Does Cudaminer work with Dark Coin (DRK)?

Not atm.  No idea if he is going to impliment it in the future however if you really want to mine with NV the modified SGminer works but it's
woefully slow compared to ati cards. (my 780 gets about 440kh, my 7970 does ~2.2mh)

Interesting, didn't think SGminer would recognize the card!  Thanks friend!

DirtyWilly, the donation addresses given in the Readme are good...
Christian, I sent you a 0.100 BTC!

Can anyone else top that?  Don't be greedy, he made us a lot of freaking dough guys.  Most of us wouldn't have 1/100th the coin if it wasn't for his efforts.

Thanks again man.
Yeah I topped that, 48MAX when they were still valuable (I hope Mr. C sold them during that time too)

Right on, if it goes up, I'll gladly shell out more.

780ti SC non/ACX - +51 offset - 220,000 KHash.

Wow! Much hash. I get only 180 per 780 Ti on Linux, and I lack all overclocking options
except for BIOS mods

Christian

Zero booos after the initial start up.  Still running strong at 220,000 khash after 25 minutes.

I'm telling you open Chrome or something that makes the GPU stepping increase?  Also run maxcoind with two less cores in affinity.  Yields extra hash for unknown reason?

My 680 GTX SC is solid 127,000 khash, same settings.  99%.

Thanks Christian!

Working good here!  98%, mostly from initial start up.

780ti SC non/ACX - +51 offset - 220,000 KHash.
Opening Chrome and leaving it running gives more hash?  Opening maxcoind wallet and setting affinity to two less cores increases hash?

Settings:

cudaminer.exe -a keccak -q -l K1024x32 -i 1 -C 0 -m 1 -H 2 -L 128 -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.max.hashfaster.com:4004 -O {username}.1:{pass}

Hi all, here are some quick tuning tips I've found.

So far I've been able to take:

680 GTX from 40,000 khash to 120,000 khash
780 Ti SC from 130,000 khash to 190,000 khash

And I've successfully found blocks.

Best settings I've found so far on both the 680 and 780 "K1024x32" - Increases 15,000 khash from most other settings tried
Set maxcoind.exe CPU affinity to at least two less cores - Increases 15,000 - 40,000 khash when a few cores aren't in use
Leave a Chrome browser or simple video/flash game running - Increases 50,000 khash or more if GPU is stepping low, crude solution till I figure out a way to disable stepping/power savings
Overclock yields more khash, no brainer

If you get ANY errors starting up Cudaminer, compute capability, exceed warp, out of memory, etc., you are not mining correctly!  This will produce wild results such as millions of unexplained khashes.

More to come, busy days for me, but I'll try to get a basic guide out for cudamining and tweaking maxcoin.

I'm getting about 105000 with gtx680 but the card shows only 80% power usage
-d 0 -L 128 -i 0 -l K1024x32

Reduce the number of cores set to maxcoind.exe in task manager.  Details Tab for Windows 8/8.1.

RPC's been as high as 0.070 BTC in the past on CoinedUp.  There's no reason with it on Cryptsy now it shouldn't go that high again.  Go RP, and RPC!

Step 2. Mine when everyone else can't.

Re: Almost All Altcoin/BTC Ratios down, Thoughts?
by
DirtyWilly
on 06/01/2014, 02:33:18 UTC
The price of BTC has gone up, if the spread between the alt currencies and BTC remains the same it means the value of the alts is increasing. For the coins to keep their same value, the spread has to go down.
If you want more details, I wrote about it on my blog: http://de-crypter.blogspot.com/

What he said.  LTC for example hasn't gone down, the price of BTC has just gone up, that's all.  Little FYI, last time BTC shot up fast and stabilized over $1000 a few days later the alts caught on fire and moved up faster.

1. Buying goods with Bitcoin decreases value as merchants immediately cash out.  New money doesn't flow into falling prices of Bitcoin.
2. Numbers aren't easily digestible.  Ever pay 0.004994321 BTC for a loaf of bread?
3. BTC is not deflationary.  Altcoins such as LTC extend the supply if adopted.

I haven't had many issues with Cryptsy.  Given the obscene daily growing volume on all crypto sites, I'm surprised it has as few problems it does.

I'd probably be saying otherwise if I transferred in a BTC and it didn't show up for six days like it did at Coins-e, who still haven't contacted me!

Vern, it might help to put a disclaimer on the site about heavy ticket volume.

BTW, Coins-e.com did eventually contact me and fix the issue!

Took 9 days but they did eventually fix the issue!  All funds available and have been transferred around no problem.

Was getting worried!
