Why do I get miner crashing every 24 hours or so with error 77 on random GPU when I run all 8 cards with 1 instance(1 window) of miner + some invalid shares(3-4 per 1500 or 1 day), but if I run each card with separate instance of miner(8 windows) I don't get any crashes for 2 weeks(and I simply didn't mine longer that until I close miner myself) and may be 1-2 invalid share during that time from all cards combined?

I've tested low values simply out of curiosity - I need high values(to work). Ping is 50-60ms but even 200ms shouldn't cause anything. Haven't tried other pools.

Well its basically same as not using --jobtimeout at all. Unless you use small values(like 0-120 or so) that it happens sooner - so they work. Really high values seem not to work though.

I'm mostly encounter it with my 6800xt in my PC, because in rigs I've got 6-8 cards so share rate is higher, but it can be any videocard. Im mining flux at Herominiers and use big share size(24ksol) because overall it gives higher h\r, but sometimes when it's taking too long to find a share it would disconnect\reconnect from pool. I tried settings like 0 or 60 - and they work, with 0 you disconnect\reconnect after 10-15 seconds and then it starts doing it constantly. With 60 its like the same 10-15 second buffer + 60, but if I use like 999 or 9999 or something in between it seems it doesn't work because I get disconnect\reconnect sooner than it's supposed to. And I mean even with 999 seconds setting it shouldn't get any disconnects because single 6800xt finds a share sooner than that with 24ksol sharediff.

What is --jobtimeout max setting? Tried =999 but it certainly doesn't work because I had disconnect\reconnect to the pool in less than 15 minutes if there is not a single share submitted.

There is an issue with GPU initialization once I've add 8th card to the rig. Some times if fails to initialize 1 cards, another time 2+. Its completely random. Running 2 instances of miner with 1-4 and 5-8 cards helps when you run them one after another though:

Dunno but --priority=2 doesn't change process priority from normal to high for me. I got "Run this program as an administrator" enabled in miniZ.exe Properties > Compatibility.

There is still an issue with miner loosing pool, only now it's not showing it got stuck in dev fee - its shows as if it's mining regularly. Got it on two rigs already.

I'm not doing any undervolting, only locking core clock, memory oc is not touched at all. I think i need to install some app for that, dont want to do that. Electricity is free, just want lower temps if possible...
You will need MSI Afterburner thats all. Dropping 30Wt+ per card would help temps for sure.

Your powerdraw is way too high for your hashrate. You should lower the voltage even more while retaining current core clock speeds or even raising core clocks at the same time.
As for the fan control, yeah, it doesn't work that good for now, but give developers some time - it's been just over a month that they have introduced it. I remember it took T-rex team a while to finesse their fan control as well

I've found some issues with fan control: if card can't go below certain fan %(like Colorful Vulcan and MSI Gaming Trio won't allow you to go below 30% fan speed) when GPU temperature drops below targeted, miner will stop controlling its fans completely, so they will remain at 30% even if temperatures will start to go up again.

I set miniZ.exe process priority to high in task manager it helps vs. h\r drops when u are doing something else on the rig, e.g. using MSI Afterburner, cos CPU gets loaded when u tune curve or just hover mouse over monitoring graphs.

Hm, never happened with z3 version... Anyway, since its only happening after 24hr+ of uptime I'll just keep restarting miner on each rig every day as a temporary workaround.

who cares this miner has been consistently 5% over 24hrs reported hashrate at the pool for me.
It's 0% if it's mining dev fee all the time. And it keeps happening again and again with this version.
