Re: How quickly do you forget a loss
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 13:38:58 UTC
Forgetting gambling is not an easy thing because when you enter the casino website or a casino website you will remember your losses. Though the gambler would forget it but it will take some time likes years.
But everyone has their own ways of forgetting things some are easy while some are not.

It's not really about completely forgetting that you lost a certain amount the previous day, because definitely if you lost $100 today while gambling and you log back into the casino the next day, you will remember the loss you had the previous day, but in this topic, I believe that what OP is insinuating is how quickly do you let go of the pain or heartbreak of facing losses while gambling. If you had lose today, when you start to gamble the next day, will you still have that heartbreaking feeling of the past losses? If no, that means you quickly let go of the pain, to embrace new chance.

If you regularly spend a hundred bucks on gambling, the question will always arise: Where is this treasured chest of money? You name a pretty decent price, which is unlikely to be lost regularly by many on the forum. However, I am not a professional, and I can be wrong, but I think that the one who lost today will be upset, and tomorrow he will be very careful with his spending, since the memories are quite fresh. Only by winning can we heal those past losses, which are not always able to compensate for all the expenses in full.

Some dedicated gamblers can spend $100 in gambling per day, maybe not members of this forum but off the forum, after those gamblers or bettors lose that amount, they might not gamble for a while because they probably don't have more money to allocate to gambling or even if they repeat the next day, they might just have a small amount like $5 or $10 to gamble with and while they have the courage to go again is to try luck if they can win and recover from the previous lose, but if that player still had the heartbreaking pain from the previous lost amount, they might not even gamble again for a very long time until they finally overcome the past lose.

For example, if you are overwhelmed by pain, you might not go back to what inflicted the pain on you until the pain is finally gone. That's how some gamblers are, they take very long to gamble again after encountering a huge loss. Despite how much I love gambling, I can not allocate $100 to gambling just for a single day.

For those that regular gamble with a huge amount like $50 - $100 and more, they knows their income source better than I do, if they didn't have so much to spend, they wouldn't gamble with such huge amount.

Re: Using auto-bet bots on crypto casinos smart or suicide?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 12:16:27 UTC
I played auto bet on freebitco.in back few years ago with small budget of around 30.000 satoshis. I used Martingdale system and rised funds to around 40.000 satoshis after that I got losing streak and lost almost all the funds. To be honest I would not be confortable to gamble bigger sum.

Entrusting an auto bet bot with a huge amount of money to gamble can be a very big mistake. An bot doesn't have human instincts and experience. It's possible to have some wins using this system but the chances of making profit in the long run would be very small. It's wise of you not to try out huge amounts of money because it might end up being a disaster. It's preferable to continue maintaining smaller sums of money

If the person would try to give the auto bet not with huge amount, they can keep a close watch on it to see what is happening. If you don't watch it, maybe you left it to go to bed, you might wakeup to see that your account balance is at zero dollar. Using the not should just be on a close attention and not in your absence. I will not use the bot if It can not bring profit, I just prefer manual betting.

Re: Is There No Good Side Of Gambling?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 11:16:56 UTC
One thing is certain, gambling is not always considered bad, depending on how we view it. Some people consider gambling to be entertainment when they are tired from work. I think that as long as we gamble within a reasonable budget, do not exceed what has been set, and are aware of the risks involved when deciding to start gambling, in other words, become responsible gamblers, i don't think there will be any problems with it.

Gambling is never bad, people that had bad impression towards gambling had a reason for that and the reason is not far from being as a result of addicted gamblers. Since gambling have been in existence to date, if there was no body that got addicted and had their life destroyed, would anyone see gambling as something bad? I doubt not. Some people see gambling as an activity with bad effect because of addicted gamblers, if everyone were to gambler responsibly, no body will talk against it.
Gambling is not a bad thing until a person gets deeply addicted to gambling and gets out of his normal life. Many people enjoy gambling and many can profit from it by using their own strategies, at that time gambling seems to them to be a very good thing and they enjoy it very much. But when someone continues to gamble even after not being able to win from gambling and gambles even after neglecting his important activities, then it is bad for him. However, before gambling is considered a bad thing, one has to keep himself within a boundary where he will only enjoy gambling but never become addicted.

Even if the gamblers is addicted, he chose it to be that way because if they had not lose control in the first place, they will not become addicted and casinos would not be blamed but since the gamblers are the cause of the problems they find themselves in, they should be blame and not gambling. In my place, there are lots of people that work in casinos and betting shops and are making a living from the salary, can we not count that as a good thing?

Re: The Dangers of Becoming a Professional Gambler

Being a professional player is always difficult, let's consider different aspects, what can happen at a cerebral level to a professional player is the complete dedication to the game which causes the person to be constantly under challenge, this is not good for health and risks causing permanent damage to the person's character, then it also involves the emotional sphere, usually those who play always remain frozen, never an emotion

You are right, being professional is not easy and not achievable by a very large percent of all the gamblers, if it was simple like some people think, I should have become a professional by now because of how dedicated I was when I newly started gambling and even the years after, I was still fully dedicated and trying to employ different methods in order to win but yet I didn't win like a professional. If being professional is only regarded in the aspect of being responsible, then I would say i'm one but it's not measured like that but by winning.

Re: Drinking vs Gambling

That's what am trying to explain since some people thinks that alcohol doesn't have much addictive effect like gambling, maybe they don't know how some people have become addicted to alcohol that they get drunk every day and night. A drunk can not even think properly or manage anything like a business or job. I remember the first night I got so drunk, I broke the screen of my phone that night and also hide the phone under my mattress, when I woke up the next day was around 12pm with a severe head ache, first I started looking for my phone without remembering what happened the previous night. When I finally found the phone, it was damaged in a way I had no memory about. So, being addicted to alcohol can really be bad.
If am to choose between gambling and alcohol addiction, i will choose gambling addiction. Both are evil but gambling is lesser evil compare to drinking addiction. Alcohol do not only destroy your finance, it also destroy your health, cause you more pain. The funny part of alcohol addiction is that even if you do not have money, there are people willing to buy for you. But in gambling no one will give you money to go and play gamble, you play with your money and when you are broke you stop. no one will give you free bet.

i stop taking alcohol at my 30th year birthday.  when i was taking alcohol i drink responsibly, i only got drunk once. I always stop at my level, if am drinking beer i wont exceed three bottles. I apply same method to my gambling , once the spare cash finishes am done gambling. Nothing will make me borrow money or touch my saving. One must be guided, drink and play gamble with your head.

Well, I can not choose any other such problems because non of it is better for me, I have never had a symptom of alcohol addiction and have not been drunk too many times but I saw how it contributed in destroying the lives of people, same as gambling addiction did too but despite I had some signs of gambling addiction, I didn't allow it to overwhelm me because I know the effect of it. Anything that has to do with addiction is not usually healthy for humans because it definitely leads to issues upon issues. The best decision you can ever make is to remain disciplined and responsible.

Re: Does your luck shines brighter most with a particular casino?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 09:50:52 UTC
I tried several games and platforms, yet I'd never find which one of them gave me luck. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I lose. Those are things that happen to me in real life from trying them.

I hear some gamblers find a particular game that gives them more wins than losses. I feel jealous, but I realize that not all have been given such a kind of opportunity or something. I accept that I wasn't too lucky in gambling, but yes, I'm still hoping that one day I can be lucky. And I continue gambling because I enjoy it.

Every gambler has different grace and luck, the possibility of game at the right timing (the right minutes) will definitely bring you a win but being certain of the right time to achieve that win is not possible. I can play crash now and fail at 100x but it's possible for another gambler to play that same game (crash) on that same casino and they might get more than 500x. Such results are products of luck and not based on casinos. That's why I said everyone has their individual lucks, as long as other gamblers are winning in that casino, you can win there too.

Re: consequenced of promoting illegal casinos.
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 09:37:53 UTC
Promoting illegal casinos means supporting something else. Supporting illegal activities should be a punishable offense. If the government only restricts accounts, then it is good for that person because he is not being fined or punished in any other way. Those who have a large number of fan followers on social media should have planned carefully to take any promotional work. If they try to save their personal interests without understanding the good side of people, then they will definitely have to accept such a situation.

I was of the opinion that instead of the government to cease their accounts, they should make them pay a heavy fine that will make them to regret their actions and it will also serve as a warning for other influencers or bloggers that wanted to do same. Although, I really get upset to see some influencers promoting scam projects, no just casinos and it really doesn't make sense that they are luring their fans into scams and government are not even fighting them, if they can be made to pay a very heavy fine, others will learn a lesson.

Re: Are online Casinos more rigged than physical Casinos like in Las Vegas?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 09:03:30 UTC
I'm concerned, but if it's a licensed casino, then there shouldn't be any outbreak and outcome of rigging involved.I'm curious about how this works but I sure know so well that reputable and well regulated casinos do not indulge in activities such as rigging.Normally, casinos are designed in house edge which enables them to make their money.

Exactly what I  believe too, since these casinos are already designed with a house edge that helps them to win far more than the gamblers, why then would they have to rig the game again? Only non reputable casinos would do such because they are scammers that doesn't want the gamblers to even have much win. Although sometimes, we can not really know when a game is being rigged or not.

Re: Crypto Betting vs FIAT Betting
by

What do you prefer in 2025?

Some gamblers may not take decentralized or centralized betting sites into account. Fiat betting sites also ask customers for KYC.
But I don't know, I don't really care to compare crypto betting and fiat betting. They develop their market based on their own sectors. Fiat betting sites still have their own fans. They reach customers who do not have crypto and are not knowledgeable about it.
Those of us who prefer crypto betting sites also use them and are happier because we have crypto. Otherwise, we might as well bet with Fiat.

I think most of the online casinos are providing different deposits option both in fiats and different cryptos now that they really want to get customers from all corners of the world, so they want to make sure they are providing a favourable deposit option which can make them have more customers. From my observation, It's only some local casinos and bookies that normal have the fiat deposit option probably because they are targeting more customers in their own country.

Re: What is the best way to gamble?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 07:54:14 UTC
When you have a losing mentality, even if you lose in gambling, it will not have a big impact. But when you gamble with the expectation of winning, if you lose at that time, it will make you more excited to recover the loss. That is why only pleasure should be given priority when gambling and it is advisable to stop your gambling within a specified time. If you are able to gamble with self-control, then it will be difficult for you to fall into the trap of gambling. Those who can control their greed in gambling will definitely get the opportunity to gamble in the long term. Self-control and managing gambling within your own capabilities is the best way.
Yes, I try to influence what I can in gambling, for example, control my emotions, which will not allow me to lose more than I would have lost if I did not control them. But I cannot influence luck, so I absolutely do not know what will happen to it and losses cannot upset me. I just understand that without them it is impossible to win. Even if we lose, with a high probability I understand that the moment will come when this will change to a winning part and it is important to take part of the winnings and not be greedy like most players.

You can not influence luck just as no body can also be able to influence luck. Luck is random and without a gambler being lucky they can not win their bets, so I just prepare my mind for any result I get whether it's a win or a lose I don't panic or get overly excited. When a player starts getting too drawn to winning, it can make them want to chase losses because they want to make sure that they win without realizing that luck is random and it can favour them or not.

Re: How is wealth distributed through Gambling
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 24/07/2025, 07:32:07 UTC
I don't personally think that wealth is actually distributed through gambling the only wealth that is distributed is going only going to the casinos money is going from gambler's to the owners of casinos which are business ventures apart from that there is no such thing as wealth distribution in gambling

You are right, no matter the process of money flow from casinos to gamblers vai pay out of winning, to the government via tax and also salaries paid to employees, the casinos still remains wealthier at the end and the money they distributed is not  even more than 50% of the profits they make in a year. Gamblers are losing every day and that's how the casinos are making more money.
the casinos owners always

In my opinion, governments should only tax casinos and gamblers who win very large jackpots, but unfortunately, this isn't happening. Casinos and gamblers are taxed heavily. To make matters worse, governments haven't encouraged healthcare companies to train specialists who can quickly help gambling addicts. Now, regarding what governments do with taxes, unfortunately, many governments take taxes from citizens to use for their own purposes. As a result, the country doesn't develop as it should.

This is the exact reason why people stopped paying taxes in my country because the funds are not used for the development of the country, the law makers use these monies for their own personal interests. Taxes on gambling was almost implemented in my country but the law was disagreed by a lot of people, not every gambler or casino makes the same amount of money, so it wouldn't be fair for them to pay Taxes equally

Not yet established here that gamblers must pay tax, it's just the casinos and bookies that are only paying tax, in some other countries gamblers are made to pay tax whether you win big or not but that's not the case, for the poor gamblers that are losing their money to the casinos and bookies, how does the money goes back to them? Ok, even if gamblers are to pay tax from their winnings, are they not still the one losing? We can agree that they lose many times to the casinos and when they finally win, they pay a certain percent as tax.

Re: How can you enjoy the game when you are losing?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 23/07/2025, 16:50:35 UTC
Honestly, no one can enjoy gambling when losing, even when I stake extremely low I still feel some type of way when I end up losing... Gambling is a more fun to engage in when you are winning, losing takes all the fun out of it...But if you allow those losses to affect your emotions you might end up making a mistake that you might end up regretting... whatever the outcome might be just gamble responsibly

You are right, I have said it before that even someone that says they are gambling for fun will still want to be winning because without winning most times, it can be very bored and annoying, especially when you hear someone telling you that they won a certain amount, you will wonder why you are not winning. I am not gambling for the sake of profit making but I really feel happy win. You can not be happy to continue playing win you are not winning.

Re: When you're winning you can't sleep
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 23/07/2025, 15:59:49 UTC
Well, I don't know about this in gambling but in sport betting, I can agree that some people are so caught up with their bets that if they bet on a parlay, let's say it's a combination of 10 games which is supposed to run for 5 days or more, as the game continues to play out in their favour, some person will not find it easy to sleep because all their mind will be tied to that game and they will even be day dreaming about winning all the game and having a big cash out. In casino games, you don't have any outstanding outcomes, your results are instant, so why can't the gambler sleep?
I've seen many gamblers when they make a bet. They get so caught up in it, and think so much about that bet, that they can't focus on anything else until the result of that bet comes out. And this is actually true for most gamblers who bet on sports. I had a cousin who was a sports bettor who was so addicted to sports betting that he would bet on different sports every day and sleep little. And because of this lack of sleep, he became mentally ill, and later had to be treated. So gambling also affects a gambler's sleep if he is addicted to gambling.

Yea, I know about this kind of effect with sport betting but what am talking is casino games like plinko or crash, how does it work with some gamblers that when they are winning they can not sleeping even if they are done gambling for that day, how can they still be thinking of of the wins and not sleep? We know that in sport betting, you can have a parlay that is running and maybe some games must have played as predicted which if the bettor is thinking about the other games, they can have sleepless night, but does it happen same with crash or plinko?

Re: How annoying is KYC for crypto gambling?
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 23/07/2025, 11:38:42 UTC
Can you give example of the unreasonable request you meant? Even if the casino request for passport, drivers license, or any valid ID, it is still a valuable secret information. If the the casino doesn't ask for proof of address, they can use the customer's IP address to locate the person if there's need to do so. Also, there are some casino that doesn't ask for KYC information until you want to withdraw.

Well, everything you mentioned is common and normal for them to ask. By unreasonable, I mean something outside of that norm. And I don't have any examples to give you; they haven't asked for anything different yet, but use your imagination. What would be strange if they asked you? I don't know, your sexual orientation, your religion?

Wouldn't it be funny if they ask for your sexual orientation? Asking about religion is not a big deal and it should not also be something that should be made compulsory to answer because there are people who doesn't have any religion. Any casino that is asking for some strange requirements that you can not even imagine what it would be, that means people will definitely stay away from the casino. The normal requirements like IDs is what most casinos always ask for.

As long as I don't make use of auto trading bots for my trades, I don't see how I can find it fun in using it to place bets in crypto casino. I think the fun is playing manually and feeling every steps you take on the game. It can only be a smart move if helps to project against many losses and helps one secure some profits. If I also try it out and discover it was fun and not so bad from what I thought it would be, then I can try it.
Using bot to trade or gamble I think is misleading because theirs no guarantee for that, I know very well that gambling cannot favour a gambler with a bot booking of gambling, in actual sense gambling is unpredictable and same time predictable indecencies that the statistics of people who profit in the gambling and those lost in gambling you can't equate

I think you are mixing up the two things togethet. I have just learned recently that gambling is quite different from betting which is all about sports and other events such as elections, next pope, weather condition, etc, while gambling is for slot casino games. It doesn't matter if a gambler or bettor is using not in any of those options, the results can be a bit fair in sport betting but bot can never bring a good winning in casino games.

Re: If you had infinite money, would you still gamble?

What if you have infinite money and yet you still have so much time to have fun and enjoy your life, what would your gambling lifestyle look like? Personal, if I have the money and time, definitely I will always gamble but with the situation now, I see that my job and business is not even allowing me to be as regular in gambling as before, so if I get more engage in too many income source, I might not have the time to gamble the way I want to. But, it's usually not the same with everyone.

Yup.

Infinite money glitch + free time = fun gambling.

My lifestyle wouldn't differ much from what I currently have but having infinite money glitch would be mean I can gamble without any emotional inefficiencies and worries. I don't play casino games so it's mostly going to be about sportsbetting. That said, my bets will look like those that Drake takes. Not the same bet but those big money bets that makes that breaks the internet every now and then. That's the kind of gambling I would be doing.

Sometimes, if you have this infinite money, depending on how the money came, through hardwork or too many efforts, you might not want to make such drake kind of bet that will make the internet talk. Sometimes, bets like that are said to be promotions that was organized by the casino or the person is part of the casino owners. So, you might just want to have fun but not with giving so much money to the bookies.

Re: The Dangers of Becoming a Professional Gambler
by
Dr.Bitcoin_Strange
on 23/07/2025, 09:19:06 UTC
Talking about professional gamblers. It is already a person who knows their responsibility and risk. They become professionals because they can handle themselves more than others. So I would say there is no issue with them and nothing to worry about with these people because they know what the right thing to do is. We just assume the wrong thing.

Of course, they are rich gamblers who are not afraid to lose money.

Is that how you define someone that says they are a professional gambler?  First, I think a professional gambler should be very rich because they must have to be winning consistently since they are pro. Also, apart from winning consistently, it's not every gambler claiming to be professional that really has the characteristics of handling themselves properly, some of them face the challenges that have been listed on the OP.  There was this professional gambler in history, I can't remember his name but it was posted here some months ago, they said the guy developed mental problem and died. Being a pro in gambling is not easy and I don't know any professional in my place yet.
