Biggest Mysteries Of Bitcoin
by
Editbar
on 11/10/2022, 15:21:56 UTC
One of the biggest mysteries in the technology world is the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto the computer programmer who invented the digital currency Bitcoin that's because Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym it may be the name of one person or the name of a group but for over 13 years now of bitcoins existence no one has figured out who or what Nakamoto is beyond solving a long-standing mystery what sort of impact would uncover that Komodos identity have to answer that question

2008 Satoshi Nakamoto published a nine-page white paper containing the first ever mention of Bitcoin calling it a peer-to-peer electronic cash system at this point bitcoin was just an idea on paper but in 2009 Nakamoto put the concepts to the test releasing the cryptocurrency's first software Nakamoto was active those first few years writing in forums sending emails and working with other developers and coders to improve the program that'll change in 2011 when Nakamoto  essentially vanished no more forum entries no more emails and in all that time nobody not even close collaborators ever met the founder in person but here's the thing whoever it is they didn't walk away empty-handed Nakamoto is estimated to have 1 million bitcoins.

When is the best time to buy Old Coin?
by
Editbar
on 10/10/2022, 14:11:05 UTC
This is important especially at this point in the market because we are so low already with the prices of cryptocurrencies however the old saying is if we go down 80 nothing is stopping us from going down another 80 so we want to identify the best times to be buying altcoins for those longer-term swing trades

my vision and opinion with cryptocurrencies is that there's still only a handful that is worth holding for a longer period but the vast majority of them should 100 be dumped as soon as possible to take those profits this has been my position throughout the entire 2021 bull market I was hated for it at the tops of the market but I guess now in the bear market everyone can see
I went through it in 2017 I held the coins to the Lowe's reposition my portfolio made sure I got out of it so that I could be fresh for the next bull market and I think we're starting to fall into that period now however the good news is we still have a fair bit of time even if we see a little Bounce from this area that we're in maybe the little bounce feels huge maybe.

Re: Is Trustwallet Safe?
by
Editbar
on 09/10/2022, 14:12:52 UTC
This is a self-custody wallet you are the one holding the crypto the whole time and when you earn interest is not through c5 instead it is to true defy you to own the keys this it's not to say that defy doesn't have its own set of risks when using something like trust wallet you have the option to just simply hold your crypto or if you want you to have the option to participate in d5.

for example with something like a trusted wallet if you enter an interest you can do this by staking defy lending providing liquidity yield farming and nft farming this is entirely different in this case you are giving your money to smart contracts or you are delegating your rights to a staking protocol in that case though there are risks of hacks there is a risk of smart contract bugs again you do not have to participate in this type of interest-earning and when it comes to staking with trust wallet

most of the crypto that you stake is self-custody staking meaning that you hold on to your coins all you are doing is delegating your voting right so the risk there is that the validator or the staking poll won't pay you the rewards but you get to hold on to your coins so the risk is on the lower end so when it comes to trust wallet you can simply use it and just hold your crypto on there you don't have to participate in d5.

A lot of you including me are probably down really bad in this crypto bear Market too to the point where we've either forgotten about our portfolios or we're just too afraid to look at them

I'll go with the fact that we're afraid but in all seriousness, we cannot fall into this trap not right now because right now is the prime time we need to be buying because I promise you the research you do now the coins you buy

right now will be the sole reason why you'll be sipping a pina colada on your yacht and if you guys don't have the
time to do all that don't worry because that's what I'm here for all right taking a look at the Bitcoin rainbow

Bitcoin is extremely oversold right now too to the point where it's almost falling off the chart altogether but this isn't too big of a surprise because from past data we know that September is notorious for being the worst one for a lot of things crypto stocks I sanity if we look back

in 2020 the same thing happened when we

bottomed out and hit this new low and then look what happened to the levels right after that and I feel the same
thing is going to happen right now we're in the same dark blue zone right now.

Strong Breakout for Shiba Inu in the short term?
by
Editbar
on 08/10/2022, 04:53:26 UTC
Shiba Inu teams can go ahead and deliver on promises and ship products that are honestly very good I know that card games aren't everyone's fun type of game but this is honestly a very well-designed game and lots of people are playing it and enjoying it, especially people that are not even inside of Shiba Inu in the ecosystem as a whole so overall I think this is a giant win for Shiba Inu even if it didn't cause a 30 pump in a single day still it's honestly amazing and you guys have to remember very popular saying buy the rumour sell the news yeah that still holds guys this is what we saw with Shiba eternity and what we're most likely going to see also was shibarium and other very large upcoming launches so why do I very strongly believe that there's going to be a strong breakout for Shiba Inu in the short term.

right, of course, we started that one on October because of the Binance burns because there's no way finally it's here now it's been seven-plus days and the price is just right just slowly.

a lot of the decentralized financial or the decentralized stablecoins that will be coming out are completely outside of the existing Financial structure there's no existing regulation that can handle that especially like there's a difference between enforcing this you know and just creating these regulations enforcing this great bring it on you're going to have a dark dark black market that's going to thrive in this condition because nobody's going to put up with this garbage especially when they come out with their CBD which is complete

garbage junk from the bank of international settlements and the Federal Reserve is just crap right and you know what why would you trust people like this anyways especially when you just hit 31 trillion dollars of your national debt shows how fiscally responsible the United States is and you know what they are not interested in being fiscally responsible especially when you know they're buying up
mortgage-backed Securities when even in 2007 2008 when they were buying up their rating agencies and making subprime loans which are just garbage loans that
they packaged up and everybody knew about it but nobody did anything about it.

if you want the same people to rule your life your financial life go ahead you know because there's going to be two different roads that you can take the daddy government one that you're going to die early and you're going to be poor or you can make a difference in your life and you can become very wealthy and be successful in life which is doing the opposite of what government wants you to do and this

I don't care one bit I love how scared they are and how they're shaking in their boots it's great it's beautiful and this
is what needs to happen more and more Slaughter Goliath means disruption is working this is a disruptive technology and the government hates disruption.

Crypto Currencies Privacy

there are a lot of people in crypto now who don't understand the importance of censorship resistance and who don't care that crypto should be for everyone they think criminals should be punished they think that they should be sacrificing their privacy and everyone's privacy for the sake of trying to punish criminals exist everywhere.

The War of crypto has begun um so in my opinion I think anonymity and privacy online should be highly valued and practised by anyone to the best of ability who is interacting with cryptocurrencies.

most people are buying it because they think it's going to appreciate in the future or they're and they're not transacting with it in their daily lives they're

holding it for the long term and because of that type of price speculation there are a lot of people, especially day traders who use tools or use what's happening on
futures markets to determine the sentiment of where the price is going to go, everyone, wants to have a crystal ball of what the future price of anything is going to be and futures prices you know the last Friday of every month always volatile because that's when the futures expire and people are basing what's going to happen in the next month on that this particular day so on the short term.

I need to remind you that the value of any cryptocurrency is found in its network the security of its decentralization of it  the speed of it how much it
costs to transact on it the utility of that cryptocurrency supply is tied into that as well with the
tokenomics bitcoin has a limited supply which is a huge strong point for bitcoin.

Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC?
by

BTC's circulating supply is now 19 billion out of the 21 billion caps.

Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC will go up until it hits the 21 billion cap?

I know there is some complicated math you can do about circulating supply, market cap, price etc, it's all connected,

How can I calculate the price potential of BTC within the next 1-10 years?

Re: Mining Bitcoin
by
Editbar
on 05/10/2022, 08:03:15 UTC
When calculating  Bitcoin mining profitability there are a lot of things you need to take into account.

A Hash is a mathematical problem the miner's computer needs to solve.

The Hash Rate refers to your miner's performance or how many guesses your computer can make per second.

Hash rate can be measured in  Mega hash per second (MH/s),

Giga hash per second (GH/s),

Terra hash per second (TH/s)

and even Peta hash per second (PH/s).

This refers to the number of Bitcoins generated when a miner finds the solution.

This number started at  50 Bitcoins back in 2009 and is halved every 210,000 blocks,  about four years.

The current number of Bitcoins awarded per block is 12.5.

The last block halving occurred in July of 2016 and the next one will be in 2020.

This is a number that represents how hard it is to mine Bitcoins at a certain moment according to the amount of mining power currently active in the system.

How many dollars are you paying per KiloWatt?

You'll need to find out your electricity rate to calculate profitability.

This can usually be found on your monthly electricity bill.

The reason this is important is that miners consume electricity - whether for powering up the miner or for cooling it down as these machines can get hot.

Each miner consumes a different amount of energy.

You'll need to find out the exact power consumption of your miner before calculating profitability.

This can be found easily with a quick search on the Internet or through this list.

Power consumption is measured in Watts.

If you are mining through a mining pool,  and you should,

then the pool will take a certain percentage of your earnings for rendering their service.

Since no one knows what the Bitcoin price will be in the future it's hard to predict if Bitcoin mining will be profitable.

If you are planning to convert  your mined Bitcoins in the future to any other currency,

this variable will have a significant impact on your profitability.

The Difficulty increase per year -

This is probably the most important and elusive variable of them all.

The idea is that since no one can predict the rate of miners joining the network, neither can anyone predict how difficult it will be to mine in 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years from now.

In fact, in all the time Bitcoin has existed profitability has dropped only a handful of times, even at times when the price was relatively low.

"is Bitcoin mining profitable?"

Once you have all of these variables at hand you can insert them into a Bitcoin mining calculator and get an estimate of how much Bitcoin you will earn each month.

⭐ Merited by JayJuanGee (1)
during the bull markets when bitcoin's putting in the big green candles and uber drivers telling you about the latest meme coins that are the point where there's a maximum financial risk and our brains are biased in the opposite direction because our recent memory bias is saying that risk equals greater returns all the

risks that we've taken in the past six
months have panned out well and
we expect that to continue in the future
the same is true of bear markets where
our recent memory bias suggests that any
risks that we take will not be financially rewarded further risk equals further ruin

and this creates a skewed cognitive bias
where our perception of risk actually
differs from the real risk during market
cycles but any time during a bull market
there will be people posted on Twitter
and in the news saying that bitcoin is
going to go to the moon and there's
going to be a 5x or a 10x from here and
the same people will be telling you in
bear markets that bitcoin is going to
retrace to previous levels whether that

be 10k or 3k or it's going to zero.

Re: Does new projects succeed in bear
by
Editbar
on 04/10/2022, 11:51:11 UTC
in my investment, I identified a leak where I haven't been in rebalancing my portfolio as much as I do in bull markets I also haven't been looking for new projects to
invest in over the last few months since the beginning of the year I haven't taken on any new investments and
the investments that I already have I haven't been rebalancing back to the target allocations this has created a situation where my portfolio has passively risked off but it's done in a very inefficient way if I wasn't willing to rebalance their positions and probably no market participants were buying either I should have been in the
position in the first place this wasn't a conscious decision where I decided I wasn't going to keep rebalancing it was just simply that I didn't couldn't bring myself to sell bitcoin underneath to buy into an altcoin that had depreciated 20 relatives to bitcoin and Ethereum in the last 24 hours
our coins get wrecked in bear markets and this leads to our portfolios

having a greater concentration of higher

market cap assets and that creates a

risk of the portfolio because the higher

caps don't have the same volatility and

they don't capture the same upside when

the market turns and we start getting

the green candles again.

NFTs are extremely down bad more down bad than me right now if you can believe that obviously I'm just kidding guys but many nft collections have seen over a 90-plus correction to the downside so people are going crazy and a lot of people are down in their crypto and nfts portfolio which makes a lot of sense so an important thing to note is that the nft market is much more different now than it was just a couple of months ago many people were making thousands and thousands of dollars on monkey pictures and it was crazy you could close your eyes and gamble on nfts and you'd probably come out with a profit however now that just isn't the case people are having a much harder time making money in the current market simply because not a lot of people are buying nfts right

This is a big opportunity I think for us potentially going forward so Binance now starts the ethereum proof of work mining pool and I think this is huge because Binance is
one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world and if they ultimately ended up adopting this coin as part of their
regular market and trading and stuff like investing would be a huge game changer for this coin.
