MEM 950 is possible, but RAM gets to hot

The easy and fast way. Make a html file and paste this. edit ip settings and ur done

Over 60° the cards start to throttle. Only 1-5 %. At 70° they throttle even more. Keep below 60° to get Full Power. Thats my experience with 3 setups with 1060 3/6GB, 1070TI and 1080TI.
And thats why your hashrate goes down after a while, cause VRMs/GPU and MEM is hot and the card slowy begin to throttle.

Im using Win7 and the cards have these settings:

GTX 1060 3GB hynix: GPU +240 MEM +400 PL 60%
GTX 1070 TI : GPU +180 MEM +600 PL 60%
GTX 1080 TI : GPU +160 MEM -100 PL 60%

Theres a little room for stability. 1080 Ti runs since 1 year 24/7 with these settings without hassle. I prefer a rock stable system.
In a downtime you are losing money. So a little lower performance is okay for me.

Some big holders pump and dump to check how stable it is.

Yes its lottery if you get a gtx 1060 with samsung memory. but if u get them, you get the best Hash/Watt ratio.

ETH Dual mining is not worth the trouble. You get less ETH and a lot of negative aspects such as more heat, more power, more problems.


 

got the same Problem. Miner says 170 Mh and Pool 80-110 ....

1) at the moment, piles of about 200 coins should be the best for staking. No there is no minimum requirement for staking
2 and 3) example: u got 10 coins. one minted block is about 0.8 coins. interest is now 35% for solo staking and 65% for masternode per year. so your 10 coins give 3,5 coins per year. so you will find an average of 4,375 blocks per year. That means, if your wallet is 24/7 online and staking, u will find a block every 2-3 Month.
As this blockfinding is based on luck, it could be possible, that u will find 2 blocks in one month or zero blocks in a half year.
4) at the right bottom of ur wallet is a diamond symbol. is the color grey, u are not staking, is the color blue, ur staking. move the cursor over it, then it says staking or not. Staking coins could be transferred, theres no problem. but if u found a block, the coins get exhausted for 24hours. so u have to wait 24 hours to transfer them. thats all

Hint for all SOLO Miners:

You are missing ur solo mined coins ? Then propably this will help you.

Even if u only have one receiving address, the DMD mined solo have another address!

So you have to reopen wallet v2 -> dumpprivkey from this solo mining address -> close v2 -> open v3 -> importprivkey from this solo mining address

What GPUs u have ? Im mining solo since March. Someday u get nearly zero coins and on some day u get about 10. You get a constant rate on a pool. If u can live with it, no problem
with 3x 1080ti u get about 180Mhash at 70% tdp. Average of 2 coins a day.

But difficulty is now really high. So much solo miners outta here ?
Difficulty is now 420k. Last week was about 340k 

Poolmining is disabled since yesterday. The only way is to solo mine. Yes its profitable with 3 gpus. Remember that on september 12th a snapshot is taken. every coin u mine after this point is lost.

leg mal den Biosswitch um und probiere das nochmal ? Ich hatte mein Bios anders editiert, aber RBE sollte funktionieren.
Ich hab ja auch die Dual-Fan Kartel, wenn du magst kann ich mein Bios später mal hochladen, bin grad auffer Arbeit

lad dir den Radeon BIOS Editor runter ( RBE ),lad dir ATI winflash runter, lad dir GPU-Z runter, speichere dein Bios mit GPU-Z, öffne mit dem RBE dieses Bios und mach den Haken bei "shader mod", danach speicherst du das Bios als "modbios.bin"
Nichts anderes verändern, viele Dinge sehen zwar toll aus, funktionieren aber nicht. Dann bleibt dein Bildschirm schwarz... Also erstmal nur "shader mod" aktivieren.

Kopiere ATI Winflash und das gemoddete Bios in ein Verzeichnis, z.B. c:\biosmod

starte cmd als admin und navigiere in das verzeichnis ( cd \biosmod )

dann "atiwinflash -unlockrom 0" eingeben

danach "atiwinflash -f -p 0 modbios.bin" eingeben

Jetzt müsstest du einen statusbalken sehen und wenn alles einwandfrei gelaufen ist, kommt eine Nachricht, das das Bios geflasht wurde.

Kommt keine Nachricht und der statusbalken verschwindet ca. bei der Hälfte, so ist dein Bios schreibgeschützt.

Entweder den Biosswitch in der Nähe der Crossfireverbindung in die andere Stellung bringen, oder, wenn du keinen Biosswitch hast, müsstest du den Bioschip ausfindig machen und eben 2 Pins verbinden, mittels löten um den Schreibschutz aufzuheben.

Wenn du dann die Shader freigeschaltet hast, und dich wunderst, warum du nicht über 350-360 Mhash kommst, obwohl du weit über 900Mhz bist. Vergiss nicht im Catalyst Center +20% Power zu geben. Die Karte wird sonst per Stromgrenze gedrosselt, obwohl die Temperatur noch im grünen Bereich ist.

Nach der installation das Teil starten, bei Settings enable Vcore change oder so ähnlich anmachen.
Dann das Proggi schliessen und ins Verzeichnis c:\programme\MSI Afterburner gehen und die MSIAfterburner.cfg editieren.

@X68N Die Kammer ist nicht Luftdicht, da zieht schon ein bisschen weg. Das läuft so seit etwa 1 Woche. Ist halt Altbau mit dicken und auch kalten Wänden. Ist im Sommer immer schön kühl, im Winter leider auch

@Flexaril Mit Winflash in Windows gehts nicht. Man muss cmd mit Adminrechten ausführen und eben in der Kommandozeile flashen. Diese Karte ist etwa 4 Wochen alt. Geht bei dir bestimmt auch.
Man kann auch die 1GB Karten ohne Biosswitch freischalten. Es muss nur am Bios-chip mittels 2 Lötpunkten der Schreibschutz aufgehoben werden. Hab die Lösung schon öfter gelesen, einfach mal googlen
Hab ich bei 2 PowerColor Radeon HD 6950, 1GB GDDR5 Karten schon gemacht. Läuft einwandfrei. Würde aber nach dem Flashvorgang die Brücke wieder entfernen, da VCC auf GND gelegt wird. Ob das auf Dauer überhaupt schadet, kann ich leider nicht sagen, aber sicher ist sicher.
Dabei habe ich auch festgestellt,das die 1GB Karten nicht so gut gingen wie meine jetzige 2GB Karte. Mag zufall sein, wer weiss. Die 1GB Modelle haben etwas mehr Spannung gebraucht. Um bei 900 stabil zu laufen hat die schlechteste 1,15V gebraucht ^^
