Last few days have been really interesting! I want to keep 60% of my portfolio in HODLing game and 40% in day trading. I think it is a safe strategy.
I would suggest you to learn day trading with just 5% of your portfolio or even less. Once you start mastering the trades, you can go with bigger ones That's what I learnt from my fellow community members You say you're tired of the holding game, so it means you weren't here a year ago to take advantage of the last bull run. It also means you have no patience if you can't even hold out for a year.
I would strongly advice you against trying to "day trade". Guys like you will just get in trouble, buying all the time and making 1-5% profits every day before one day crashing at 50% to lose everything.
If you can't be patient enough to learn on your own and have to ask here. You're not for trading.

I disagree with you on losing everything. Day traders always use stop losses in the range of 2-5%.

There is lot of free content available on internet. I have learnt a lot from You Tube videos. But after some time, one starts feeling need for guidance from experienced traders. Thus I joined many Day trading related communities. But not all of them are good and they may misdirect you or use you for their own advantage. Thus one needs to be careful. Volatility will be a major concern. Suppose you will give 2000 Fantasy Gold Coin per month to the employee as salary. If the price is down, employee will be concerned and if price is too high, you might feel foolish giving away that much
I have started an initiative (a discord server) to fight the scams after I myself was scammed in Zenad coin. My experience has been mixed. Some people were prevented from being scammed due to warnings given to them in the discord server. But some of them were really stubborn and they wasted their money despite all our efforts.
If you are talking about investing then I will be HODLing Fantasy Gold Coin (FGC) in 2018 and beyond.
Apart from that I will be focused on tackling the menace of scams in Crypto world. My initiative has angered some of the scammers as I have been abused multiple times by them. This has motivated me even more in my endeavors against these scams.

We can not be 100% sure but doing a thorough research helps us a lot in making good decisions. I was scammed in Zenad Masternode project. In frustration and anger I started a discord server - Crypto Scams. It really took off and it has over 1000 members now. Discussing with fellow investors has helped all of us a lot. We have avoided many scams through spreading awareness. Perhaps we need more such initiative so that all right thinking people could unite.
