Antec 550 watt psu and it's doing fine.  I just wish I could find my Kill-A-Watt to test and see how many watts it's using at the socket.
